Great dinner at Sear House Grill in Little Falls. You can't best this upscale, swanky, classic Italian restaurant for a memorable meal. From their vibrant, classy bar to their comfortable dining area you just can't beat the ambiance of this place. Also, thanks to the wait staff for the very friendly, welcoming, and highly attentive service. And not to forget my meal; my rib filet mignon was perfectly prepared, mouth waveringly delicious, tender, juicy and flavorful. Thanks for the invite from my host who prefers to stay off social media.

If you're looking for a great place for lunch I recommend coming here. We have been here before for dinner but the lunch menu and service is amazing. We tried the pre-fixe lunch menu and it was excellent. The filet mignon was delicious so well seasoned and melted like butter. The branzino was spicy enough and so good. The quality and experience is worth it. It's beautifully decorated which lends to a relaxing atmosphere. There is tons of parking so no excuses.

A very elegant and fine dining experience. The restaurant and bar has a NYC feel that you can now get in NJ (at NYC prices hah) but overall it was a great experience. Started with an old fashioned as we looked through their extensive menu. Ended up trying French onion soup, lobster bisque, calamari, grilled octopus for appetizers. The calamari was outstanding and the soups were really good too. Lotta cheese on the soup but well done. The octopus I enjoyed but definitely a little bit more fishy tasting than the calamari. For entrees, I had the Tomahawk for two, sirloin, scallops, shrimp scampi and seafood linguine (came with red sauce btw). Everything was really good, the steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned very very well. Couldn't complain and honestly the sirloin really surprised me compared to the tomahawk. Cant go wrong with either one. There's valet (which I found out after is optional), or you can park yourself. Make reservations and enjoy yourself

I've been to Sear before but my latest experience was disappointing to say the least. We started with the seafood tower for two. It looked wonderful but as we began to eat, we noticed all of the shrimp were filthy inside. I was shocked that a restaurant with a raw bar would serve dirty shrimp, especially in a platter that costs almost 100 dollars. We alerted the waiter who apologized and said they would replace the shrimp. Round two of the shrimp were served to us and they were still filthy. At this point I was so turned off by the whole thing. They brought us round three which were finally clean but tasted horrendous. So tough they were barely edible. The real fun part of this whole experience was I overheard the waiter tell someone who seemed to be the manager about our issue and the manager's response was "so? They liked the other stuff." Didn't even apologize or acknowledge, just walked away. The rest of the meal was great however I will not be returning. This experience soured the whole restaurant for me.

And, considering the quality, the value is pretty decent as well. A few recommendations. Prime rib, available only on Monday is outstanding. NY Strips and Rib Eye, are always a solid choice. The Steak Sandwich is absolutely incredible, trust me. Plus, their Pork Chop is amazing when its available. My only negative is that the dress code has become lax over time. I'm not a fancy guy. But for the first several years there was an upscale vibe and guests dressed appropriately which made the experience feel premium. Now it isn't all that uncommon to see guests wearing worn out tee shirts, sweat shirts, flip flops, cutoffs, etc. Nothing crazy, but a collard shirt and no flip flop code would be a fair. With all that said, I love this place and I think you will as well. Give it a try.

There's bar seating if you want to catch a game, along with plenty of seating throughout the restaurant. Reservations are recommended, but if you stop in, the staff truly makes an effort to accommodate you -- which is always a plus. I ordered the filet mignon burger with sliced tenderloin, caramelized onions, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and horseradish mayo. The photos don't do it justice. It was perfectly prepared, incredibly flavorful, and absolutely delicious -- I'm still thinking about it. Our server was fantastic: super friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. If you're looking for a great steakhouse in the area, I highly recommend Prime 94. You won't be disappointed.

There was a high top available on other side of bar in main dining area so I asked if we could sit there and was told no that it was reserved. Ok. Our server who took quite some time to come over was also one of the bar tenders. He took our drink order and left. It took at least 20 minutes to get our drinks. They were packed so we get the wait time but maybe bring in a few extra servers to accommodate the packed house. For appetizers we had the mussels which had good flavor but was absolutely cold. Why? We also shared a salad which was average at best with a handful of greens and 2 fried goat cheese balls. For dinner Sandra had filet mignon that lacked any kind of flavor at all. It was tender but flavorless. I had the cowboy steak that was cooked perfectly to black and blue the way I like it but the seasoning was absolutely overpowering. It was so salty that it actually burned my mouth. Absolutely terrible. Took 2 bites and sent it back. Waiter was no where to be found so I actually had to go to bar and ask for him. He didn't come as another woman came and took it away. At $72.00 it really should be a bigger and better cut of meat and throw the seasoning in the garbage. Come on. We also shared brussel sprouts that were actually good. Our server was definitely a pleasant person but unfortunately he was so overwhelmed with the bar and servicing the tables he couldn't keep up so we just had to be patient. Everything took forever. We didn't get another drink because by the time he came back over we were done. Bus person came over and cleared the table and at that time we asked him to tell server we wanted the check. 25 minutes later I had to go to the bar to get the check. Come on. Again I understand it's a giant day for people to eat out so why not bring in extra help. This is all on management. The prices and quality just don't add up to me. It's definitely a one and done for us.

We started with drinks, several of us ordered the caipirinhas, and they were delicious. The salad bar offered a wide variety of options, though I do wish there had been more fruit selections. Service throughout the evening was excellent. Our party went with the unlimited churrasco experience, which was fun and interactive. You are given a coaster with red and green sides to signal when you want more or when to pause. The meat selection was impressive, with a steady flow of picanha (prime sirloin), filet mignon, ribeye, garlic steak, chicken, pork, lamb chops, and sausage, all well-seasoned and flavorful. My personal favorite was the pork belly, especially with the honey drizzle, such a perfect combination. My least favorite was probably the chicken, I thought it was a little bland and needed more seasoning. I do wish shrimp had been included in the churrasco rotation, but it is available to order separately. Our main server, Mary, along with the rest of the staff, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and efficient. To end the night, we tried several desserts: key lime pie, tres leches, brulee cheesecake, and molten lava cake, every single one was a hit. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I would definitely come back again.

Unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing due to poor service. Our server, a shorter male who I believe was named Ricardo, took our order. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese and yuca fries. After waiting 25 minutes, I asked a staff member serving steak to check on the order, and he agreed. After 45 minutes, I followed up again with another staff member, a woman with reddish hair in a ponytail, and asked her to check with the kitchen. After waiting over an hour with no update, when she passed back, I informed her that I no longer wanted the food, and she acknowledged my request. Throughout this entire time, our server never once checked in on us. When he finally came to the table, I confirmed that my order had been canceled, and he said yes. He then proceeded to tell us that cooking takes time and that we needed to be patient. I dine out regularly and understand reasonable wait times, but the lack of communication and follow-up was unacceptable. The comment made by our server felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially given the circumstances. Overall, this experience did not meet expectations, and I will likely just stick to New York in the future.

Grilled Chicken) $20 , Side Greek Salad $9 and Tavern Burger (Subst.Cheddar Cheese ) w/ fried onion rings $19. When the entrées came out, the burger buns were branded with "Tavern 292". A very nice touch! I really enjoyed the West Coast grilled chicken. Loved the avocado and pepper jack cheese on the chicken! The side Greek salad was just fair. My bf really enjoyed the Tavern burger. However, a few of the fried onion rings were slightly overcooked and dry. The food was very plentiful. I ended up taking half the grilled chicken sandwich home. In addition, we ordered two glasses Caymus Cabernet. Food was good. Customer service was excellent. I only saw two single stall restrooms. The ladies room was very clean. However, it was my first time at Tavern 292. Possibly, there could've been additional in another area. The restaurant has a large parking lot.
