Let me start off by saying the drinks were delicious. Hit the spot and very good. However, I made the grave mistake of ordering their oxtail entree. Not a good idea. It did not taste good at all. Not like it should at least. I wasn't pleased. The server did take my plate back and bring me the chicken quesadilla instead. The ambience? Talkative but peaceful at the same time. A lovely experience. read more

I really enjoyed coming here. Great location right off the highway. It really has a nice decor and good vibe coming from staff. I got the ultimate margarita which comes with a corona super cool! We also tried the Jamaican chicken wings which were grilled with jerk sauce on the side. The sauce tasted very authentic and spicy just like i like it! The wings were great with or without sauce I saw a variety of things I would like to try including lobster mac & cheese. The staff was very friendly and welcoming my Server was great and the music was great. Also has outdoor seating so you know I'll be back. Two margaritas and the wings came up to $40 which was very pricey but still good. read more

Good drinks. My first time trying and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I won't be going back u less it's just for happy hour. My salsa was fresh but I didn't like it. My waitress also didn't check on me much. Idk if it's because she didn't think I would tip or she was just busy however I'm a server as well so this didn't make my experience any better. Plus my server had been working there for like 5 years. read more

Came here for a lunch date recently and had a very nice afternoon. I had really good salmon on a trip to New Orleans recently. I had never had salmon before so I would consider myself not really liking salmon but the taste would not leave my mouth after New Orleans! I tried the salmon here on my date and was pleasantly surprised! My cravings for this dish was completely satisfied. I had the Oscar style salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was very tasty!! I think this will be my go to dish when I visit again...soon!! Our waitress Jay was really nice and made great suggestions! She was also very attentive! Thank you Jay and Bahama Breeze see ya soon!! read more

The food is great and the service is great!! I've always had positive experiences at Bahama Breeze and will continue to visit.

Man do i love, LOVEEEE, Baham Breeze. Whew, Bahama Breeze is one of my favorite go-to restaurants for any occasion, whether it be right after a long day of work, to grab a bite with friends, or chow down for half off appetizers after 10 PM. They have a pretty big parking lot, but it gets very, very crowded at night and on weekends. You can expect yourselves to either get seated immediately on a not so busy weekday evening or wait hours on a very busy weekend evening. But even if you do wait, it is totally worth the wait because the food is BOMB.COM. The serving size for their plates are pretty pricey, but worth the amount they give you. My favorites include the jerk chicken pasta, the shrimp linguine, and the buttermilk fried chicken breast. Their food is so pleasing to the soul and fills your appetite pretty quickly. Their service also depends on the time you go. If you go on a weekday you will get pretty attentive service compared to a packed weekend where you will probably see multiple servers throughout your meal. Other than that, Bahama Breeze is a go to restaurant if you're going out with a couple of friends and in the mood for some really great quality Jamaican styled food. Service: 4/5 Food: 5/5 Wait: 4/5 Price: 3.5/5 (+.5 for half off appetizers after 10PM Sunday-Thursday) read more

Food was good. Beef empanadas were awesome with a mango salsa. I had the jerk chicken sandwich and my wife had the jerk chicken pasta. My wife said that the pasta was bland and surprisingly, the jerk chicken sandwich didn't he a lot of flavor. When I think of jerk chicken, usually it has a ton of spice and flavor. read more

I went here with a friend I would really recommend the Jerk Chicken Pasta, it's amazing. It tastes like it was made with a lot of love. The Frozen Bahamarita is very tasty. The food is good. Cool atmosphere but whatever you do not order an appetizer at the same time as your meal. The staff seem not to understand that appetizer comes first and then the meal. I had to eat my meal cold in order to enjoy the app. Disappointing! read more

I really liked the food that we ordered here, which was the seafood Paella and and the Skirt Steak Churrasco. However the server was really slow, and it took like 10 minutes for him to reappear to let him know we found a fruit fly in my water which I almost swallowed and I could not continue eating. The waiter did not apologize and we had to ask for the manager and he began speculating about the source of the fruit fly and saying it came from outside. Normally managers offer a discount or a dessert but this manager did not until my partner asked. Really poor customer service. read more

Disclaimer!!!!!!! This review is not about the food, atmosphere, or price, because we never got seated. Its about their rude management and inability to seat large parties. For a friend's birthday party, 20 of my peers met up at Bahama Breeze for a surprise celebration. I was the first one to show up. I approached the hostess and asked if there was a call-in or reservation for a party of 20 under the name "insert name here" (Sorry, no specific names). The hostess says, "Sorry, we don't take call-ins or reservations for that large of a party, but I can put down your name right now. You should be seating in 45 mins." After an HOUR, we were told that we will be seated in 30 mins because they gave our table away. The hostess said, "Sorry, we had to give your table away to a party of 20 that called ahead and left their name." After ANOTHER hour and a ruined surprise birthday dinner, we were still not seated and I asked to speak to the manager. First of all, the manager approached me with a look of frustration and asked, "What's the problem?" I explain our situation and said that we we have been waiting for over 2 hours and the table that was set was given away to another large party that had called ahead, BUT we were told that they didn't take any call-ins or reservations for large parties. The manager, who I'm pretty sure had a short-man complex and respect issues cause he was balding, said, "Call-ins have priority over walk-in parties. It is not our fault that you did not call ahead." NO APOLOGY!!!!!! He could have at least pretended that he cared!!! My group no longer wanted to give the Bahama Breeze any business so we went to a different restaurant. Bahama Breeze, you need to work on your management. Its not that hard to seat a large party WITHIN TWO HOUR!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I ordered the Jerk chicken to go for lunch. When I arrived no one was at the to go counter for me to pay. I had to wait. Finally a cashier came and I was able to pay for the meal. I was parked in the to go area outside. There was a door. A floor light skin girl with an updo was extremely rude and unprofessional. She had a headphone on her head. She also was standing by the hostage station doing nothing. She yelled at me across the floor. You can not go through that exit. I asked her why she was yelling when I clearly I had to go back through the front door since I the door by the to go parking area was apparently an emergency door. She continued to say why you yell at me. I didn't yell at her at all. I simply asked her why she was yelling at me. Then she started moving her head with an extremely, rude nasty attitude. She definitely wanted to start an argument and a scene in front of all of the customers. This was extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. I left. When I arrived back to my office the jerk chicken wings were burnt. No side like in the picture. I ordered a side of string beans and there were only a few. All of the food was extremely cold. THIS WAS THE WORST Experience I have ever had at a restaurant. ALMOST the entire staff was blacks and Mexicans. That's not a terrible thing, but if you don't want to work at a restaurant, then there are a ton of others who would love to work there with a great attitude and a smile. I WILL NEVER PATRONAGE THIS BUSINESS AGAIN! $18 down the drain for HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOOD!!!! read more

The waiter and food was pretty good but it's just like any Bahama Breeze. The difference is the food is well seasoned at least

The food was great. Chowder, jerk wings, and taste of Jamaica all were very tasty. Good was brought out quickly. **We sat at bar, which was a mistake, and were waited on by the white, male bartender on Dec 29. He was awful. We ordered our first and only drinks when we first sat down. We had to ask for water after 10 minutes there. We then ate for over 25 minutes and he never came back to refill water or take more drink orders. He should take some lessons from the folks who brought our food out. By the way there were only 7 people sitting at the bar and the other bartender was making drink for the rest of the restaurant. I hear McDonalds is hiring! read more

Say what you will about chain restaurants, but I don't have anything against them - particularly 'Bahama Breeze' - which in my opinion is one of the better ones. Bahama Breeze is a bit schizophrenic in theme and concept; the decor is "island" themed and while there are a few mildly influenced Caribbean dishes, the menu is a wide mix of Tex-Mex, seafood, bar fare, and even a bit of Asian fusion thrown in there. Which really didn't bother me much, especially since I quite enjoyed the food we had. For an appetizer, we had the 'Ahi Tuna Stack' ("sushi grade ahi tuna marinated in Ponzu sauce with pickled cucumber and pineapple salsa, stacked between crispy wontons"); it was a pretty small serving, definitely only enough for one, but it was tasty. I love ahi tuna, it's hard for me to resist, if it's on the menu, chances are I'll have it. I really enjoyed the concept of the app, the wontons, ahi tuna, and pineapple salsa is a great combination. The ahi tuna wasn't the best I've ever had - it wasn't all that fresh tasting - but by no means was it the worst. For my entree I had the 'Grilled Chicken with Cilantro Crema' (a filet of chicken with " hand-mashed potatoes and roasted corn topped with a blend of three melted cheeses drizzled with cilantro-crema sauce"); the mashed potatoes were solid - it came with two "bunny ears" of fried plantains - yums! The chicken was well cooked and seasoned - I really liked the flavors. The cilantro-crema sauce came on the side in a sauce bowl rather than "drizzled" on the other components, and it was delicious. I'd never even heard of 'cilantro crema' before, but after having this entree, I crave it on a regular basis. Everyone at the table also really enjoyed it, using bits of it as dip/condiment. The service was excellent, they handled our party of eight very smoothly and efficiently. Our servers were friendly, patient, and personable, all of our dishes/appetizers/drinks arrived almost simultaneously. It gets pretty crowded on the evenings - especially on the weekend - if you're planning to dine here, call ahead for a shorter wait. read more

When we first walked in, it looked busy but we got sat immediately. :) which made me really happy! But our server on the other hand was not attentive at all. As an appetizer we got the coconut shrimp (6pcs), it was really good!!! And not too coconutty. The sauce tasted somewhat like honey-mustard (which is my favorite sauce ) and tangy. I ordered the lobster and shrimp pasta but changed the original noodles to the bow-ties. I would say that I got a pretty big portion with the different noodles He got the jerk-chicken pasta. The chicken was very tender and soft! The sauce was really rich and creamy. Later we decided to get a desert, there were a few choices and we chose the banana almond nut bread with ice cream and fresh bananas. The bread was soft and not dry at all. I really liked the almond nuts!! I will be coming back! read more

I don't go to a lot of "chain restaurants" but I was with a large group of 30 and Bahama Breeze was conveniently located to the hotel where we were all staying. The place was packed but we called ahead and we still had to wait about 45 mins for our tables. Apparently, they do not take reservations only call aheads, which cuts down your waiting time. Because of our large party we had numerous wait staff and there is no way I would expect the orders to come out all at once. With that being said, the food delivery from what I could tell was ok. Some definitely waited longer than others and for those people I'm sure it was a longer wait than they cared for. My order, which by the way was pretty simple, was water and pulled pork with tostones. I had to wait so long for my water that I had to remind them I asked for water. You would think they would bring the waters over first since they don't have to place an order and wait for it to be made by the bartender. Not the case though, drinks (many of them) were brought over way before I got my water. As far as my food delivery, well that came out faster than other orders but, it wasn't made the way I ordered it and the dish was not cooking hot. In fact, it was bordering on being cold. I don't know about you, but IMHO, tostones do not taste nearly as good cold as they do hot! The pulled pork was nothing to talk about and I would not order that dish again. Some of what others ordered that either I tasted or they told me their opinions. The coconut shrimp, firecracker shrimp and onion rings were all good enough to order again if I were to come back. The Chicken Cilantro I was told was ok, as was the Shrimp and Grits. For the jerk chicken with sweet potatoes and green beans - it was interesting that the person who ordered and ate this said the jerk chicken was not anything special, sweet potato was good and the green beans were excellent. So while I did not go around and ask everyone in the party their opinions, my summary of this experience is that the food is at best average. The wait staff tried hard but they still have to wait on the kitchen and bar to fulfill the orders and wait time for drinks and food to be delivered wasn't the fastest. Bottom line, the food and service did not justify our 45 min wait time but I'm not sure I would come back even without having to wait. read more

Great atmosphere , food was decent. Very big , would love to go back just for drinks !

I love this place!! Plenty of patio seating, live music and complimentary valet! the staff is very pleasant and attentive. The drinks are very weak (Reason for 4 stars). I have NEVER tasted alcohol in any mixed drink that I've ordered, but they are good. I always order the Island Hopper for my meal. It's an appetizer but theres so much food I just get it for my main course. It comes with Jerk wings, Coconut Shrimp, onion rings, and conch fritters. Everything is AMAZING! And the portions are large enough to share whatever you order. Make better drinks and I will give this 5 stars! read more

Bahama Breeze is the GA version of Baby A's. The server was friendly, however, he wasn't the best. We were seated and our drink orders were taken by a different person. Our food was brought out by a third person. If they hadn't told us our server would be so and so, I would have not figured it out. The food is pretty good and I didn't mind the atmosphere. We joined an old college buddy for lunch and spent over an hour here. I'd go back but I wouldn't expect top notch service. The drinks are good and overall I had a good time. However, that was due more to the company I kept rather than the food/service at this place. read more

Decided to eat here on a Tuesday night. We came here around 8 and there was no wait. We were sat right away and our server Alfred was taking care of us. Got our drinks in and out fast. I got the virgin ultimate pineapple and it was delicious, my daughter loved it. We ordered the shrimp and lobster linguine pasta, stuffed crab entree, and the kids bow tie noodle with tomato sauce. I always ordered the pasta but this time around I thought it wasn't as good.. the flavoring was bland for a $20 pasta. The stuffed crab is new but it's good. The kids noodle was good my daughter loved it. When we were waiting for our meal we realized the silverware was all damp and dirty wrapped in a cloth which can cause bacteria to form. I reached for another silverware and it was the same thing.. i lost my appetite immediately just because that's really unsanitary. I don't think I will be back anytime soon. read more

I went with a girlfriend during the weekend and ordered the Coconut Shrimp and the Grilled Salmon & Mixed Greens on a Tostada. The Coconut Shrimp was pretty good, but the Grilled Salmon & Mixed Greens on a Tostada was disappointing. The salmon was dry and not cooked well. My siblings and I decided to bring my parents here for their anniversary... Nice yet affordable dinning. Since we had a large party I knew that a reservation or calling ahead would be best. I called 2 days ahead and was told they don't take reservations but will only accept call ahead seating. So I called at 11a the day of for an 8:30 seating .. We arrived at 815 to ensure seating.. Its 9:34p and we are STILL WAITING. this review would be different if I was told when I called that I would still have to wait 2hours to be seated or better yet if they hadn't taken the "reservation" at all and we would have one elsewhere... not to mention I had you sit in 40 minutes if traffic to get here. My parents' evening has been RUINED. They had multiple large parties call ahead and should have told us that they could not accommodate We did not get seated until 10pm. read more

I used to really enjoy Bahama Breeze (other locations) - a fun place to get drinks and fun food. This place just felt tired - the decore was dated, the staff was inattentive, not many customers, and the food was just 'ok'. And they had those irritating video displays on all the tables, which I think was imposed by the corporation that owns this and several other chains. This experience was enough to convince us to go elsewhere for fun food. read more

I was surprised to step in the restaurant as it was not what I was expecting, especially with some of the reviews. I found the staff to be polite and professional, our waiter Kenton was customer service oriented as he kept us informed when our meal would be out and asked us throughout the night if we needed anything. The ambience was pleasant to be there on a Friday night. I recommend the salmon with mandarin orange... as it was so scrumptious and the coconut shrimp. My kids food came out completely wrong- they ordered sliders and got chicken tenders. While mine and my husbands food was getting cold in front of us we waited 30 more minutes for the kids orders to come out correct. I choked down my cold food but nothing was offered by our waitress for the mix-up. I talked to her about it and she got the manager who comped the 2 kids meals. Our waitress was nice enough but handled it wrong for not acknowledging the problem until I said something. My alcoholic mixed drink was all sugar and no alcohol and the fish tacos were all tortilla and no fish. Won't go back. I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because they comped the kids meals. read more
