I saw her booth today at the San Juan Arts and Craft Fest. The cupcakes seemed overprice at $6 for one because they are very small compared to regular cupcake places and no special decorations. I don't know what "percentage" goes to scholarships because there is no webpage with a business plan, mission etc. So I spent $18 on 3 cupcakes: dark chocolate, chocolate mint and red velvet. The cupcakes were very dry, they all ended up into the trash. The dark chocolate frosting was ok, it was like whipped chocolate fudge. The mint had way too much peppermint extract with a very dry cupcake. The red velvet didn't taste anything like a red velvet cupcake. It was not a good flavor; can't even describe it The frosting tasted like I put a spoonful of powdered sugar in my mouth mixed with some shortening maybe. A tip for the owner, a simple box of powdered pudding can help with moisture. read more

Really nice sweet treats with some super fun flavors. Never thought I would get to try a butterbeer, peach cobbler, or smore's cupcake! Loved all of them. I wish I took some photos to share but I honestly couldn't wait to try them. I also purchased two of the bombs to give as gifts (I think they're called that)- chocolate and pumpkins spice. EVERYONE, PLEASE BEWARE OF OLYMPIA AND HER SCAM BUSINESS!! Please read this review before ordering or being targeted by this woman. So, I contacted Olympia for a cake smash order, and 2 more cake orders for my daughters' birthdays along with some cupcakes. In the beginning she was very pleasant and was trying to show a great customer service. After placing the first order for the cake smash, I sent her the pictures I wanted for the other 2 cakes. The minute she received the other pictures, she completely changed and started being rude. That should have been a red flag to me that she didn't even know how to bake cakes. The pictures I sent her were quite simple ( one based on Elsa character theme and the other for twinkle twinkle star). Anyways, she completely stopped answering my messages and when she did, her messages were very rude. Unfortunately, it was a little late because I had already paid her the money for cake smash order. She never sent me the invoice claiming that my email address was not valid. When I sent her an email so that I confirm my email, she claimed that the invoice was sent to my PayPal account and my PayPal account doesn't accept emails? This whole thing was very suspicious and seemed very wrong. The day I was supposed to pick up my order, she texted me that she needs to leave so I have to be there exactly on time to pick up my order. Unfortunately, my baby wasn't feeling well so I sent my husband to pick up the order. Her address is not what's listed on yelp and is complicated to find. It took my husband probably an extra 10 minutes to get there, so I told her that since she has to leave and the money for the order is already paid, she can leave the cake by her door and my husband will pick it up. She texted me back that she will charge us $10-15 extra since we are late or she won't give us the cake. YES!!! YOU READ THAT RIGHT!!!! I honestly am still in shock she said that . She doesn't know how to bake cakes and she just wants to trap people so that she steals their money. And guess what she calls that, charity to college!!! Since my husband didn't want to deal with her, he gave her the extra money for no reason and got the cake. The cake was probably way smaller comparing to what she had promised, with everything smashed and looking like a disaster. Well, I don't think that extra money is worth or the reason I'm writing this review. The main reason I'm writing this is to save some other naive people from being the target of her scam and theft. "Note to Olympia" I am sure you're feeling victorious for getting that extra money that you never deserved. Be aware that soon your business will go down if you continue to rip off people and steal their money the way you did to us. I hope you're feeling embarrassed. read more

We picked up a 4 pack for $20 when at LJBs this last weekend. 4 different flavors: strawberry, lemon, vanilla confetti and banana pudding flavor. Cupcakes were small for the price-point, but they looked tasty and artfully prepared. The proceeds (all or a %, I'm not sure), go towards Cal-SOAP scholarships. Unfortunately, the cupcakes were disappointing in flavor and moistness. Perhaps direct orders turn out good, but in this instance, the product was not worth the price. Olympia has done a few of our cakes this past 2020 year she is amazing and is very honest when it comes to timing, price, availability and tries to be as helpful as possible. She has done my daughters graduation/birthday cake (The Big 14), my husbands Father's Day cake and just did my sons 1st birthday cake and smash cake which I had called hear Tuesday and the party was that Sunday. We got four things from their Gilroy Christmas tree lighting parade booth, a caramel apple, an eggnog cupcake, a rice crispy treat Nutcracker and a chocolate pretzel. The caramel apple and cupcake were terrible. The cupcake was beyond dry and flavorless, Betty Crocker box mix would have been better, and the caramel apple used a flavorless red apple, anyone who knows food would know to use a green apple for the tart and sweet contrast... the rice crispy treat was good and the pretzel was fine.
