Tried the sesame bagel scooped. It was crisp and a good size bagel. Good service would come back.

A terrible breakfast sandwich. Give me a break.

Wonky, half-baked sandwich. What a joke. Bagels hard as a rock. Two slices of Kraft singles slapped on top. 3 pieces of bacon.

Bagel with hair clump

I opened up my bagel order to a huge hair clump stuck to the side of it. That is completely unacceptable and disgusting. How does one even let that be sold and given to a customer? Never coming back

A couple bites into my Wester Omelette Sandwich

First time here and I have been waiting over 30 mins for a Western Omelette Sandwich. I only stopped here cause I missed the train and by the looks of it, I'm going to miss another one waiting for a single sandwich. The staff seemed agitated I kept asking for my single sandwich. The manager or owner offered me a water for the wait and I appreciated that. I'm glad my sandwich was good after waiting so long. It taste very fresh and I guess it was worth the wait. If calling ahead is an option you should to avoid that wait time!

If you enjoy 99% bread for $6.99 then by all means but this was bad. I went to McDonald for breakfast shortly after getting this McD's had much better quality. Second worst bagel I've ever had.

Egg Bagel with Cream Cheese ($2.50)

Very good bagels, they are huge. We got 2 egg bagels with cream cheese ($2.50/each) Very good consistency to the bagel and the cream cheese is very fresh. I've been here a few times, just leaving a few kind words for the food. The staff can be unwelcoming/abrupt at times which is a turnoff but the food is good.

Amazing bagels, best in town. Bagel station also gives back to the community donating bagels to the local food bank.

They have delicious bagels, and the best BEC in the area! We've been going here for years.

Good bagels, but the girl at the front was SO rude! I would eat from here again, but I'd be mentally prepared for the attitude!

The restaurant downstairs was next level--seriously some of the best food I've had in a long time. The room was spotless, comfortable, and really well done. But the real star was the view--an unreal water view that made the whole stay feel like something special. I'd come back here in a heartbeat.

The front desk staff was professional and courteous. One young man was clearly in training, and the young woman guiding him was extremely knowledgeable and polite which to me was a great example of mentorship done right. Unfortunately, our original room had a heater that was rattling loudly and had pooled water on top of it, which I recorded and showed to the front desk. To their credit, maintenance responded quickly, and the technician was friendly, professional, and even helped move my luggage. He brought us keys to a new room, and the front desk upgraded us to the North Suite, which was an incredibly thoughtful gesture. The North Suite was fantastic with a large space with a massive balcony and beautiful views, along with a comfortable seating area outside. Sadly, due to the season, it was too cold to enjoy the balcony, but we appreciated the feature. That said, the suite wasn't perfect: The shower area was oddly dark, with little lighting. There was no air vent in the bathroom, which seemed unusual. The sink was smaller than the one in the standard suite. Neither of the two TVs worked, though I didn't want to complain during the stay and just mentioned it at checkout. The bathroom door didn't latch, which was a minor but noticeable issue. The smoke detector is missing from the ceiling, which gave me pause. Despite those flaws, the service and staff stood out. I witnessed two bar employees being rudely berated by guests over late food (which obviously wasn't their fault), and they handled the situation with professionalism and calm. I was so impressed by their professionalism under pressure (and so thoroughly disgusted by that table of senior citizens who should know better than to act that way) that I tipped each of them $50 each on top of our drink tab to make up for how poorly they were treated. Speaking of which, the bar area is a wonderful little spot, with friendly staff and the occasional live music, making it a fun place to unwind without leaving the hotel. The cocktails are excellent as well. This hotel has long been our go-to when in town, and while there were a few issues this time, the staff's attentiveness and care truly made the experience special. We're already looking forward to our return in 2026. TIP: Be mindful of where you park! The handicap parking is limited, and one of the spaces is under a tree that's heavily populated with birds. Our car was completely covered in bird droppings. I mean absolutely covered. Avoid that spot if you can.

I got an everything bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese, and it was absolutely amazing. The bagel was nicely toasted and crunchy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. Their food menu looked amazing. The ambiance was very upscale & cozy. I can't wait to go back and try more! They also had some free baked goods as well.

Pros: I loved the open view kitchen into the seating area…read moredesign. It makes the experience personable not to mention you can see how organized and clean the kitchen is. I received friendly and lighthearted service from the man who took my order. One thing that I thought was pretty cool and have never seen before was a "color wheel" for coffee. It was a visual way to show your preferences on what your preferences are on coffee appearance once the milk is added. My chicken salad sandwich was delicious, not too filling and made on very soft enjoyable bread. Room for improvement: Maybe because I stopped in at 1 pm on a Wednesday I felt like the seating area was poorly maintained. The floor really needed to be swept so it actually felt like of dirty sitting there eatting. There were a handful of people spread out with their laptops etc. One person was actively taking a call so it felt like you at work with them. Another had a small dog that she was carrying around people eatting while the leash/harness laid on the floor near her table. I'm all for dogs being allowed to be in eateries but the whole sit in experience felt dirty for me (especially based on the price I paid) and wouldn't be something I'd repeat. Long story short, the customer service while ordering is great but take your order to go.

We started with sharing the shrimp cocktail appetizer. We ordered 6 to share and they were very tasty and fresh... a little on the small side for $4.95 each. But then our salads came and wow... they were both packed with proteins! I had the Salmon Cobb salad which was really good... fresh and tons of protein. Besides a large piece of grilled salmon was feta, hard boiled egg, avocado, chickpeas and so many other great ingredients. I left off the bacon. My husband had the asian steak and avocado salad and he ate every morsel. His also packed a protein punch and he loved it. It was his birthday so we had to celebrate with a delicious blueberry almond frost pint dessert. It was in a parfait cup and filled with lots of yummy treats ... whipped cream, crushed almond biscotti, blueberry compote and vanilla ice cream too... so good. We loved the ambiance and the atmosphere and staring out at the Navesink can't be beat. While we ate our meal indoors, you can also eat al fresco and I'd suggest a reservation for busy times just in case. It's the restaurant inside of the Oyster Point Hotel.

Beautiful views from this restaurant. Right along the Navasink river. I'd recommend coming around…read moresunset as the view then was lovely. Service was attentive and friendly. Our food arrived quickly. Food was solid and good. The swordfish was a substantial piece, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. They have a bourbon flight and offer a smoked bourbon option.
