If you're lucky, you'll get to meet her mom too! She's so friendly and kind! My favorite on their drink menu is the yin yang coffee - a spin off of a cafe sua da with their signature teddy bear coffee to prevent diluting the drinks with water! Such a cute and smart way to keep your coffee cold and still tasting like coffee down to the last sip! I also love their teas and most recently tried their mango tea as well! I have a ton of younger cousins who are always working with an allowance budget, so finding somewhere that can actually appease their appetite without breaking the bank is not easy--especially if you're feeding 10+ kids. MeetFresh's $15 giant desserts are truly the king of both budget and flavor. I cannot stress enough how much of a hit this place was the first time I recommended it to my cousins. Whether I'm with them or not, they always make a point to stop by whenever they drive into Houston from College Station. For that reason alone, MeetFresh holds a special place in my heart. It has given my large family a fun, worthwhile experience time and time again. On my most recent visit, we had a friend flying in from Chicago, so we brought him and his girlfriend here. We collectively ordered the Taro Mochi Milk Shaved Ice, and wow--if you're a fan of Chinese herbal flavors, this is the dessert for you. I usually stick with the mango or strawberry fruit dishes, but this one reminded me of Sâm Bổ Lượng, a Vietnamese chè/sweet soup. The flavors were earthy, comforting, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. I genuinely could not stop eating it until the very end, when all that was left was a puddle of melted ice and mixed-up dessert "schlop" -- LOL. Truly, thank you, MeetFresh, for being such a great place to gather, share, and enjoy dessert without needing a huge budget.

It is anything but in point of fact, it is in my estimation, a unique culinary experience. I don't write from the perspective of comparing this food to other Malaysian dishes that I've had in point of fact to the best of my recollection I don't think that I've ever had Malaysian cuisine. But if this restaurant is an example, I have missed a great deal. The food is very unique the servings are very gracious charitable. The prices are incredibly reasonable given the distinction of this particular cuisine and given the portions and quality of food that is served. The service is quite simple and the restaurant is actually quite small. However, I must tell you from A service perspective. It's truthfully amazing because the takeout business is extremely active. Not to mention the fact that the chef walks out and speaks to people will share anything that you want to know about Malaysian food and obviously from the quality of the food that I ate not only is his explanation thorough but my guess is his skills are incredible. As I said it is very small so it's difficult to Alpine about the ambience other than it was quite clean and given the number of whom I suspect were Malaysian people it's obviously quite popular within that community. So I take that to be a sign that this food is quite native in nature. I had a pork meal, which is only on Sundays. I spoke to the chef about it, and he explained that the preparation started one day in advance of actually serving the meal, so I understand why it is only served once a week. Although I must tell you because I lack familiarity it seemed to me that I would be hours and hours trying to replicate any of the dishes. All I can tell you is this if you are in an exploratory mood for a cuisine and have had or have not had Malaysian before I suspect this is a place to go. Quite informal, extremely fair pricing very generous portions great service very pleasant people and frankly it's a a family affair of what you will see many when you go. Quite a lovely experience.

This place is amazing. Let me first start off by saying its a great place for families, with lots of flavors and items to choose from you can get shaved ice to coffee to smoothies. They have board games, card games, etc located at the front of the store for customers to enjoy while they eat their shaved ice, which I think is a unique asset to this store. On top of that the girl who took my order was very welcoming and nice, she explained flavors to me and told me they did samples, as well as if I didn't like my flavor of choice (fuzzy navel) I could always get a new one. After ordering the wait was probably the biggest weakness and it took about 10 minutes for us to get our 4 snow-cones, but keep in mind it was decently busy. After getting my fuzzy navel snow-cone, and eating it for about 5 minutes, I felt that it got dry. I went up to ask for more syrup if that was possible and the girl was more than willing and apologized for the inconvenience. Even though the store is primarily teenagers, the kids seem to have their heads screwed on right, probably due to great management. I highly recommend this place for family and friends. read more

I recently visited Bahama Buck's and I have to say, it is one of the most fun places I have been to in a while! The decor is so lively and colorful, it feels like you are in a surf shop right on the beach. It instantly puts you in a good mood as soon as you walk in. What I love most about this place is the variety of options they have. You could come here every day for the rest of your life and never get bored because there is just so much to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for a classic shaved ice or a crazy combination of flavors with toppings, they have it all. The service is also great. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The only downside is that the place is a bit small inside, but I have never had difficulty finding a place to sit, except for once. It's a small price to pay for the amazing experience you get at Bahama Buck's. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Avoid Bahama Buck's - Katy at all costs - Horrible Service and Rude Staff! The experience at Bahama Buck's - Katy was terrible. Others should avoid it. Service was incredibly slow, despite multiple staff members being present. It appeared most staff members were not actively working, which contributed to frustratingly long wait times. One staff member cursed at a customer in front of children, demonstrating a shocking lack of professionalism. There was no capable manager in charge to ensure a smooth operation and proper customer service. Furthermore, only one snow cone machine was running, which amplified the slow service and added to the overall inefficiency of Bahama Buck's - Katy. This visit was a complete disappointment, and there are no plans to return. Bahama Buck's - Katy is not recommended based on this experience. The combination of slow service and rude staff makes it a place to avoid. Consider other options. read more
