Came to Bahama Breeze, in order to meet up with a friend that I haven't seen for 40 years. We dined at the bar and our server/bartender, Matthew, did a fantastic job throughout the entire meal. My Cocorita (Sauza Silver Tequila, cream of coconut, pineapple and lime juices, and actual delicious pieces of coconut) was AMAZING. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this drink, it was served in a HUGE glass and it hit the spot. We had Bean & Guac Tacos and the Jerk Chicken Pasta. Both entrees were delicious, flavorful, and filling. This was my first time sitting at Bahama Breeze's bar and I recommend doing the same. Especially, during Happy Hours (Monday-Friday: 4:00PM to 6:00PM and Sunday-Thursday: 9:00PM to 11:00PM).

First time here, walked in unexpectedly & had a drink. I usually drink wine but decided to get something a lil different this time, so the awesome bartender recommended a bahama mama so that's what I got. It was delish, love the music & the atmosphere here!

I came to this restaurant with another adult and two kids, and it was very accommodating in providing us a booth for the children. Our waiter was kind and patient. There were so many options to choose from of different Caribbean dishes (primarily Jamaican). I loved seeing a chain restaurant with Jamaican food and other popular Caribbean dishes. I ordered the Jamaican stuffed rice bowl with orange juice, which was super super delicious and flavorful with cilantro on top. I highly recommend ordering it . The cocktail list is super expensive. I look forward to coming back with friends for happy hour or a cocktail night. Please keep in mind that the games on the electronic menu have a fee that will be added onto your receipt. The ambience is family, friendly, and island themed

My favorite chain restaurant. I love the yuca cheese sticks & pineapple chicken. My boyfriend recently tried the jerk pasta and it was great. It inspired me to make my own at home. I never have leftovers sadly, we always eat everything!

Seafood Paella

Decent food. Great service. The dragonfruit margarita was very good. The meat was tender. No one complained. A decent place for a family meal. The paella was the only thing that didn't taste as great compared to local restaurants.

This is a review of the Bahama Breeze Happy Hour. Their Happy Hour runs from 4-6pm Mon-Fri and Sunday-Thursday from 9-11pm. This is a mind escape, as well as a restaurant. Colorful Bahama ambiance both outside and inside, half-price appetizers, 14 oz. draft beers $3, and their signature Bahama Mama tropical drink.$5. The Bahama Mama is made with coconut rum, banana liqueur, and pineapple & orange juice. They offer firecracker shrimp, coconut shrimp, crab with a 3 cheese dip, beef empanada's and crispy fritters to name some other appetizers offered at half-price. Half price drinks during Happy Hour include: Bahamaritas, Ultimate Pina Colada, Mojito Cubano and Pineapple Coconut Martinis. All these drinks are $5. Their Happy Hour can turn a bad day at the office around.

Stopped by after some Christmas exchanges/returns and it was a good experience! Service was good, food was delicious, the place was spacious. I had the beef empanadas for an appetizer, which were very flavorful with a great dipping sauce. The grilled chicken with cilantro crema as my main was very, very flavorful. Loved that it came with plantain chips!

I will say we had two servers one was showing the other how's to become a server and they were both very great. They were up beat and thought we knew what we wanted to order they definitely were able to convince me and my boyfriend to get the pepper shrimp appetizer . That tasted way better than the three cheese crab app we decided to get. The three cheese crab was still good but their recommendation was in fact better. The place is really nice the food is really good and i love how it is an infusion of all the Caribbean places. I've been here before and is where i got my favorite drink that I order literally everyday "Bahama mama" i decided to show my boyfriend this place and he absolutely loved it.

Bahama Breeze is always a good meal experience with cordial service, and an outstanding personality cook at the Wayne, NJ location. The pop & Caribbean music and pineapple garnish dishes gives a wonderful ambience. Also, the outdoor dining with the beautiful island landscape is my daughter's favorite....enjoy for the price is right!

Bahama Breeze is one of my favorite places to dine...staff is friendly and service is good. Ample parking outside. Inside, the decor makes one feel like being in the Caribbean. The menu is huge from so many options to choose from. Love the spinach dip appetizer...a must have every time I'm here. Other favorites are the shrimp quesadilla and lobster and shrimp pasta. Both are very good. Onion rings are delicious as well. Full bar and a plenty of drinks to choose from - whether in the mood for a magarita, colada, or any of the drink specials. Save room for dessert if you can...or take it to go. Love that one can make reservations online and no long wait than if you come to dine without a reservation.

When we want a quick bite after shopping this is our go to place. The jerk wings are always fantastic. Big wings with lots of flavor. For dinner Sandra had coconut shrimp that were tender and delicious. I had the jerk shrimp. It's a big dish so there is definitely leftovers for tomorrow. Drinks are always good and prices are reasonable. Service is friendly and always pleasant. Enjoy

Jerk Shrimp Pineapple Bowl
Grace S.

Good proportions and good service! The decor is very touristy/chain food adaptable. I liked the open kitchen concept at this location though. The food is fairly priced. I really enjoyed the pineapple bowl but I like their shrimp tacos better. The bowl lacked a lil bit of flavor but overall it was good. Very family friendly. 8/10

Not sure, but they do have what looks like a separate area that might accommodate that number. Call the restaurant, to be sure.

We started with drinks, several of us ordered the caipirinhas, and they were delicious. The salad bar offered a wide variety of options, though I do wish there had been more fruit selections. Service throughout the evening was excellent. Our party went with the unlimited churrasco experience, which was fun and interactive. You are given a coaster with red and green sides to signal when you want more or when to pause. The meat selection was impressive, with a steady flow of picanha (prime sirloin), filet mignon, ribeye, garlic steak, chicken, pork, lamb chops, and sausage, all well-seasoned and flavorful. My personal favorite was the pork belly, especially with the honey drizzle, such a perfect combination. My least favorite was probably the chicken, I thought it was a little bland and needed more seasoning. I do wish shrimp had been included in the churrasco rotation, but it is available to order separately. Our main server, Mary, along with the rest of the staff, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and efficient. To end the night, we tried several desserts: key lime pie, tres leches, brulee cheesecake, and molten lava cake, every single one was a hit. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I would definitely come back again.

Not only was the service…read moreinconsistent, but the selections from the salad bar was not fresh, and the seasoning on the meats were inconsistent, with some pieces either being completely unseasoned, and some being extremely salty where it was inedible (as evident on the filet mignon where you can literally see coarse of salt on its surface. We requested specific pieces from Angel and other waiters, where what we requested never came. The servers bringing the meats around also stopped coming to our table despite our mark displaying "Yes, Please" for over half an hour. At the end no additional meats ever made its round to us, so we decided to leave. This was by far the worse experience we ever had at Fogo de Chao. Most other times, we would be completely satisfied where were offered more than enough, and the selections would be fresh. In the photos below, you can see how unripe the pineapple and papaya both were, with the salad dishes being displayed almost empty without being refilled. We came at 5pm on a Tuesday so they really weren't that busy, with at most 6 tables. We mentioned the issue with the overly salty cuts of meat to Angel, but ultimately nothing was done about it. Overall, this experience unfortunately tarnished the great reputation of other Fogo de Chaos, which will make us second guess next time we think about having Brazilian steakhouse. This was doubly unfortunate because the restaurant itself looked so classy, warm, and welcoming, with so much potential of providing such an elegant dining experience...which sadly wasn't the case for my family. Thus, I cannot in good conscience recommend this branch of Fogo de Chao.. Thank you for reading and best of luck!

The whole experience brings out a sense of nostalgia for one's childhood at grandmother's house. Today, many scratch kitchens pride themselves on making something particular. Located at a strip mall off of Minnisink Road in Totowa, my partner and I decided on dinner at Robert's Scratch Kitchen for some of us as first-timer. The reservation was easily made via OpenTable. Upon arrival at this cozy, inviting, and relaxed BYOB establishment, we were greeted by the owner, Robert, and got a table immediately by the window. The menu featured a variety of Italian, seafood, steak, pork, and veal dishes that change with the seasons, including a full gluten-free option catered especially to those with celiac. Their usage of an iPad shows the rotated specials was a novel idea. For starters, we decided on the Artichoke Hearts and Apple Salad. Our main meal consisted of Linguini and Clams as well as Eggplant Parmesan. The food was constantly fresh and prepared exactly how we had ordered it. The portions were healthy portions. The price was comparable to the area. The staff was attentive and wanted to ensure that we were happy. Our server was Juan. We had a wonderful culinary experience.

I ordered the filet mignon, and the meat itself was very tender and delicious. The sauce, however, tasted a bit like packaged consommé and could definitely be improved to match the quality of the steak. My wife ordered the gnocchi, and they were very good. For dessert, we had the lava cake, which unfortunately was a little dry. Overall, the service was very good, and the experience was enjoyable. I'd give this place 4 stars.

I've been coming to this red lobster since I was a kid. Back when Kay was the hostess (god bless…read moreher). I stopped at this location three times this year and it's been a hard decline. The most recent visit I had yesterday has been by far the worst experience I've ever had at this restaurant. Two out of the three times I ordered the sirloin. Once medium and the other time medium well. Both times the steak came out rare. The first time I let it slide but the second time I had to say something to my server. Luckily the second time I had Anthony as my server, I've had him numerous of times in the past and he's always done a great job of accommodating. But my third visit was absolutely terrible. I went with my girlfriend for dinner Sunday night at around 7:30-8:00. There were probably 5 or 6 tables being served throughout the entire time we were there. After we get our appetizers I order the soy salmon and our waiter said it's not available because it's the weekend. This wasn't a dinner special or one of the specials from Monday-Friday, this was a regular dish. (I've never heard of a seafood restaurant that doesn't serve salmon weekend or not.) Completely confused about it I told our waiter I'll order later. After we finish our appetizers our waiter is nowhere to be seen. Had previously asked him for a water, but I had to remind him 20 minutes later when he was passing by our table. After about 25 minutes after that my girlfriend's order comes out and the waiter didn't even bother to ask what I wanted and just ran off. At this point I just wanted to get out of there. We had dirty plates still on the table from our appetizers and empty glasses. Not a single other server or busser came to pick up the stuff off the table. I've worked in the restaurant business before and that is completely unacceptable to leave anything dirty on the table while food is being served. By the time my girlfriend finished her food it was 9:30pm and it was just us and another table with at least 6 other servers talking and swearing around the dining room. Legit probably the most ghetto thing I witnessed at a restaurant. Payed the check and left at 10:00 right as the restaurant closed. We spent nearly 2.5 hours in a dead restaurant just to not have dinner. Had to stop next door to the Wendy's to actually get something to eat. This place sucks and is a horrendous excuse for a restaurant. Red lobster was far better when it was owned by Darden and had chefs and staff who genuinely cared about service. Please don't bother with this place and buy from a supermarket. Guarantee you it will taste better and not take as long to actually be served. It makes sense that there aren't too many of these restaurants around anymore. This experience is a big reason why.
