Ruff INN It - The girls were wiped out after a day of daycare fun

Ruff INN It

I'm so glad we found Ruff INN It! We had plans to be in the tri-cities area and on one day, we…read morewere scheduled to go on a tour that did not allow dogs, so needed to find a dog sitter/boarding in the area and found glowing reviews of Ruff INN It. To schedule an appointment with Ruff INN It, you must first make an account online, which is easy to do. This account allows you to upload your dog's vaccination records and also select a date and time for when your dog needs boarding. Soon after I created this and made a request of our preferred date, an employee called me to confirm the date and asked that since we were new clients, to schedule a meet and greet, which is their policy as they want to ensure that all dogs here are well-behaved and aren't socially aggressive with others. As soon as we came into town, we visited Ruff INN It for our meet and greet where the owner took our dog to the back area to introduce her to the other dogs and see how she reacted. He then invited us to come to the back of the area and see the facility. The facility is split into three different dog groups, depending on size and activity level. Our little dog was grouped with the other small dogs. For all the areas, there's an indoor area where they can sleep in one of the many beds and get water and they all have access to the fenced backyard area with artificial turf where they can play with the toys and balls, run around and go to the bathroom. Tons of space for the babies to play in! We dropped our little girl off at her scheduled appointment and the staff let us know that they would take photos of the dogs and post it on their Facebook for owners to see. When we came to pick her up, the staff let us know how much fun she had with other dogs, playing around. The owners of Ruff INN It are the sweetest people, too. I can't say enough positive words about Ruff INN It! If you're looking for dog boarding in the tri-cities area, this is definitely the spot to go to. Thank you, Ruff INN It!

I had a very disappointing experience during an interview with this company. While on my way to the…read moreinterview, a friend I was traveling with suffered a serious accident that required an ambulance. I stayed with him to ensure he received help, which caused me to arrive approximately 10 minutes late. I explained the circumstances upon arriving, but the response I received was cold and mocking. I was told, "I'm not very impressed, you're dismissed." The interviewer didn't even ask whether my friend was okay. I understand the importance of punctuality and respect an employer's right to choose their preferred candidate. However, I believe professionalism and basic human compassion should go both ways. I was disappointed by the lack of understanding and the way I was spoken to during an already stressful situation. Based on this interaction, I left with a negative impression of the company's approach to treating prospective employees. I hope future applicants are treated with greater courtesy and consideration.

We've had a pest issue going on for almost a year now we've had six different pest companies come out been told multiple different things. I'm so frustrated and fed up That I had to get my daughter's dog out of the house because I felt like she's suffering because what's going on in here I'm trying to handle everything on my own. I was hurt on a job in 21 so this is all just a lot for me to handle Kind people have stepped into help out and they've been a godsend. This is one of the places and they're gonna take really good care of her. She's the closest thing that I have left to my daughter.

I've boarded my dog 3x in the last 2 months (2 one night stays and 1 full week). The most important…read morething is that my dog seems to enjoy his stay! He's never excitedly run inside a place I've boarded him before. They've also been very helpful in testing out suites vs. regular kennel (and they offered to try out the regular kennel (cheaper option) when I originally requested the suite). The staff also remember his allergies when I check in and reconfirm what they can/cant give him without my prompting. He also refuses to eat often, and he has had no problems eating there after a little coaxing with treats the first time he stayed. I feel like they actually take some time to get to know the dogs and enjoy taking care of animals. We will always be going to bnb even if it's a 30 minute drive away.

Both for confirming our appointment, the safety of our and others pets. I may have not accomplished the task had they not called. The property is beautiful and well kept. The indoor area was very clean and welcoming. The staff is amazing and it is obvious they are there for all the right reasons. The fees were half of what we had seen advertised in our own area and as we were on vacation this was so comforting. We really appreciate your services, staff, facilities and loving care for animals. We will be back when in the area or passing by. We will and have referred you to others. Oh and I almost forgot the extra added blessing of a play date. I was ever so happy to pay the small fee of 6.00 so that Jake could go outside to play a game of fetch!

I took my dog here once because it had been recommended by someone…read moreelse. 1) The kennels are TINY and the dogs don't have an indoor/outdoor access 24/7 so they will end up peeing and pooping inside if they aren't let out enough 2) The kennels ECHO like crazy which just makes it SUPER LOUD. The staff even wear hearing protection when they go in there. Can you imagine what this is doing to your dog! 3) They charge EXTRA for "play time". I didn't get a clear answer on this question, but if you don't pay for play time, does your dog even get to go outside during the day at all!? Or are they just stuck in there all the time! 4) Staff was not friendly and didn't want to answer questions 5) The owner (i assume, older guy, retired doctor) has a real "I know better then everyone" attitude. I would not want my puppy stuck in this situation. Much prefer another local kennel which has indoor/outdoor access all the time for the dogs.

I love this place!…read more People that are disappointed and rating Paws To Play poorly, don't understand the big picture. My dogs love going to daycare. They love Al and think that being able to mingle the other dogs is awesome. The daycare does have a routine which they need. It is structured to give all the dogs the best care available. Dogs get to meet and greet the others in a safe way, play as a group while being overseen by the staff and down time when they are ready for a nap. Al and his Staff do a great job. The Staff has to learn about each of the dogs, their likes and dislikes and how to best meet their needs. You try and do that with 20 people or more and I bet you'd fail, and people can talk! Al takes pride in what he does and is completely professional. He is dedicated and is easy to talk to. He will give you suggestions for your dog, only to help you. Sometimes people need to be schooled and not the dog. Dogs are simple and only required a few things, people are complicated. I have learned a lot from Al. He has an excellent Training Course that I would recommend everyone take. If you love your dog, you'll take the time to understand him/her. Anything worth your love takes time, give the time to your dog(s). You'll get the love back 10 fold.

My one pup, little (very little) was a rescue and had lots of anxiety about new things. She literally jumps into their arms when we take her. The big dog, very big, started going to daycare as a 6 month old. She grew up at paws to play and had her share of accidents...she was a goofy pup that ran into things when she played. The staff took such good care of her and helped her grow into a well behaved, loving adult dog. Since we work at home, Paws to Play has allowed us to work and keep the doggies happy and exercised! THANK YOU!
