Delicious bagels... Pretty authentic to New York City style. Small selection of flavored cream cheeses lots of sandwich options just be prepared for a long wait as they are understaffed. No way in just take out to go More than a 10 minute wait tip have them put 12 bagels in the bag and hand me a tub of cream cheese.

Oh mama you gotta have their tacos! No idea why they began selling tacos at a bagel joint but heck yea I'm glad they did. Also get the Big Al, full of taste and will leave your stomach full. Check out how devious these tacos look...

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Bagel Crust yet, this is long overdue! They have multiple locations and the downtown one on Beaver is the newest. All the locations have the same menu, and the bagels are delicious. I also personally have never experienced any rudeness from the staff like others have mentioned. They also made contactless pick ups super easy and convenient due to the pandemic, which I especially appreciate. It's easy for me to run over and grab my order before my online classes start! Overall, it's a great place to get a quick, quality breakfast sandwich in downtown State College!

Nasty sausage whole wheat everything bagel.

As soon as I took my bagel out of the wrapping, I noticed that it had a funky smell. I shouldn't have taken a bite but I did. I immediately spit out the bite. Something was definitely up with the sausage on the bagel. I also got avocado on the bagel for an $.80 upcharge. It was two tiny slivers of avocado. So all in all, I wasted $9, and now have to find a different breakfast. I'm not sure if the sausage was cooked in old grease or if it was old, or if it was expired sausage, but it was inedible. Bagel itself was also meh. I spit out the first and only bite. They out here acting like they're Wonder Bagel. Not even close. Bagel Crust is gross.

The tinfoil they used for my bagel sandwich smelt like chemicals and made the bagel taste like cleaning spray.

Webster's has a fantastic book selection, and I really don't think I've ever seen prices as cheap as theirs. The bookstore is huge, and there is always something I find to buy. They have an enormous selection of folio editions, a huge Civil War section, and manage to keep cheap paper backs to a minimum. They have occasional events and sales, such as buy 3 get one free, or when a donor drops off a huge stack of books they often put them out at sale prices. The owners are also so so nice and really love books. They will do whatever they can to help you find something you're interested in. I am in love with the space. Piles of books everywhere, sort of chaotic organization, winding bookcases and hidden seating areas - all they need is a cat! You can reserve tables for meetings, but you can also just grab an open one. I actually have never eaten AT the cafe, but I've had their catering quite often and it is really delicious food.

I was impressed by the young barista's skill in making a latte to my preferences, and it was really nice to weave my way around the shelves to see what an algorithm recommendation would normally miss. Not sure about the food, but the book space and coffee are on point.

I was in on the south west side of State College for work today and found TNEC using "local…read morefavorites" search on Yelp. Nice little diner just outside of State College of SR 45. I had a great lunch with an awesome Rueben and shoe string fries. Home made corned beef on an excellent marbled rye. FYI The fries were a little cold. I also considered biscuits and gravy but they don't serve home fries after 11:00, odd for a breakfast all day place. The banana bread French toast also caught my eye so I grabbed a slice of banana bread to go. Service was fast and friendly Prices are in line with the "new normal", sandwich and a drink was $16.

The ambience was bright and clean. Pricing was reasonable. Our server was new and attentive to our experience. The food was OK. My wife asked for her Florentine eggs Benedict to come out hard and they were soft. She had to send them back to the kitchen for additional cook time. My eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly and the ham was good and the highlight of the dish. The hollandaise sauce however was watery and on the cool side. The hashbrowns were average. The star of breakfast was the corned beef hash, simply top notch. We will return for a second experience.
