Different cream cheeses and cold salads to make with your bagels.
Kathy T.

When walking in, you are greeted by the workers and all you smell is homemade baked bagels. Very welcoming, cute little bagel shop. I checked on Yelp to find a bagel shop on our way home, my husband and I were craving a real bagel egg sandwich, and this was the place we picked. When ordering a dozen bagels to bring back to PA, we also ordered two egg sandwiches, just to find out, they don't make any hot sandwiches. So we sacrificed with two bagels with cream cheese, with our dozen to bring back home. The bagels were delicious. I highly recommend this place if you want a true, tasty homemade bagel. Lost a star due to not making egg sandwiches on there bagels.

Bagels are the exact same! The owner Karl is extremely friendly. They are constantly testing new bagels and spreads. Great selection of drinks and the coffee is amazing! The renovations make the place feel bigger. So happy it's open again!

Bagels are the size of mini donuts. I could go buy a bag of frozen bagels that are of better quality and cost. That's not saying much.

Best bagels perhaps on earth. Best childhood memory is waking up to the small of bagels and knowing they were from here.

Serving day old and inconsistently sized bagels. Not better than a bag of Lenders from Foodtown. Expensive for low quality

The bagels are not as good as they were, and the prices are significantly higher. Not sure this combination will last.

An Absolutely Spectacular Wedding Experience! We recently…read morecelebrated our son's wedding at the Oyster Point Hotel in Red Bank, and I cannot say enough about the extraordinary experience we had. From beginning to end, everything was absolutely spectacular. The food was outstanding, the presentation was beautiful, and the service was simply immaculate. The staff, dressed in their elegant black-and-white uniforms with white-glove service, demonstrated a level of professionalism and attention to detail that was truly impressive. Having spent more than 40 years in the food service and hospitality industry, including owning my own restaurant for over two decades, I know firsthand what it takes to execute an event of this magnitude. I can sincerely say that the team at Oyster Point went above and beyond in every aspect. What impressed me most was how seamlessly everything flowed. The staff anticipated guests' needs, the timing was impeccable, and not a single detail seemed to be overlooked. It was evident that tremendous preparation, teamwork, and pride went into making this celebration exceptional. Most importantly, we were able to relax, enjoy the evening, and celebrate our son and his beautiful bride without a single worry. To the entire team at Oyster Point Hotel, thank you for helping create such a wonderful and unforgettable wedding celebration for our family. Five stars without hesitation. I would highly recommend Oyster Point Hotel to anyone planning a wedding or special event. John Kretkowski

The front desk staff was professional and courteous. One young man was clearly in training, and the young woman guiding him was extremely knowledgeable and polite which to me was a great example of mentorship done right. Unfortunately, our original room had a heater that was rattling loudly and had pooled water on top of it, which I recorded and showed to the front desk. To their credit, maintenance responded quickly, and the technician was friendly, professional, and even helped move my luggage. He brought us keys to a new room, and the front desk upgraded us to the North Suite, which was an incredibly thoughtful gesture. The North Suite was fantastic with a large space with a massive balcony and beautiful views, along with a comfortable seating area outside. Sadly, due to the season, it was too cold to enjoy the balcony, but we appreciated the feature. That said, the suite wasn't perfect: The shower area was oddly dark, with little lighting. There was no air vent in the bathroom, which seemed unusual. The sink was smaller than the one in the standard suite. Neither of the two TVs worked, though I didn't want to complain during the stay and just mentioned it at checkout. The bathroom door didn't latch, which was a minor but noticeable issue. The smoke detector is missing from the ceiling, which gave me pause. Despite those flaws, the service and staff stood out. I witnessed two bar employees being rudely berated by guests over late food (which obviously wasn't their fault), and they handled the situation with professionalism and calm. I was so impressed by their professionalism under pressure (and so thoroughly disgusted by that table of senior citizens who should know better than to act that way) that I tipped each of them $50 each on top of our drink tab to make up for how poorly they were treated. Speaking of which, the bar area is a wonderful little spot, with friendly staff and the occasional live music, making it a fun place to unwind without leaving the hotel. The cocktails are excellent as well. This hotel has long been our go-to when in town, and while there were a few issues this time, the staff's attentiveness and care truly made the experience special. We're already looking forward to our return in 2026. TIP: Be mindful of where you park! The handicap parking is limited, and one of the spaces is under a tree that's heavily populated with birds. Our car was completely covered in bird droppings. I mean absolutely covered. Avoid that spot if you can.

I got an everything bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese, and it was absolutely amazing. The bagel was nicely toasted and crunchy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. Their food menu looked amazing. The ambiance was very upscale & cozy. I can't wait to go back and try more! They also had some free baked goods as well.

Pros: I loved the open view kitchen into the seating area…read moredesign. It makes the experience personable not to mention you can see how organized and clean the kitchen is. I received friendly and lighthearted service from the man who took my order. One thing that I thought was pretty cool and have never seen before was a "color wheel" for coffee. It was a visual way to show your preferences on what your preferences are on coffee appearance once the milk is added. My chicken salad sandwich was delicious, not too filling and made on very soft enjoyable bread. Room for improvement: Maybe because I stopped in at 1 pm on a Wednesday I felt like the seating area was poorly maintained. The floor really needed to be swept so it actually felt like of dirty sitting there eatting. There were a handful of people spread out with their laptops etc. One person was actively taking a call so it felt like you at work with them. Another had a small dog that she was carrying around people eatting while the leash/harness laid on the floor near her table. I'm all for dogs being allowed to be in eateries but the whole sit in experience felt dirty for me (especially based on the price I paid) and wouldn't be something I'd repeat. Long story short, the customer service while ordering is great but take your order to go.

We started with sharing the shrimp cocktail appetizer. We ordered 6 to share and they were very tasty and fresh... a little on the small side for $4.95 each. But then our salads came and wow... they were both packed with proteins! I had the Salmon Cobb salad which was really good... fresh and tons of protein. Besides a large piece of grilled salmon was feta, hard boiled egg, avocado, chickpeas and so many other great ingredients. I left off the bacon. My husband had the asian steak and avocado salad and he ate every morsel. His also packed a protein punch and he loved it. It was his birthday so we had to celebrate with a delicious blueberry almond frost pint dessert. It was in a parfait cup and filled with lots of yummy treats ... whipped cream, crushed almond biscotti, blueberry compote and vanilla ice cream too... so good. We loved the ambiance and the atmosphere and staring out at the Navesink can't be beat. While we ate our meal indoors, you can also eat al fresco and I'd suggest a reservation for busy times just in case. It's the restaurant inside of the Oyster Point Hotel.

Our food arrived quickly. Food was solid and good. The swordfish was a substantial piece, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. They have a bourbon flight and offer a smoked bourbon option.
