I'd like to start by saying that I'm beyond grateful that this is one of the few selections open during the trying times we're experiencing. This place has a real restaurant feel despite complying with all of the COVID guidelines, and while the menu is limited everything was still top tier. A group and I came around 10pm, we were able to take advantage of the Happy Hour menu which featured half price apps and drinks. In my opinion, this is the best time to go to get the best bang for your buck. 2 rounds of drinks and a table full of appetizers for roughly $80. The hostess and our waiter, Matt, were delightful as well as the other servers who were there. The food came out at the perfect rate and the drinks were tasty. Generally, when you're snagging a deal that good, nothing ever goes that smoothly and I was genuinely impressed. Came here to eat for a going away dinner for our delighted friend and a birthday that we all weren't going to be able to celebrate so we did all in one. We had a great host, was on top of everything and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. Would definitely recommend asking for Ebony to serve you in my opinion because she didn't mess up not once, it's understandable to mess up but it's a plus when you know how to keep your customers alert of everything so we do appreciate her for that. I ordered the coconut shrimp with a pina colada and of course it was the non virgin one. It was good, once you get to the bottom you taste all the rum as if your taking a shot. The decor, the food and the atmosphere will make you feel like you're on vacation. My waiter tonight was Jacob and he was great! I will ask to be seated in his section next time! The MANGO MOJITO (with or without the jalapeño) is my absolute favorite!!! I can sit and drink 3 of them, they're not too sweet. I love all their flavored ice drinks. So refreshing. But that mango mojito though The better restaurants out of the casual dining. I got tilipia with the tequila mango pineapple salsa, and my boyfriend got the coconut shrimp tacos. They were delicious and the portions were large but not too overwhelming (usually loses flavor with size). I like that the coleslaw is lighter. It's jerked chicken? It's full of flavors! No seasoning on pasta and "cream sauce" was soupy. Harbenero Wings were good, hubby liked them. They did have a decent flavor, spicy, though not as crispy as I like. Firecracker shrimp were just fried shrimp and mayo on the side. It was good but there wasn't anything to remark about. Unimpressive. Drinks were good, I'd come back for that surely. They had a great variety and believe that's probably why people come here. Great mixed drinks selection though not surprised, given the name. Dessert was gross. For me. Ordered a pineapple creme brulee and out came some thick cream that tasted like marshmallow fluff and some other thing combined. The best part of the dessert was the actual pineapple pieces it came with. Hubby had a great experience by ordering the banana bread supreme. It was delicious. Our server was gracious enough to remove that pineapple fluff from the bill. Overall, 3 stars was a stretch. This place was nothing short of PHENOMENAL! It was my husband and I's first time coming, and they did not disappoint! From the delicious jerk chicken wings, to the margarita flight that we tried (the tequila hibiscus drink is AMAZING), to the the entrees?! I ordered the stuffed tostones with rice and beans, and my husband ordered the Jamaican jerk chicken pasta. Let me tell you... they put this green mayo-like sauce on the tostones and i legit want to buy a bottle of it!! We'll definitely go back to try other items on the menu, but based off of our first experience, we can eat that every single time with no regrets. I would always avoid coming here prior because I felt like the food wasn't that great previously and the atmosphere was dull but I'm starting to think I was referring to another resturant. We came here on a Friday night, and since it is located near the mall, the resturant was crowded. There was maybe a 15-20 min wait-apparently we weren't the only ones celebrating a birthday. However, the wait didn't seem too long since our complete party didn't arrive on time. Once seated, our waiter was attentive in making sure we had our drinks and orders placed. He also was very patient in that some of the party did not know what they wanted, but wanted him to stay while they figured it out lol. We ordered pretty much everything from empanadas, wings, spinach/artichoke dip to tostones and let me tell you- EVERYTHING TASTED AMAZING! I even told the waiter it was my brothers birthday and although there was a charge associated with a 'birthday slice' he surprised my brother with a slice at no charge. Overall, I was HIGHLY IMPRESSED with my visit there. The staff was friendly, professional and attentive. The food was great and my brother was happy. Margarita Day!!! Place was packed and they had a DJ. Definitely a younger crowd. Bar was about 3-4 ppl deep waiting to be served only to bartenders. Restaurant was busting at the seams. We made outlets way to a corner, shared one seat and waiting roughly 20 mins for a drink. Special of the night was the pre mixed classic Margarita!! First one was good but the second one was just straight up sour mix. We tried to return them instead had add club soda . We ordered the stuffed yuca balls with cheese. They were interesting but not a favorite, glad we tried them. Must was pretty good, we stayed for a minute. Noticed how people were still pouring in. I'm not changing my star rating (love their food and service is usually good) but wanted to update with a warning I recently placed an order for pickup. I paid via credit card. I signed my receipt and did not leave any tip since I didn't dine in and it wasn't a delivery. Upon reviewing my account, several days later, I noticed a discrepancy. The amount posted to my account was higher than the check amount! Not much, but ANYTHING is dishonest! I disputed with my CC company and the dispute was resolved in my favor. I hope that the manager found out who was responsible. From now on I will be double checking my Bahama Breeze transactions. This was out first time at this location. Have visited the Paramus location several times. Great location as it it in the Wagne shopping mall; shop and grab dinner afterwards. As we walked in there was no host or hostess to greet us. We waited for about three minutes before walking to the bar to alert them; there were five of us, cannot miss us standing there but I guess they did, eventhough waiters and waitresses were working and passing us by. For drinks I had the bahamarita. Which is mango, kiwi and regular frozen margarita layered with a shot of rum on the side. It was ok, tasted like it was lacking on the liquor. I had the seafood paella. It had mussels, baby scallops, shrimps, pieces of cod, chicken and chorizo. It was good; not too salty and rice was well cooked. The jerk chicken was really good. I don't know how they did it but it was the most juicy baked chicken I have ever had. The sides were good too. The jerk chicken pasta was good but the jerk seasoning was a lacking. I had the chocolate tornado which is chocolate cake with chocolate mousse with whipped cream and chopped almonds sitting in a white chocolate sauce. Highly recommended. First time here was okay, our servers attitude was very dry, and she took forever to check back on us. Today we decided to give Bahama Breeze a second opportunity. It started off better with Javier, he was very friendly, and quick with bring our drinks out. Yet, when we ordered our appetizers they came after our meals. I'm aware people are still training, but when cleaning up the dining room is more important than the customers, it gives a bad impression to what they really want, which in this case it's going home.
