This is a 4.5-star review. I stopped by Bagel Parlor because when I typed "bagel" into Yelp, it came up as #3 in my area. Since I've been to #1 and #2 recently, I figured, why not? From the outside and inside, the place is clean. The bagels and bialys were definitely larger than those at the #1 and #2 places as well. The employees were smiling and quick to ask if I needed any help. Even after we ordered, another employee came out from the back, saw me looking at the other bagels, and asked if I was being helped, encouraging me to ask if I needed anything. We ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese, a bialy with cream cheese, and had to try a pistachio bomboloni. I mentioned the "chew" in my last review, so I need to address it here. The bagel didn't have as much of that chew, which was a bit disappointing. The bialy had a bit, but not much. However, both tasted fine. The bomboloni was good as well, but I think I want to try the plain one in the future. So, would I come back? Probably. There are other items on the menu I'd like to try. The pizza bagel options sound good, and, as I mentioned before, I'd like to try a plain bomboloni.

Stopped in and grabbed an egg salad sandwich toasted Everything bagel. The bagel was fresh and airy inside . The outside had an amazing crunch to it. The egg salad was slightly seasoned and tasty. The side is very clean and has tables to sit down and eat. The Bagel Parlor also offers specialty sandwiches and salads . Quite the variety ! The cashiers are super nice which made the whole experience all the more better

REVIEW OF UBEREATS ORDER: Ordered a dozen bagels through uber eats. The order arrived late & all the bagels came thrown into an open unsealed bag. Even if we werent in the middle of a pandemic, the idea that they thought it was reasonably safe to pack bagels into a bag like this is honestly mind blowing. They couldnt even try to tape or staple the bag shut? Needless to say, I will never order bagels from here again, or recommend anyone else to.

We usually get bagels from another staple in the neighborhood but since they are always busy, we tried this place soon after they opened. My dad was the one who found and chose this place since he ordered from here prior to my visit with them. They are in the location that used to be Berardis bakery, I believe, in the village. Of course you will may struggle with parking most times because the village is impossible sometimes. There is a bus stop out front but those meter maids are quick! Honestly, finding parking is hit or miss. The first time I visited, my dad just went inside and ordered everything bagels for us with extra lite cream cheese and two coffees. We had just left the hospital where my mom had surgery at 5am so we were hungry and exhausted. The bagel was nice and crispy, with a ton of cream cheese so maybe I didn't need to ask for extra! The flavor and on point and definitely not scarce on the seasoning. The bagel had more flavor than most bagels. The next time we had bagels from here, we called ahead and ordered to go since it was early in the morning and we were unsure of the parking situation. Pops was in and out quickly so that is a useful option. I have only ordered the everything bagel but next time I might venture to my next favorite-cinnamon raisin.

A great breakfast spot, with very fast service. They get you in and out. Breakfast sandwiches are really good. And they have a decent selection of their signature sandwiches. They also have hot coffee, iced coffee and anything else you would find at any establishment like such. I haven't had their salads but I've had a muffin from the bakery side and it was good as I expected it to be. If you haven't been you should..

Great breakfast spot for a quick bite. Friendly little place with a few seats. Must try the meat lovers omelette & pepperoni pizza. They even had St Patty's day bagels & pastries.

I didn't know Bagel Parlor was so well off that they could afford to turn down orders. Good for them!

... And back to the same old story. Placed an order, and 25 mins later ... Cancellation. Really disappointing. I've had restaurants take longer with orders because they're busy, but to cancel? Guess customer service and building their reputation isn't that important to them. Not to mention that businesses usually turn off their Uber eats app when they're busy, then turn it back on when they're available - My order was randomly canceled and Bagel Parlor remained available on the app. That's more than insulting.

I opened the wrap and my bagel like this. Looks like someone took a scooper and took all the bread out.

Worst bagel I've ever ordered. Asked for a bagel toasted with very little butter. I got a bagel that was lukewarm, with a pound of butter. Looks like someone ripped all of the bread out as well. Will never order from here again.

OMG!!! This was our second time coming to the Bagel Parlor. The staff and the owner are super friendly. We ordered our bagel with salami and cheese and other items. Of course we cannot just walk out with one thing. the owner was fixing a new sandwich. They call The Edison. He asked me if I would like the sandwich and I said, as a matter of fact, we are from Edison New Jersey what a coincidence he said so the sandwich had to be ours. When we got home, we didn't eat our sandwich because The Edison was a hot sandwich. Well, let me tell you we were not disappointed.OMG! The Edison was great! Definitely hands-down they must put it on the menu! Everyone when you go there please mention the sandwich so they can put it on the menu. I will be back next week but this time I'm getting my own because I do not want to share Please let them know that you saw my review, and that you need to taste The Edison

I've been to bagel shops all over the city and can tell you this is my favorite one! Best BEC!

Small local bagel shop with a friendly staff. Bagel parlor has quickly become my favorite bagel spot in the area (used to be utopia). The bagels are huge compared to other shops, they are very generous with the seasonings in their bagels and my order is always out quick and correct. The only thing to note is parking can be a little tricky, but double parking is possible.
