The cupcakes were very dry, they all ended up into the trash. The dark chocolate frosting was ok, it was like whipped chocolate fudge. The mint had way too much peppermint extract with a very dry cupcake. The red velvet didn't taste anything like a red velvet cupcake. It was not a good flavor; can't even describe it The frosting tasted like I put a spoonful of powdered sugar in my mouth mixed with some shortening maybe. A tip for the owner, a simple box of powdered pudding can help with moisture.

OK, I have to admit that it's a hit-and-miss, and not for everyone; but don't knock it till you try it. So we were shopping in Gilroy. Let me rephrase that: My wifey was shopping in Gilroy and she mentioned to me that she saw a couple of girls eating mango from a cup and skewers. She asked me if I saw it, and of course I replied an emphatic "NO!" to her. Honestly, at that time, I was quite annoyed by it and thought it was so insignificant and trivial thing. What so special about girls eating mangoes, I quietly thought to myself. Lo and behold, we saw a Food Vendor with "All Natural" name and a sign indicating if we have tried their Chili Sauce. (Flashback: I had mentioned to my co-worker about the Youtube video regarding Watermelon and Sriracha combo.) Sweet and Spicy? Like I mentioned, don't knock it till you try it. For a large cup ($7.00) you get mangoes, cantaloupe and watermelon generously splashed with their Chili Sauce. On this particular time, they had ran out of watermelon, but two out of three ain't bad. Some of the mangoes where kinda tangy, but mixed with their Chili Sauce, it wasn't so foreign in terms of flavor standpoint since I have eaten mango with Binegar (B as in Victory) in the Philippines. However, when you get a nice sweet mango or cantaloupe with their Chili Sauce together, it was crazy combination that we couldn't get enough of. I wasn't sure what flavors to choose and she guided me to a possible flavor selection from her most popular flavors and by asking what my son's favorite flavors were. Based off of strawberries (His favorite flavor) she came up with an amazing flavor profile for the cake, mini cupcakes and cake pops. The cake ended up being a classic vanilla cake layered with fresh strawberry cream, fresh strawberries, and a touch of strawberry coulis. The cake pops were triple chocolate flavor made with Belgian truffle chocolate--and strawberries, and last but not least the mini cupcakes were strawberry with lemon buttercream. The final products came out beyond my expectations from the visual presentation she nailed and even better than the inspiration photo I sent her and the taste was so delicious and tasty. We first went on their website to see what style we wanted for our cake, and they also provided a long list of flavors and fillings. I emailed them to set up a cake tasting, and they mentioned that their next availability would be a month out. I was surprised that it was so far out, but it's because they are VERY popular. We met with Debbie & Elisha in person and they provided some of their most popular cakes for tasting. We swapped one out to try their tiramisu flavor, but we ended up sticking with their most popular flavors. They were very flexible with us having 3 different flavors for our cake, which was greatly appreciated as I was being very indecisive. What I really loved about them is that they made sure that everything was taken care of after our tasting was done. The cake was delivered to our venue with no issues, and many of our guests complimented on how great it tasted. I'm really glad that we didn't need to shop around to check out other dessert vendors, and they made it so easy for us to check this off our list. They were able to fit me in between several wedding cakes, they were making that day and make this beautiful cake. All I had to do was buy some cake toppers because they did not have time to make an elaborate cake because I waited too long. The process was easy they gave me a quote. I told them how many kids and people I was expecting and payment was easy. Now let's talk about the good part. The actual cake looked amazing better than I pictured in my head. And the taste was absolutely incredible. We did a simple strawberry cake with a strawberry mousse, and I believe strawberry jam. It was unreal!! it wasn't artificially sweet like some cakes can be with strawberry flavoring, but subtle moist, and absolutely incredible! I know most adults don't necessarily eat cake when they're at a birthday party, but I can tell you every adult at my son's birthday party ate a slice and was blown away.
