When I arrived to pick it up, I was told they had no record of the order. Apparently their DoorDash system was down, even though the order still went through online. The owners were very apologetic and quick to try to rectify the situation. The owner explained that he knew they had an on going issue with Door Dash and had attempted to contact DoorDash about the issue but had no luck. I was charged by DoorDash and had to dispute the charge myself. While the owners were kind and the restaurant was clean, the experience was stressful and disappointing, especially when you're working on a tight timeline. Sadly, because of this situation, they lost my business. As for the food, it was fine, but I wasn't particularly blown away by it.

Atmosphere A lot of small businesses in the area are family-owned, sometimes for several generations servicing locals and with that steady stream of business they often tend to overlook or ignore their look as many are worn and dated with old paint, cracked floors, etc. The owners of this place hit the proverbial nail on the head with distressed wood paneling, a wall of brick, and stone flooring. If you live here all of your life you may overlook but as an out of towner the presentation leads to trust. Service The young guy behind the counter is possibly an owner, not sure. He works with enthusiasm rather than annoyance and takes custom orders without a frown or a sigh. Refreshing. The Food - Bagel Sandwich .. I ordered the "Turkey, Egg & Cheese" holding the cheese. The bagel was a different texture than others in the area, more like a cross between baguette and bagel. Mated with an egg and grilled turkey the sandwich was great. Satisfied.
