My children's school always orders from here for our meetings and it's so good! The bagels are soft and fresh and the selections of cream cheeses are plenty. Fan favorites are the everything and sesame bagel and scallion and vegetable cream cheeses. This is a 4.5-star review. I stopped by Bagel Parlor because when I typed "bagel" into Yelp, it came up as #3 in my area. Since I've been to #1 and #2 recently, I figured, why not? From the outside and inside, the place is clean. The bagels and bialys were definitely larger than those at the #1 and #2 places as well. The employees were smiling and quick to ask if I needed any help. Even after we ordered, another employee came out from the back, saw me looking at the other bagels, and asked if I was being helped, encouraging me to ask if I needed anything. We ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese, a bialy with cream cheese, and had to try a pistachio bomboloni. I mentioned the "chew" in my last review, so I need to address it here. The bagel didn't have as much of that chew, which was a bit disappointing. The bialy had a bit, but not much. However, both tasted fine. The bomboloni was good as well, but I think I want to try the plain one in the future. So, would I come back? Probably. There are other items on the menu I'd like to try. The pizza bagel options sound good, and, as I mentioned before, I'd like to try a plain bomboloni. read more

My nearby bagel place closed down recently so I needed a new go-to. This is it! Hand rolled, kettle boiled, perfection! These are almost the same as my old bagel place and I'm here for it. A bit of crisp on the outside and soft inside. Love it! We tried the donuts as well and they're better than any commercialized or overpriced donut spots. Stopped in and grabbed an egg salad sandwich toasted Everything bagel. The bagel was fresh and airy inside . The outside had an amazing crunch to it. The egg salad was slightly seasoned and tasty. I went here last week and ordered an egg sandwich with avocado and they charged me 8 dollars and some change , I went there yesterday and ordered the same thing and this time they charged me 10.35 they make up their own prices so if I go back next week which I will not do they'll probably charge me 12 dollars and one guy's behind the counter kept wiping his hands with gloves on , on his dirty bacteria filled apron then touching food that is disgusting he didn't change his gloves once I will NEVER eat there ever again read more

We usually get bagels from another staple in the neighborhood but since they are always busy, we tried this place soon after they opened. My dad was the one who found and chose this place since he ordered from here prior to my visit with them. They are in the location that used to be Berardis bakery, I believe, in the village. Of course you will may struggle with parking most times because the village is impossible sometimes. There is a bus stop out front but those meter maids are quick! Honestly, finding parking is hit or miss. The first time I visited, my dad just went inside and ordered everything bagels for us with extra lite cream cheese and two coffees. We had just left the hospital where my mom had surgery at 5am so we were hungry and exhausted. The bagel was nice and crispy, with a ton of cream cheese so maybe I didn't need to ask for extra! The flavor and on point and definitely not scarce on the seasoning. The bagel had more flavor than most bagels. The next time we had bagels from here, we called ahead and ordered to go since it was early in the morning and we were unsure of the parking situation. Pops was in and out quickly so that is a useful option. I have only ordered the everything bagel but next time I might venture to my next favorite-cinnamon raisin. read more

OMG!!! This was our second time coming to the Bagel Parlor. The staff and the owner are super friendly. We ordered our bagel with salami and cheese and other items. Of course we cannot just walk out with one thing. the owner was fixing a new sandwich. They call The Edison. He asked me if I would like the sandwich and I said, as a matter of fact, we are from Edison New Jersey what a coincidence he said so the sandwich had to be ours. When we got home, we didn't eat our sandwich because The Edison was a hot sandwich. Well, let me tell you we were not disappointed.OMG! The Edison was great! I think the pricing is a bit expensive for the spreads but the bagel prices are reasonable. My bagel tasted good. I'd come again to buy only the bagels since the spread was about 3xs the price of a mini bagel. Service was good. Workers are nice. It's clean and they have a tv. Bagels are not supposed to feel heavy like these; they are supposed to rise and be somewhat airy! I guess they are trying, but they need to learn how to make proper bagels.
