For a first time, I will have to go back when they get it together . They had a limited menu for the night which is understandable seeing as though they're closing , it was also packed in there. The food was filling, wasn't bad. Sad they didn't have all the menu items for me to try. Waiter was coo! He was a vibe. It was also 5$ margarita Monday. We had two tables and separate waiters , the other table didn't get attention at all or told about the margarita special. What really got me was I asked the waiter to sing happy bday or do anything really and he said he could try , proceeded to ask the other waiter and the other waiter stated he didn't want to ruin anyone's birthday with singing ... idk for me it's like y'all could've did SOMETHING . Anything . I may visit a different location, this one was a little rough and the way everyone stood in the back instead of checking on tables was very telling . Hope to have a better experience before they close !

We stop here for a quick drink, our bartender Ian was wonderful! He served us promptly and was very kind - we felt welcome even though we weren't planning on grabbing food. He embodied the restaurant atmosphere - relaxed and happy, while still being an attentive tender and promptly getting our drinks. We are looking forward to coming back, and hope we'll be under his service again!

The food here is always amazing, not sure I've had a problem here before. I always love coming back, the decor is so one of a kind. I love feeling like I'm on a vacation! Service was great & swift! We never waited to long for our food and we always got whatever we requested. We went on $2.22 days and that was amazing!

Went to Bahama Breeze a few weeks ago and loved it! The Ambiance gives such great island vibes and the food was great. The service however needs a little help. My friend and I just sat there and sat there and our waitress just kept coming by looking at us but not stopping to see if we needed anything

I usually enjoy their lunch combos. Today I decided to get the Firecracker Shrimp and a side salad to go but I'm quite disappointed with the Shrimp. It's a bit hard/over-fried and salty.

Great food with large portions, great server and service. Will be back. We got there at noonish and this was on the special menu

Was in Raleigh and this place came up as a popular spot for the locals. The vibe was def of the Bahamas! Some employees were wearing fun camp shirts and the decor was vibrant and you could almost hear the waves crashing! We were greeted by Dejah who was fun and full of good suggestions! I ordered the Bahamarita with the spiked cactus juice shot on the side! They were both delicious! For an appetizer, we ordered the empanadas! They were flaky on the outside and filled with flavorful beef on the inside. They were served with sour cream and a mango salsa. SOOOOOOO good! The next time I'm in Raleigh, I will definitely make another stop in to Bahama Breeze!

They were extremely busy the prior night (seating was a 5 hour wait time) so we went on a Saturday evening and wait time was an hour and 30 mins. They seated us with a server who did not want to serve us because she was ready to go but she did serve us after a little back and forth with the waiter. However because of that we ordered an appetizer and our food. We received our food and drinks first. The food was flavorful and the atmosphere was really nice, kind of cold if I may add. The server rarely came back and check on us, ran out of drinks a few times so we just decided to take it to go, lost interest. The bill was handed with the appetizer that never came out but when she went back to the kitchen it just was sitting there saying "hi, you forgot me" when you have a server that is ready to go and do not want to serve customer anymore please send them home, their performance speaks for itself.

My family and I visited this restaurant on January 25, 2024 during happy hour. There were nine of us so our server put two tables together to accommodate us. This was my first time being there during happy hour. I was intrigued by their special of half off all appetizers during happy hour, so I ordered a few appetizers to try them out along with some Jerk Chicken Wings. Our food came out within a decent timeframe; however, my mother's order was missing. The server apparently did not write down my mom's order so she had to wait a while for her food while everyone had their food and had began to eat. The food was tasty, and the portions were okay. The crab and cheese dip was flavorful, and you can actually taste the crab meat. The yuca cheese sticks were crispy and enjoyable; I enjoyed the buffalo type sauce with it better than the ranch type sauce. The jerk wings were also pretty good. Not as I expected but they were still good; I was not a fan of the sauce that came with the jerk wings as it was a little powdery tasting to me. I am from the islands so for me this dish wasn't authentic, but it tasted well. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the ability to spend a little time together.

Great time on $2.22 margarita day. I left boozy with one special margarita and the flight. The steak was seasoned so well and cooked how I wanted it. Skirt steak is easy to overbook. This was delicious. I hadn't been to Bahama Breeze in probably over a decade. Decent food. I wanted some crab dip a little later and that were out. So I ordered the shrimp appetizer. I thought it would be nicely sized shrimp. Definitely small shrimp. Okay flavor.

Food was absolutely amazing tasting, arrived quickly and portions were plentiful. Tuna Tostada Stack was delicious and Coconut Shrimp were nice and crunchy with an amazing sauce. Salmon and Jerk Chicken Pineapple bowl were tasty and delightful as well. Atmosphere was good. Normal raleigh area restaurant. Food service was quick but waitress was lacking the common sense to give freshly seated folks more than 30 seconds with the menu before pressing them to place their entire order, provide silverware, serve iced tea with more than two cubes of ice and follow up with the bar for TWO stray Mohitos...only one of which I received. Service is subjective so don't let our bad server experience deter you from enjoying this wonderful food!

Bahama breeze is a staple in Raleigh. I've been going for years. My most recent visit was a 10/ 10. We met for a quick girls night with drinks and appetizers. We ordered the ultimate pineapple, and really didn't care for it however, the manager Mathew was very helpful and accommodating and switched our drinks and the second drink the cloud nine was much better. They have made some changes to their menu as well as happy hour items. But all in all I really enjoy Bahama breeze and it's beautiful inside.

Nevertheless, my burger and tots were decent and suffice enough as a meal I shared with my daughter before the show. I did get a margarita and asked for it to be prepared a certain way but it didn't match the vibe of Level 7. Pre-made not crafted. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile and professionalism. Our table was not yet ready as we had arrived a little early, and the others had not yet arrived, so we waited in the lobby area. Once our table was ready, the server escorted us to the table. While she was escorting us, one of the ladies slipped and fell on the floor. None of the staff came to her aid, but someone did go and get the manager, Brandon. The manager stopped by to check on the person that fell after we got to the table. After we had someone wipe up the crumbs that were on our bench, we ordered a variety of dishes and drinks and enjoyed each other's company. Our server, Cordo (sp?), took care of us and answered any questions that we had about our meal. Everyone enjoyed their food. All dishes were proportionate for the cost. I had the Stir Chopped Seafood which was flavorful, refreshing, and light on the stomach. Besides the unfortunate fall at the start of our visit, we still managed to salvage our celebration.

We were greeted by a friendly hostess and the staff throughout the evening was welcoming and professional. The food truly stood out. Everything was flavorful, well-portioned, and thoughtfully put together. Highly recommend the broiled oysters, lobster crab cake, crab bisque, center-cut filet, and ahi tuna -- all were delicious. Even better, everything came out quickly and at the perfect temperature. Daniel was our server and he was fantastic -- very attentive, personable, and kept things flowing smoothly without being intrusive. The atmosphere does lean toward the louder side, so it's probably not the best spot if you're looking for a super intimate or quiet evening. One small hiccup: our reservation was initially for a standard table, but we were first directed to a high-top. After clarifying the reservation details, the hostess did correct it and seated us appropriately. Our booth table itself was clean, but the bench seating and the floor underneath could use a bit more attention. There was a piece of bread under the table (from a crab bisque -- we recognized it because we ordered one) that had been dropped and crushed, which likely hadn't been noticed during turnover. Overall, the food and service were strong enough that we'd definitely return -- just hoping for a bit more consistency on seating and table-area cleanliness next time.
