Homemade butter and black pepper maple syrup glistened on to with pecans. The waffle melted in my mouth with all the delicious flavors. I am not a big waffle person but that waffle was heavenly. Tee and her staff are friendly as all get out!! Shout out to everyone who served me. Service here is gold star worthy. I know I will return. The place is small but worth it if you have to wait. I had no wait as I came later in the morning. I took half of my waffles home. Added plus...got serenaded by staff! They can sing and are some of the most joyful people ever! I had such a wonderful time. Glad I made the trek from Cordova.

We were greeted and ordered right away, the customer service was not bad, but given the fact that we said it was our first time and no one else was present, I thought we would get more suggestions or insight in the menu or the restaurant. The food was great, especially the sweet potato waffles, creamy grits and my daughter loved the breakfast fried rice. We will definitely be back.

I had a butter biscuit this morning for breakfast, and the biscuit was golden, warm, carefully buttered and served with two choices of jelly. This place is a refuge from the hustle of most coffee shops and features indoor and outdoor seating. One thing to note: if you're in a hurry, come on a day when you have time. Service isn't glacially slow, but it's definitely not fast. That's part of the charm.

It's inside the Front Porch building--a new community hub on the campus of Second Baptist Church on Walnut Grove. Bottom line: it's a legit addition to Memphis's coffee/café lineup. The coffee is decent and the baked goods/food are excellent. Baked goods come from Sweet Lala's and their biscuits are a standout: buttery, flaky, and fresh. The staff are especially welcoming, which makes a bigger difference than people realize. The space is dialed in too--plenty of comfortable seating, tons of natural light, and just enough ambient noise from the nearby co-working areas to stay focused without it feeling dead quiet. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

It's a quite nice place to have lunch. The guy at the front register could have been a bit more inviting. The service was spot on. The layout is immaculate. And, even with a full restaurant by the time we were leaving, I could hear him (I oftentimes have trouble in public spots). I'll take pics of food next time! And their food menu is one that I could literally order anything and be happy with. This first trip I had a breakfast bowl.

Delightful little coffeeshop in Germantown! :)…read more I came here to refuel after attending a funeral and before transitioning to a family dinner. It's in a cute shopping center. A lot of the businesses seem quite busy, so parking is a little bit of a hassle, but not too bad. I rolled into a very nicely decorated, welcoming space. It's roomier than I expected with plenty of tables to work, eat, or gather. They offer coffee drinks, pastries, and even full breakfast and lunch - think sandwiches, fruit bowls, salads, waffles, etc. I made my way to the register. The young lady who took my order was effusively nice and very friendly and I enjoyed chatting with her a little bit - apparently, neither one of us are from the Memphis area, haha. I ordered a latte of some sort (can't remember the exact name but it was their take on a biscoff cookie latte) and a muffin to go. I was able to make myself a quick complementary cup of cool water at the self-serve station as well as napkins, straws, etc. my order came out quickly. Overall, I was quite pleased. The muffin was loaded with chocolate chips and also had very pleasant notes of cinnamon and other warming spices. The latte had the perfect amount of ice in it and a discernible, fairly strong biscoff taste, which I enjoyed. My one main wish was that it been mixed a bit more before served; most of the syrup was at the bottom and came through in either gigantic overwhelming mouthfuls or not at all. However, that was a fairly easy remedy to render myself with a few good stirs of my straw. I'd say this visit is a 4.5. This coffee shop is close to my aunt's house and I will definitely return next time we visit the Memphis area. If quality remains consistent, it'll be an easy round up to a 5 next time. Thanks, JoJo's!

So... aside from getting an iced latte with a pump of mocha syrup, I decided to try their potato hash and a side of bacon. Both were delicious. The bacon wasn't cooked hard so I don't know if that is a deal breaker for you guys but I like mine with a decent chew and not all crunch. The potatoes were cooked with bell pepper and it was so good to me. The bell peppers weren't undercooked and everything had a good balance. My only take away was that I started to feel like it became greasy once I made it to the last few scoops, but thankfully, it wasn't like it was swimming in oil/grease. I also took note that despite it being a decent line, they were functioning fluidly so I really didn't feel like my wait was long at all. Gotta love sufficient service. I believe I spoke on the decor before, but if I haven't, the place is very quaint with outdoor seating. It gives off a local bakery with a hint of modern. Another thing I like is that you can see them prepping some of the baked goods as you wait.

I have to agree with the other reviewers. I am from NY, so had set my expectations accordingly,…read morethese bagels were outstanding and exceeded them! The bagels have a perfect toast to the outside and the flavor you'd expect from quality, homemade bagels. They also offer many sandwiches served on those bagels. This was the closest sandwich I've had to an NY bacon, egg and cheese outside of NY. In addition to the bagels, their coffee drinks are phenomenal. There are also a huge variety of pastries, but we didn't try those to comment on quality. I believe they just opened a second location as I'm writing this review, I see nothing but big things for this place. They can be very busy and it can get a little tight, but that is a minor gripe.
