Gelato waffle bowl

I went for an overnight with my girls to get away for a day. I booked the Pyster Point Hotel because of the beautiful view, fitness center, and room service. We would have liked an indoor pool, which they didn't have, but that was an oversight by me for not checking. I really wanted to love this hotel, but didn't. For the positives, the staff is wonderful. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the view is just beautiful. Check in is after 3pm, but they were able to accommodate an early check in, which was appreciated. The rooms are pretty small and a bit outdated. The hotel definitely use some TLC. The bathrooms are also quite small and cramped feeling. They do have the tiny. shampoo, conditioner, soup etc, where I'd normally prefer the larger containers that are usually installed in hotel bathrooms. The heat / ac in the room is mounted by the wall and pretty loud when turned on. There also isn't much to do at this location, no game room, pool table etc. In addition to the rooms being small, you can either get a king size bed which would have been tight for the 3 of us, or two doubles. They do not have double queens, which would have been more comfortable, only two doubles. There are no pull out couches, but you can request a rollaway which is twin size, and they gladly would have brought one in for us. The drawers were a bit broken, hard to open and close. The TV was small and on the older side. I booked the River Double ~ which is only $10 more than the Deluxe Double, and has an amazing view of the Navesink River. I bought the winter escape package which for an additional $96 includes a three course dinner for 2 in their dining room. What I failed to understand is that the Winter Escape Package includes a limited menu of what you can select from. I already knew that I would need to add to this package as there were 3 of us, however, I hadn't realized how limited the options on this package would be (it's not their full menu) and ended up adding a lot more so that we could each order what we wanted to eat. Again, the servers and service was wonderful, and the restaurant was very uncrowded for a Saturday night. The food was quite good. Another disappointment was that roomservice is only until 7 or 8pm, though you can still order food to go until 9pm and at 8:30pm they did offer to either deliver the food or let me pick it up. Normally places we have stayed if they offered room service it's until at least 11pm on a weekend. The only thing I did notice is that when I put the food outside after eating, it was still there when we left the hotel at 11am. The fitness center is in a very odd location, 2nd floor then down half a flight of stairs. I would never have been able to find it without assistance. We were there only ones in the fitness room. It does have one small old shower and a bathroom, however the bathroom did not have any soap to wash your hands. They do offer complimentary muffins and coffee in the lobby in the morning. We were excited to try breakfast, which opens at 8am, however we waited for a while and when I realized nobody was seating us, I asked the front desk and they had problems with the pipes / maintenance and did not know when or if the kitchen would be back up, so we ended up getting Ubet Eats for breakfast. Check out is at 11am, however as I attempted to bring our things to the car at 10am, our key for some reason was disabled. I went to the front desk and was given a new key, which also did not work. There were some birthdays and events while we were there, and looked beautiful. I definitely would consider hosting an event here, if booking a room for 3, I'd probably consider getting adjoining room for the space. Also we were room 419 at the end by an exit sign, and the exit sign is quite loud.

We had a quick overnight stay! Lovely room with a beautiful view! Great location to walk to nearby restaurants! We will be back!

When you walk in there is a beautiful area with vases of flowers. They had an adorable turtle bell to use if no one is at the front desk. When we arrived, the hotel was packed. They had two bridal showers going on and an engagement party. We checked in, and our room was on the 5th floor. This hotel has a fabulous view, of the water for most of there rooms. We had a king size room, which had the view of the lake. They also have a nice restaurant on the premises and a full bar with live music. We had a group of us renting rooms for the night, because we were going to a show close by. Impeccable Cleanliness and Maintenance: "Rooms were spotless, and the facilities were well-maintained." "The hotel's cleanliness surpassed my expectations." Comfortable Accommodations: "King size bed was exceptionally comfortable." "Rooms were a nice size, the restroom were small. They offer free valet parking, which you'll need if you show up during events. Losing a star for lack of parking spots and surprisingly for the bar to be closed when we got back to hotel at 10pm on a Saturday from our show. We all thought we were going to have a few drinks to end our evening. Especially on a weekend evening. They do offer free coffee and tea in the main lobby in the morning.

Breathtaking view from Navesink Double Room

Great Place! I have stayed at the Oyster Point Hotel 2 times now, and each time I loved it! The room I had last time was the North Suite which was very large, comfortable and had a great navesink view. This time, I got the Navesink Double (pictured here) which offered great views, comfortable beds and nice modern artwork! If you were in the Red Bank area and don't care about not having a pool, than spend a night or two at the Oyster Point Hotel! (Highly Recommend)

This review is based on The Pearl, which is the restaurant and bar at the Oyster Point. The Pearl has a beautiful view of the river and a notable happy hour menu as well. (Monday - Friday from 4-6.) at times, they also have live music upstairs too! I highly recommend sitting on their outdoor like patio, for an excellent view and ambiance. I've never officially needed a reservation here, but they do take reservations, so I'd recommend making one on nicer days. Their food and service is always fantastic. (We really love the bartender, JP, who is infamous for making us fun, mixed drinks, based on our preferences!) i also enjoy that you can have a tequila flight here, with a generous pour. In terms of food, my husband really enjoys the short rib or scallop and shrimp meal. The lobster bisque soup is also large and a family favorite. The only thing I had here that I did not love, was the kale dumplings, as I found them to be a little dry and lacking flavor. The only downside is if there is a wedding or event upstairs, at times, the bar area can get crowded with guests, depending on the timing. Pro: good food, service, and views Cons: can get a little hectic during a wedding Overall, the Oyster Point has a beautiful view with excellent service!

Stains on the carpet. The rooms here need a total updating and renovation.

If you're looking for a view, this is the place to come to. Other than that, I don't find the rooms to be updated or have any kind of special vibe. Everything is outdated the carpets were stained all over the place. The bathrooms were bla . I felt the air-conditioning in the room wasn't working that great. I took the two vents out there had to be at least 2 inches of dust on them. I washed them out in the bathtub it was disgusting. The downstairs areas are OK I just really don't like these rooms.

Stayed here this past weekend. Pros: beautiful view of water, close to downtown, restaurant on site, smells beautiful, close to molly pitcher inn Cons: poplar venue for all things party so the costs fluctuates a lot based on this, 3rd floor is on top of party room so you can hear allll the music, at least in room 307 you can, no vending machine for late night chips Lastly, moldy shower knob. I told the front desk so if it isn't fixed after 5/22/23 shame on them

If you're looking for a top-notch location for a bridal shower, I highly recommend the Oyster Point Hotel in Red Bank, NJ. The service, food, and location are all outstanding, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other venues in the area. The hotel's location overlooking the beautiful Navasink River is simply breathtaking. And, it's conveniently located for guests in Monmouth County and not far from the Parkway. We booked the Palm Room (A, B, C) for our roughly 40 guests, and it was the perfect size for our party. The valet parking was very convenient for our guests, and the staff was attentive throughout the entire process. We ordered the Sangria bowl, which was a big hit, and were able to bring our own cupcake/cakes and set up a table for decorations. The cookie favors were from The Cookie House in Manalapan, and I would also highly recommend them. The plated lunch options we chose were the grilled salmon and a chicken dish, both of which were excellent. The staff was so nice and friendly to me and my guests the entire day, and they really helped make my bridal shower amazing and unforgettable. The Oyster Point Hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking to host a memorable and beautiful bridal shower.

We've hosted and attended several events at both properties (Oyster Point and sister property Molly Pitcher Inn) recently and thank goodness for Judith Ivan! She was a fabulous coordinator for our events. She has been in the industry for years so she has excellent local referrals and impeccable taste. The Maître d' Cristian Soto, was so helpful that my family wanted for nothing! The professional way things are run, and the warm way we were treated was beyond our expectations!

Met Susan Tedeshi at our hotel after the concert with Scott Y!

So it is hard to get a good nights sleep. Also the Hilton app said there was a breakfast taco bar and this turned out to be a lie. There was no such bar. I was sad. I was promised breakfast tacos and didn't get them. Just waffles and bagels and watery eggs and bacon. And cereal. And bad mini muffins. No taco bar. Me want tacos. Me sad.

Our check-in was smooth but the front desk clerk wasn't really friendly but not rude either. Our room had a kitchenette and a desk area. Everything was clean. The bed was ok. The bathroom had 1/2 a roll of toilet paper and we had to go to the front desk to get more. (As we were leaving, another roll was on a shelf that we couldn't see). We did not utilize housekeeping so can't speak on that. The complimentary breakfast was blah and the coffee wasn't great but it is free. Honestly, there's 500 Dunkin's, Starbucks and local spots to get better coffee. Do yourself a favor and drive the 10 minutes to Town Bagels and Grill. Get yourself a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel (I just go for the egg everything bagel). There is a small outdoor pool on the property that is well maintained. But, a staff member has to unlock the gate (even though there is a card reader on the gate). There is a small laundry room with washers and dryers. They did the job. And a small workout room that I did use once. The hotel itself is not in a walkable area. But the boardwalk is a 15-20 min drive away. I'd stay here again but it wouldn't be my first choice.

The hotel is beautiful and it felt like every single piece of furniture and decorations were chosen intentionally. Perhaps the best part of our stay was the phenomenal, friendly and attentive service from manager Emily. Truly a gem of a person, and made sure everything we needed was available. Would also like to highlight that Emily reached out even before our stay begun to ask if we needed anything upon arrival or had any questions. All requests were met and Emily was prompt to answer all questions. I would highly recommend The James Bradley to anyone thinking of visiting. If you're looking for a quick vacation out of this city, this is the place, so easy to get to, the town has wonderful restaurants/bars and the beach was beautiful (even if it was too cold to hang out). When I asked about it, the staff told me it was in the website in a very defensive and dismissive tone and conversation. I didn't see it there and it didn't solve the situation.
