I come here for their food items and drinks! I've actually only tried a few of their pastries and those were mediocre at best. The stars of this small hole in the wall bakery is the food they serve: -Mini hot burritos (What they serve changes everyday) -Tortas -The hot drinks they offer: Coffee Atole De Avena (Mexican oatmeal drink) Champurrado (Mexican hot chocolate) They also have a few other hot drinks they serve but those change often. My husband starts work super early so he commutes in, this place hits the spot for him when he needs a snack and something hot to warm his belly. My fave is the Atole de Avena. If you are an oatmeal lover, you'll love this hot creamy beverage. Slightly and mildly sweetened it really hits the spot in the morning or whenever! Plus it's good for you!

This is a quaint little Mexican style bakery, the woman at the front was new but was very polite. The food itself is decent, the price is a bit high for what it is and where it is. At 9$ for two drinks and two scones that feels a bit high, not terrible but not great either. The end of the story here is that it they taste fairly fresh and seem clean under the new management.

    Very good and fresh

I don't know what "percentage" goes to scholarships because there is no webpage with a business plan, mission etc. So I spent $18 on 3 cupcakes: dark chocolate, chocolate mint and red velvet. The cupcakes were very dry, they all ended up into the trash. The dark chocolate frosting was ok, it was like whipped chocolate fudge. The mint had way too much peppermint extract with a very dry cupcake. The red velvet didn't taste anything like a red velvet cupcake. It was not a good flavor; can't even describe it The frosting tasted like I put a spoonful of powdered sugar in my mouth mixed with some shortening maybe. A tip for the owner, a simple box of powdered pudding can help with moisture.

I wish I took some photos to share but I honestly couldn't wait to try them. I also purchased two of the bombs to give as gifts (I think they're called that)- chocolate and pumpkins spice. They were a hit! Super cool how the label is edible and melts away. I'm very happy with everything I tried. Next time, I'll definitely get my hands on those cupcake parfaits.

Atoria's Family Bakery located in Gilroy, CA is family owned and operated. From grandmother…read moreAtoria's recipes THE best whole grain, Non-GMO, low calorie flatbread I've ever eaten is created. Great as is, or used to make thin crust pizza or a wrap sandwich. Bristol Farms in my neighborhood, until recently offered two Atoria's Family Bakery varieties of lavash. Empty shelves lead me to store management. Didn't have a reason for not carrying the flatbread but assured me the bakery's naan and pita pockets would still be available. Disappointed, I went directly to the source, Atoria's Family Bakery's website http://www.atoriasfamilybakery.com (If you have time, navigate there to learn more like I did.) OK, why not use their store locater to find another retailer? Currently, I'm only half vaxxed, still masking, make that double masking, therefore limiting my exposure in the outside world so another grocery was out of the question. Happily, I learned the certified vegan, Kosher OU, Whole Grain & Flax Lavash I know and love can be ordered directly online, shipped FedEx to my door minus Styrofoam, dry ice or other insulation materials, keeps refrigerated for three weeks or up to six months in the freezer. SOLD! While further perusing the website, I also learned what an amazing, planet friendly, give back to the community company Atoria's Family Bakery is; yet more reason to be a loyal customer. My Whole Grain & Flax Lavash purchase was more expensive per unit than what I paid at Bristol Farms but when you enjoy a product, you gotta have it. I hit "place order." Delivery was less than three days. When I read the Thank You card included in my order, paying more was justified. Flip side of the card indicated my purchase contributed to their local Second Harvest Food Bank, #cleanbreadforeveryone. Once fully vaxxed, feeling safer out and about, will I buy Atoria's Family Bakery products at a grocery store near me? Nope. I like knowing my shopping helps others when I purchase directly from Atoria's Family Bakery! Please note: To the best of my research Atoria's Family Bakery is retail online and wholesale to grocery stores NOT a brick and mortar.
