These cookies were SO detailed and beautiful I bought a few packages. I hired her to bake 3 dozen raspberry and Carmel churros cupcakes and 2 dozen derailed lemon cookies for my work party. They were such a hit!!! Everyone kept saying the cupcakes were the best they ever had. Contacting her- I was very patient because I was talking to her via Facebook messaging. So it took a few days to get responses, but then I started to text. She informed me on why she took longer than expected and I completely respected that! Just a reminder people, we all do not know what others are going through. Stay kind and help small businesses! Pick up- I met her in MH and she was exactly on time when we said we would meet. I emailed them to set up a cake tasting, and they mentioned that their next availability would be a month out. I was surprised that it was so far out, but it's because they are VERY popular. We met with Debbie & Elisha in person and they provided some of their most popular cakes for tasting. We swapped one out to try their tiramisu flavor, but we ended up sticking with their most popular flavors. They were very flexible with us having 3 different flavors for our cake, which was greatly appreciated as I was being very indecisive. What I really loved about them is that they made sure that everything was taken care of after our tasting was done. The cake was delivered to our venue with no issues, and many of our guests complimented on how great it tasted. I'm really glad that we didn't need to shop around to check out other dessert vendors, and they made it so easy for us to check this off our list. And while I did look at Safeway and Nob Hill. I really wanted to support a local business. I kind of went here on a whim a couple weeks before my son's birthday party was planned. They were able to fit me in between several wedding cakes, they were making that day and make this beautiful cake. All I had to do was buy some cake toppers because they did not have time to make an elaborate cake because I waited too long. The process was easy they gave me a quote. I told them how many kids and people I was expecting and payment was easy. Now let's talk about the good part. The actual cake looked amazing better than I pictured in my head. And the taste was absolutely incredible. We did a simple strawberry cake with a strawberry mousse, and I believe strawberry jam. It was unreal!! it wasn't artificially sweet like some cakes can be with strawberry flavoring, but subtle moist, and absolutely incredible! I know most adults don't necessarily eat cake when they're at a birthday party, but I can tell you every adult at my son's birthday party ate a slice and was blown away. I definitely think they will be getting some referrals. I just want to thank them again for fitting us in on a busy day.

Remember to quickly set aside and hide your cookies you want to take home. The cookies are so good and beautiful that they will disappear. The first event was my son's graduation from SFSU. The graduation hats and gowns were a nice black color with gold tassels standing out, and the gator cookie was smooth with bright colors of bright gold and purple. We had two different graduating years as one graduation was in 2023 and the other was this year. Kara created a cookie for each year with a bit of sparkle in the frosting behind the year. We did vanilla and they were a hit. The second event was a large bridal shower. Between the three hostesses with very specific requests, we found four different designs and used some of Kara's. Let's start with ORDER THE LEMON COOKIES. Oh my goodness!!!! Delicious!!! Not that awful pledge flavor, but a light fresh meyer lemon taste. Because there is fresh meyer lemon in the dough and frosting. If you are a vanilla fan, then you will love the vanilla. It was also tasty. Lemon was the bride's choice, and a good choice it was! I cannot even describe how beautiful these cookies came out. We gave Kara photos and a color palate. As hostesses, we wanted these cookies perfect. They were. My only complaint is that when I got home, there weren't any left. We way over ordered, but the guests were so taken with the taste and how pretty the cookies were, they took three or four home for later with their coffee. Honestly, we over ordered because we wanted guests to take treats home to their families. I was so excited when I found a few in a bag for my son. My apologies for my crudy photography skills. The cookies were a take away gift, so they are in their little keep them fresh bags. Obviously the theme was Bride to Bee. The golds were pure and the intricacy of her decorating was meticulous. We couldn't have asked for more amazing cookies. Guests are still talking about them. She informed me right away that she is licensed and gets inspected which right away I was sold. I drove about 45 mins to an hour to Maxine's home but it was worth it.
