Color changing spoon

Bahama Buck's is a nice option to cool off with a shaved ice, especially in the Texas summer heat. There are a ton of flavor options (including sugar free) as well as other drink offerings like Red Bull infusions, smoothies, sodas, and more. There can be a bit of a line during peak hours but they're fairly efficient at taking and fulfilling orders. FAST FACTS: * Parking - Located in a strip center with plenty of parking available out front * Online ordering - Available on their website for pickup and delivery (can schedule in advance too) * Happy hour - half-price Bahama sodas every day until 3:00 pm * Sugar free flavors available * Allergen and nutrition information available on their website * Rewards - join the Surf Club for free and earn "Paradise Points" for free products (free small Signature Son after you join and make a purchase) SERVICE - You order at the counter and they call out your name when your order is ready. There is always a line when I visit but it moves fairly quickly. A majority of the workers are college age... they're mostly friendly and definitely hustle to get the orders out. PRICING - The total was $12.86 after tax ($0.98) but before tip for a 16oz regular Sno ($4.89) and 24oz regular smoothie ($6.99). It can get a little pricey if you add a lot of toppings but it isn't outrageous. SNO (6/10) - It's a basic shave ice... there are a bunch of "Signature Sno" flavors that are pre-made but you can also customize a Sno with a flavoring of your choice and toppings for an additional charge (with the exception of the shakers that are free to add). I've gotten the sugar free strawberry cheesecake and birthday cake flavors and both were good for what they are. You can order it with the top (standard) or as a flat top (required for delivery) which puts it in a bigger cup so you don't have the mountain of ice on top. It is supposed to come with an umbrella on top but mine was missing on this particular visit. The spoon changes color with the cold which is a super cool feature! WAVEBENDER ISLAND SMOOTHIE CREAM BLEND (7/10) - It's a blend of bananas, pineapple, coconut rum flavor, and vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and a cherry on top. It's super sweet and creamy with tropical fruit flavors if that's what you're looking for. The Round Rock location has some shelves with various games you can play as well as plugs available by the booths which are unique touches that make it a great spot to hang out with friends. I will definitely be back if I'm craving a shaved ice but might try ordering ahead if I'm visiting during a busy time to avoid waiting in line.

Tropical Wave Refresher ($5.29)

I felt like getting a cold refreshment on a super hot day and hadn't been by here in a while so I stopped by. I decided to get their Tropical Wave Refresher drink which is made with Red Bull. Oh my goodness... I found my new obsession. This is my new favorite drink and I've been by to get it probably about 7x since. My daughter also fell in love with it and compared its flavor to the bottom of a melted cup of shaved ice. It's good. They have a ton of other options too but I don't know if I'll ever get a chance to try them since I found this drink :-). Service has always been fast and friendly. I also recommend downloading their app since you can earn free rewards.

I had a wonderful experience here! My friends in high school used to work at a BB in College Station and they always talked about how much they loved it. Wonderful sugar free options that don't even taste sugar free! The staff was awesome and the atmosphere was nice and clean. I can't wait to be back!

Mango, passion fruit, peach (from left to right)

Terrible snow cone! I got a small (12oz) and kept it simple with 3 flavors: mango, passion fruit, and peach. None of them tasted like the fruit, not even a little bit. I pretty much had a cup of fruity flavor but couldn't define any of the flavor. The ice melts super fast. As I got down 1/3 of the cup (count from the rim down), the ice almost melted completely.

I went here Saturday May 3rd at 8:30 it was 7 of them working and only one person making the orders. Not only that but I clearly stated I wanted a milkshake and still got shaved ice after I said something everybody had even more of an attitude just for the milkshake to not even be all that. GIVE ME MY TIP BACK.

3 snowcones - $20 (one small the other two were the mini) The shaved ice was so soft and the flavors were great. I did walk in with a little apprehension since I saw some photos of the bottom of a snow cone being "dry" but ours were flavored all the way. The people working behind the counter were all very young but also very polite. I'll definitely be back and next time I'll try some of the other flavors! The gummy bear was yummy but the presentation was a little bit lackluster- regardless my daughter enjoyed it and the little gummy bears were a pleasant surprise to find in the snow cone. My mangonada was SO GOOD. I ate all of it and then paid the price with some heartburn. Worth it. Tiny little mango cubes evenly dispersed through the snow, the tamarindo straw with chamoy and chili powder added the right touch of spice. The unicorn was a beautiful rainbow snow cone with a dollop of whip cream on top. All flavors delightful and my daughter appreciated the presentation. Fast and friendly service, super cold treat for these hot summer days. Glad I checked this place out and I'll be coming back soon.

I decided to take my boys to enjoy some good shaved ice and give the downtown RR location a break (in my opinion isn't good) and let's just say bahama bucks is so good and we'll be returning!! I've never been a huge shaved ice fan and this has changed my mind! They do offer different delicious options other then shaved Ice. Picture below is called Shark Attack with red sour patch kid filling.

Came here with a large group for after school event to celebrate with the kids. Cute place, well staffed (but I think they knew we were coming). Big menu with lots of great flavors and ideas. Definitely would return especially this summer. Also have a few games available if you want to hang out a bit.

Bahama Buck's is a "have to stop at" when we would go to Frisco but now I'm so happy to have one in Round Rock!! (hutto soon I hope)!! I haven't had a flavored snow cone that I didn't like, I haven't had the sour flavors but that's not my jam. To get the most from BB you have to get the ice cream in the middle, I mean seriously, snow cone + ice cream = no brainer! I did have the mango tango smoothie and it was ok. Not something I will get again but I will try the other smoothie flavors.

Left Mango with spicy powder( it tastes like mangonada), right tigers blood.

I m not a fan of shaved ice but this place just changed my opinion about shaved ice. My son wanted shaved ice few weeks back, so did a quick yelp seaarch and decided to try BB and glad we did. Place looked clean and bright. So Many options, you kinda get lost and they have few sugar free syrups options too. I ordeRed mango flavor with chamoy sauce and Tajin spice, it's like mangonada, my son tigers blood and I dunno what it is‍ They don't skimp on syrups and it was perfect for this hot weather, we ordered size small and it was more than enough and fairly priced, if it's only for shaved ice I would've given More than 5stars. The week we went, it was sUpposed to be(25%capacity), but there were more people and other than me, my kid and couple of them, most of the people dint wore maSk. There 4-5 teen kids making the order and none of them wore masks only gloves and they were all next to each other. The place was like, how the places Used to be before the pandemic, just like that. So next time probably will do curb pickup.

It honestly feels like you've stepped into a fairytale -- the flowers, the decor, the atmosphere. Just being here instantly lifts your mood. On top of that, the matcha and desserts are truly excellent. The desserts are especially impressive: not overly sweet, very balanced, with a delicate, soft texture. Everything comes together perfectly here: the interior, the drinks, and the desserts they serve. This is one of those places where the whole experience feels thoughtful and harmonious. I'm definitely becoming a regular.

Based upon reviews and research, I deduced this was a place that required those who visit to order at a kiosk to get their goodies. Side note: I have noticed that many Bobba and fast casual places have reverted to this model; where customers order and pay themselves without the interaction of an employee and then wait for their food. The main difference here and other places that have similar self service is that this place provides customers with a plethora of Instagramable/ FOMO opportunities. My partner elected to order an oreo marshmallow frappe. This frappe was rich and decadent and included silky chocolate interwoven with oreo crumbles. This frappe tasted exactly like a 'fluffy' oreo; just devine. On the other hand, I ordered the creme brulee souffle pancake. For those who have not yet had the opportunity to try this Japanese delight, the name is what it implies; a creamy stack of pancakes with crunchy bitter caramel, and silky vanilla custard. This dessert happened to be accompanied by a dollop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. These pancakes melted in my mouth and each bite was just as good as the one that preceded it. Aside from the great desserts as mentioned above, there are far too many instagrammable opportunities in this place (*truly a foodie and Yelp Elites dream).

Backyard patio has some big bricks for the kids to play with. Parking is a bit confusing at first but there's additional parking to the side if the entrance lot is full. We sat outside and ordered the following dishes: Coxinha (shredded chicken croquette) was excellent and very kid friendly. Crispy on the outside while incredibly creamy and soft on the inside. 9/10 Bolinha de Queijo (fried cheese balls) were my son's favorite, basically their version of mozzarella sticks. 9/10 Pizza Queijo, cheese pizza with crust stuffed with Brazilian cream cheese, really good. 8/10 Espetinho de Chicken Heart, my wife's choice and she loved it. Dense, slightly chewy, and best with lime and the creamy pepper sauce the waiter brought after I asked. 8/10 Strogonoff de Frango, the standout main dish. Rich, creamy, perfectly seasoned sauce with excellent rice and crispy potato sticks. 9/10 Caipirinha Tradicional, solid and paired well with the savory dishes. 9/10 Caipirinha de Caju, my wife loved it, perfectly balanced sweetness. 10/10 Brigadeiro (dessert) taken to go. Small but tasted as expected. 7/10 Pricing is mid range and actually lower than expected overall though drinks can push the bill up quickly. Overall, great vibes and a very enjoyable experience. Best suited for dates, special occasions, or family outings. I would definitely come back, especially to try more appetizers, different pizza options, the Strogonoff de Frango again and try some new dishes. 4.5 / 5 rounded up!

Luckily, they were able to seat me anyway. This is a casual restaurant with a full bar. I was going to eat 4 times today, and needed to pick something light, but ended up with the escondidinho de carne, a shepherds pie like dish, chicken skewers and a dragonfruit caparinha. Cocktail- served in a lowball and looked great upon presentation. This tasted pretty good, but ended up being so small with a lot of ice, unfortunately. Skewers - these were pretty good with a nice grilled flavor. I loved the texture. Escondidinho de carne - this is a really good dish with ground beef that doesn't have many veggies like the Irish version, but still very good. The visit was not without a miscues though. I asked the waitress for an extra plate when she brought the entree out, but she never returned. Then, at the end, I finished my meal and nobody was coming to my table to give me my ticket. I had other places to be so I had to walk to the register and ask for my bill. Another person at the bar, who I had never seen come to my table, prepared the bill so I could pay. This was a little bit awkward and just seemed like the employees were flustered due to the holiday or something and just forgot about me entirely. If I ever return, I will have to come back and try the steak on my next visit. It looked really good!
