This place is popping for a Thursday! I know a lot of people are Manhattan Bagel Stan's, but you can't beat the fact Bagel Station is continually baking fresh batches. These bagels have a decent chew but are a little more tender which means sandwiches are much easier to take down. As someone who grew up in NJ I never understood overloading a bagel with cream cheese... it creates a mess.. here they put on enough that doesn't squeeze out. You will notice that flavored bagels are topped and not double sided. So, you may find yourself flipping the bagels over while taking a bite. Cool vibe, everyone is super nice. Apparently you can get a slight discount if you use cash. I prefer to preorder off their website.

TL;DR: huge variety of bagels and sandwiches. Something for everyone. Came here on a Saturday morning, and the line was out the door. Moves fairly quickly though, and food comes out at a reasonable time. Interior space is very tight, so getting a table is a little difficult. I really liked their packaging. Love their play on Sesame Street. So cute. And each one is labeled, so you know which sandwich is which. FOOD: ~El Dominicano (5/5): so flavorful, and the fried plantain gave it a great balance. ~Rueben roundabout (3.8/5): was okay, but just not our favorite ~Tamago Sando Park (3/5): I really wanted to like this one and was hoping it tasted like a true egg sando. It was fine, but I think the lettuce took away from it a bit. ~Scallion pancake bagel (4/5) with Mala Chili Crisp cream cheese (3/5): bagel itself had a nice chew. The cream cheese was a little heavy and overpowering for me. Also wish the mala was stronger. Overall, would definitely return and try more of the flavors!

Really enjoyed trying this bagel shop! The Sichuan bagel was definitely the star of the show--so much flavor and something a little different from your typical bagel order. I would absolutely get that one again! I also tried the bagel with egg and cheese, and honestly, I'd probably pass on that next time. It was a little too plain for me, and after seeing all the specialty bagel options, I definitely wish I had chosen something more unique and flavorful. There are so many combinations I want to try on my next visit. I'm especially looking forward to trying one of their flavored cream cheeses and grabbing a coffee to go with it. Overall, definitely worth a visit if you're a bagel person, and I'd recommend going for one of the specialty options rather than keeping it basic!

Wow this place is so worth the hype! I got the musubi melt with the schezwan bagel (because they ran out of the scallion bagel) and it was amazing. Perfect saltiness from the spam with a tiny bit of heat from the bagel. The bagel was so light and airy. I went around noon and I don't recommend going then. They didn't have a lot of the bagels and it did limit our options. It was super packed and took 30-40 mins to get our bagels. There's very limited seating as well. Go early if you can. Amazing bagels though!

    Crab Rangoon Bagel

I ordered the crab rangoon bagel and asked for it to be warmed. The cashier and another employee confirmed it would be, but I received it room temperature--lukewarm crab and cream cheese are unpleasant, so I couldn't eat it. The space is tiny and a radio blasting toward the line made it unbearably loud, so without noise-canceling headphones, my ears would've been hurting. The reason this isn't a one star for me is because the prices are fair, the bagel itself was good, and service was fast. I'm willing to give it another chance, even though I'm concerned about things like crab and cream cheese sitting out unrefrigerated or heated.

Bagel Street is our absolute favorite bagel spot. The bagels are crisp, bouncy, and sooo tasty. Being Chinese, the Sichuan street is easily my fave thing on the menu as well as the scallion pancake bagel.

The bagels were quite good. I do wish the everything bagel was a little less hard. It had a good flavor but a little harder than the I hoped. I asked for chive cream cheese and the cashier said they didn't carry it. They did have scallion cream cheese and that was a great alternative. My nephew got the special Sichuan bagel sandwich and he thought it was excellent. Bagel street has a small eating area which was nice for a quick meal. Overall good experience. Next time I'm in Northern VA I'll be back to try something else.

I came here on a Saturday late morning after reading all the great reviews and Bagel Street did not disappoint. I really liked the Sichuan street bagel and the Buenos Dias bagel that we tried. Both were extremely flavorful and the bagel was the perfect texture. I was afraid that the sichuan street would be too spicy but it wasn't, it's more of a light kick. If you have a particular bagel in mind that you want, come early! We arrived around 11 and were amongst the last to get a bagel before they ran out! (Also be prepared to wait if you come on the weekend)

Wait was long, but it was well worth it. The Sichuan Street bagel puts a unique twist on bagels with Chinese sausages along with eggs and peppers. It was an explosion of flavors. Everything was smooth. Bagel had a mild spice. Location was small and will be hard to find seats, but this is something I would recommend

The Sichuan bagel here was delicious! The place was busy even on a Sunday morning at 7:30, but staff took my order and got it out quickly. I loved the combination of the Sichuan peppers with the hot honey - two different kinds of spice and delicious sausage and cheese makes for a great breakfast. I'd have to try more of their bagels individually to really evaluate them but as a sandwich it was fantastic and I'll definitely be back to try more on the menu! The smoked cheddar bagel and the gochujang kimchi bagel both caught my eye for sure. The sandwiches are fairly expensive at $12, but I enjoyed it and Iove a unique breakfast sandwich. It's a small space so be prepared to take your order to go. All in all, a great experience!

I arrived here around 8am and the place was already super packed. We had to wait in a pretty long line, so I would recommend going earlier or ordering ahead (online order ahead is not available on weekends). We got the Sichuan street bagel sandwich and a dozen bagels. I really wanted the Hong Kong sweet bun, but it was unavailable. It also took while for the hot sandwich to be made, but when we finally received it, it was delicious. The bagel itself had a nice flavor. It was a little spicy, but manageable. The prominent flavor in the sandwich was the Chinese sausage. We ordered a variety of bagels and I can see why this place is so popular! The bagels had a nice crust and a really chewy center. I've only had the blueberry one so far, and it was really good. I'd definitely like to come back, but I'll probably avoid the weekends. As we were leaving, there was a line out the door.

The hype did not disappoint at Bagel Street! We went on a busy Saturday morning around 11AM. We probably waited a total of 35min to place order and receive order. We tried a couple of the sandwiches including the fan favorite szechuan sandwich with lap cheong. Genius - so delicious! The bagels taste fresh and do not lose their texture as some others in the area do. Highly recommend - can't wait to be back to buy more bagel flavors to try!

tl;dr: A new family-run bagel shop offering up unique, delicious bagels. It feels like there's a new bagel shop opening every week in the DMV. While some of those might be big corporate franchises, Bagel Street Cafe is a family-run shop infusing their heritage into their bagels. You'll find special flavors like the spicy Sichuan, and the subtle, but distinct scallion pancake. This shop is so popular, you'll probably wait a little on the weekend, but the line moves quickly and it's worth it. Food: - The Early Bird (Sausage, Egg, and Cheese) - I ordered mine on a smoked cheddar bagel, and it was the best decision, adding even more flavor. This sandwich comes with a dijonnaise, which I enjoyed, but you can ask to leave it off if you prefer. - Sichuan Street - A Sichuan bagel (not too spicy!) with Chinese sausage, Kewpie mayo, American cheese, and an egg. This was different, and not a menu item that you'd find anywhere else (that I know of at least.) A stand-out menu item. - Scallion Pancake - It looks like a plain bagel, but it does have a scallion flavor! Parking: On the weekends, parking can get tight here. There's additional parking in the back.

I ran out of water so I tried to catch the eye of every single staff member there, raising my hand, and absolutely no one looked my way. For example, yesterday, I had their Peter's Special, a sandwich made from 1/2 lb of pastrami and 1/2 lb of corned beef. Except that it's not "a" sandwich, but three, all on delicious rye bread, each with its own pickle, and a small helping of slaw, sauerkraut, and a major pile of salad. It was my lunch yesterday; the remaining two sandwiches are my lunch today and tomorrow. That's three meals for $30, which, to me, is a reasonable price. The problem was that the more they do to create the food, the less flavorful it is. For example, on another recent visit, I had their Country Style Omelet. Again, it was huge and contained everything that goes into a great omelet. Except, there wasn't a lot of flavor. And that seems to be the theme. I grabbed a slice of their 24-layer cake and, again, big but not much taste beyond sweetness. If you crave a lot of food, then this might be the spot for you. However, if you prefer less and more, smaller portions with better, more nuanced flavor, then maybe try one of the other nearby restaurants.

We ordered the Poulet Gruyere ($12.10) without the cracked pepper...and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. They cut it it in half, exactly as I requested. This crepe was generously packed with chicken/mushroom/peppers/cheese consisting of intense flavors. While I appreciate the generous amount of filling in the crepe, the ratio of crepe to filling was a little off. The filling probably would have been easier to eat in a wrap form. Nonetheless, it was still very flavorful and I highly recommend it. They have an extensive menu including sweet/savory crepes, all-day breakfast, waffles, various beverages. There is definitely something for everyone. The cafe has plenty of seating (inside & outside), but I would assume it may be a little crowded if/when they get busy. The employees were very friendly and accommodating in that they gave us an extra cup with ice and split and plated the crepe. I thought it was cool they sell the crepe mix separately. Of course I had to partake, so I ordered the special pie, which was a masala, chicken, curry pie, and it was quite good.
