Bagel Exchange is my favorite bagel spot right now. My go to orders are usually a toasted jalapeno and cheese bagel or an everything bagel with plain cream cheese. Their bagels are always fresh, soft, chewy, and full of flavor. They're also a great deal at $3.50 each. On my recent visit, I tried their bagel sandwich with egg and bacon on a jalapeno and cheese bagel with cream cheese. The sandwich was so yummy! The scrambled egg was fluffy, and although the bacon wasn't super crispy, it was still tasty and paired well with the sandwich. It was also a great deal at $7.50. I have yet to try their drinks, but they have a variety of Filipino inspired lattes like ube and pandan. They even sell calamansi juice. Customer service is great! The only downside is the parking. They only have street parking, and it can be difficult to find a spot on busy days. read more

This place has been here a while. So let's see if they're pretty good eh or ew. I got their blue Thai tea, avocado blt, and pizza bagel to try. The blue Thai tea was pretty and still had all those classic sweet warm spiced flaves but not gonna lie did taste a bit watered down. The avocado blt had nutty smooth avocado, savory meaty bacon, juicy tomatoes, leafy lettuce, and tangy mustard. I got it on their jalapeno cheddar bagel which was chewy, soft yet dense, and had a bit of a kick from the jalapeños. Wasn't getting much cheese flaves tho. The pizza bagel also had a nice chewy, soft, dense bagel with a sugary tomato sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. Favorite part about this spot is the food - went recently for the first time and their Stocks Lox was superb - they did not skimp on adding the smoked salmon or capers which I appreciate. The orange juice was also amazing - they don't lie when they say it's fresh squeezed! Pretty funky theme lol, very creative. Limited indoor seating, so probably wouldn't recommend for getting work done but I was able to chat with a friend & the music/TV wasn't too disturbing or distracting. Really fun concept!! Bagel Exchange is in the Main Street area of Alhambra. There's parking spaces in the back of the block. The concept of the place is very interesting. They serve bagels with a focus on the trade exchange. The TV screens and decors are related to that of trading, stocks, and news about the market. The service is great! They were quick and knew how to explain the bagel recommendations well. I got the colorful bagel with smoke salmon + cream cheese (the lox style) and it was delicious! My go-to bagel place in SGV! Love the lox and stock and overall, the bagels are great for their value! Service is great and quick and parking is easy on the street. I parked in the parking lot behind the restaurant between 1st and 2nd. Plenty of space and outlets to work inside if you so choose. read more

I was happy to discover this bagel shop! I saw them on Too Good to Go actually, where I was finally able to reserve a bag. Maybe they ran out of leftover bagels because the guy working there gave me a bag of 6 fresh bagels that he just picked out from the case! We also ordered two bagel sandwiches: Stocks N Lox on Spinach Parmesan Egg, Cheese and Sausage on Pesto Both sandwiches had good flavor and the right amount of toasting and we really enjoyed them. Techno music when I went, small discrete front door, dark club vibes, two hipsters working the place, TV screen tuned to the stock exchange to keep you abreast of your investments, clocks on the wall giving you jet setters the time of the day in your home town...JK... Bagel Exchange is a definite go-to for big, chewy, tasty bagels. I like my bagels encrusted with goop...sesame seeds, fried garlic, fried onion, Parmesan, chia seeds,.. all kinds of shi..take. No cuss... they have encrusted and they have plain ones for those that have gastroenteritis that shouldn't have all those little seedy things. All good, I like both types of bagels but the chewy base always gets me. BE is also on TGTG for those that like a surprise deal. 6 bagels that they choose. A bargain if you're in the area. I stopped by this morning right when they opened and ordered a Build Your Own Bagel with lox and bacon. It wasn't too busy yet, and the inside has a pretty interesting concept and setup. Since it was early, the staff seemed a little tired, but they were still nice overall. The only exception was the man in the back who was dull, who I'm assuming was the owner or manager. I used to spend my summers in New York, so I'll admit I had high standards, especially since I've seen this place compared to NYC bagels. For the price, though, I personally didn't think it lived up to that comparison. There was very little lox compared to other spots I've tried in LA and New York at a similar price point. The bacon was also pretty salty, though they were generous with the cream cheese, which some people might really like. I decided to try the Bagel Exchange in Alhambra because I like try different kind of bagels even I try the newly open Einstein Bros Bagels in Monterey Park they very good and I enjoyed very much. I like to try different Bagels bakery who have the best bagel. The definition of a bagel is chewy,soft and cr crust can be soft or lightly crunch. The Bagels Exchange is on Main St when I step into the place it have nice vibe to it a relaxing they very nice display showing the variety kind of bagels they have on site. They serve all kind coffee drinks,and other drinks they make on site. The biggest surprise is they have a 65 or 70 inch flat-screen TV that's is really cool. Bagel Exchange is my go-to for any and all bagels! I stumbled across it last year! I order the exchange on the jalapeno cheddar bagel. It comes with cream cheese, sausage, bacon, egg, and cheese. I add Tapatio to mine because I love spicy. One thing that I do wish is that they had a jalapeno cream cheese option. That would make their bagels 5/5. The portion size is great, and in all honesty, if you eat the whole bagel you'll be full for the rest of the day. If you love bagels. You so need to try the Exchange from Bagel Exchange! If you are a fan of bagels, then give this place a try. I think there are at least 25 bagel flavors to choose from. So many! I liked the Spinach Asiago Cheese Bagel. It had the perfect texture. Inside the bagel was chewy and dense, while outside was slightly crisp and toasted. You can either choose a bagel from the menu or build your own. The Exchange includes ham, bacon, sausage, and cheese. This is probably the best savory bagel you can get here. This is a great place to grab a quick bite or some coffee. Met up with a friend here on a Sunday morning and was very pleasantly surprised to find ample seating! I ordered a blue Thai tea with almond milk, and my friend ordered a coconut latte with oak milk. There are several TVs up, and even a printer you can use to print out your documents. I have been on the hunt to find a place that had bagels similar to Goldsteins. This has been the closest I've found so far. I ordered a plain bagel lightly toasted with cream cheese. The bagels are soft, dense, and chunky just how I like them. The cream cheese was delicious as well. I also ordered viet coffee, which was very strong (in a good way) flavored, and not super sweet and full of sugar like most the ones I've tried. Very impressed with the taste and quality of this establishment. Will def be back. The parking is the only down side and is a bit tricky to find, but the side streets got you covered. Small inside space but its cozy. Came here on a sunday and there's a good amount of seating but it does get a little crowded. The workers are very nice. Place is supposed to make the stock exchange. Which is cute in respect. However, the coffee that was gotten tasted like water. And the bagel that was ordered was also sad. The description that was the closest to it is supermarket bagels. Came here because of all the good review that there is in a place and was walking around the area as it turns out it's not that place so I would not recommend it for anyone I'm not sure if people just haven't had good coffee and boba so they think this is the best or maybe a cheap in their quality since. Tried this spot for the first time and it did NOT disappoint!! I got the beef is sandwich on an everything bagel. Added jalapeño cause I love a lil spice and crunch!! Very affordable and filing. Got the cereal latte. It's ok just a Latte w lucky charms. Nothing special but I did wanna get the cute cup they are out of stock. Loved their cream cheese! But, their bagels. Eh......What happened!? I had it a couple of months ago and it was delicious. I went couple of days ago, I was craving their bagels. They also have specials and limited time items so be on the lookout for those. My favorite is the February Strawberry matcha! But during regular season, I love the ube lattes. My go to bagel has been the lox bagel sandwich if I'm not feeling just a regular flavored bagel with some kind of cream cheese. Price - $$ - The prices here are decent. It is a novelty shop so I wouldn't call this a cheap spot in terms of price point, but I definitely think it is worth it! Plus, this is supporting a local small AAPI owned business! Service - 5/5 - The servers here are all so sweet! If you meet the owner, he's always smiling and makes you feel welcomed. Ambiance - 5/5 - The stock exchange theme is very cute. The vibe of the shop is really lively. They have DJs bumping music so you really get amped up. If you're lucky, you not only catch the owner throwing down a set, but also LA's very own DJ Ghostbear (his sets are my favorite :3 ) This spot is great for socializing and getting your spirits up. the place is cute and decent space if you want to study but can be loud so would recommend headphones. They did have a great playlist tho. It was a little smoky im assuming bc of them toasting bagels all the time but not terrible. The bagel was big and fluffy and tasty. Their avocado was ripe which was great and their egg was nicely seasoned. For some reason my drinks ticket didn't go through so I was waiting for a bit before realizing it was taking a while. Either way the drink was good, not too sweet but I think the ube powder or whatever they use for it wasn't mixed well because toward the end of finishing my drink I noticed some clumps/ pieces of the mixture. Someone recommended I try this place out and today was the day. Verdict? They're okay. Upon entering, I instantly noticed how warm and stuffy it was inside. It felt like there wasn't any airflow or an operating fan/air conditioner.... I get it, they're using the toaster oven and microwave, but it felt uncomfortable in the facility. Customer service was okay, I guess. I paid $10+tax for "The Exchange"- their breakfast bagel sandwich which consisted of an everything bagel, cheese, cream cheese, sausage patty, ham, bacon, and eggs. It was good, but why did it take 30 minutes to make it? After 25 minutes, one employee realized I was pretty much the only one left in the building waiting for my order. I think they forgot.
