She eats this same sub every time and no less than 6-8 times per year and loves it. I brought her sub home; she started eating and ended up finding out that there were jalapeno peppers in the sub, which it is not supposed to have. She is HIGHLY allergic to those, and this caused her face and throat to swell up as well as hives. It is very important that you guys, or management/ownership, stress the employees that they need to be careful not to cross contaminate the subs as people have allergies. We opened the rest of the sub in and there were about 4 or 5 of the jalapenos in there. Either someone made it wrong, or they dumped some for another sub and were careless and got them in her sub. Just wanted to bring it to someone's attention as this could have ended up much worse. Two full days later, crickets! You would think that when a place has an issue where there is cross contamination with someone getting sick, they would jump all over the email and reach out to at least discuss it. We have been been mostly happy with this location. The staff is friendly and the food is usually great. We have had a few hiccups where a sub was made partially wrong before (Pickup), but nothing like this. At this point, we will never go back simply because if they don't care, we don't care. It's cheesy, but the lack of tomato sauce and the dough/bread being underwhelming/ weak really ruins the taste experience. Overall, it seems that Gemelli has definitely fallen off in terms of the quality & taste that I've enjoyed previously.
