I ordered in March because the stove comes from Italy and takes 3+ months to arrive. I received a call 9 weeks later stating that the order had never been placed and that they were placing it now. It was for a new construction home and I was on the contractor's predicted deadline. They offered a loaner basic stove for install so that I could close on my house. The stove arrived and was installed by my contractor while I was out of the country. I later received an additional invoice for a conversion kit because they got a natural gas unit instead of a propane unit that I ordered. I was not notified by Setzers nor asked about accepting a nautral gas stove and using an LP conversion. They charged me for the LP conversion. I spent over $10,000. And they wanted additional funds for an error that was not my fault. I asked for Setzers to write off the additional fees due to their company error. When I pointed out the multiple errors, Ray Swab further insulted me rather than providing appropriate customer service when I asked for the additional fee to be absorbed by Setzers since it was not my error (actually multiple errors). He implied it was my fault since the contractor was not quite ready for install upon its arrival and had to wait 2 weeks (I can only provide as accurate information on timelines as I'm given by the contractor.) Buyer beware. I felt like my experience was extremely disappointing and severely lacking in customer service. Take your hard earned money elsewhere as they've proven they don't value it here. I chose to order the rest of my appliances elsewhere after their poor handling of and lack of appreciation for my order, time, and money.

I want pieces that feel flexible, cheerful, and easy to live with. Furniture that does not feel like a lifelong commitment. Furniture I can move myself if I need to. Furniture I can let go of without stress if life shifts. That is not a criticism of Blocker's. It is perspective. If your lifestyle calls for grand, solid, impressive pieces that anchor a large home, especially in Ocala's equistrian ranch culture, you will likely love what they offer. If you are in a season of simplicity, mobility, and lighter living, you may find yourself admiring the scale while realizing you want something different for where you are now. Perspective changes. With the current owner, the pool service has been terrible including last summer when my pool turned green within a few weeks after I left for the summer when I noticed a picture of my pool wasn't included with my weekly report. I asked for the picture of my pool and that's when I found out It had turned green by Pinch A Penny. A prior year when I returned from summer vacation, my pool filter cleaner, O-ring, which is normally at the top of the filter container was laying at the bottom and water was pouring out of the top of my filter cover. I can go on and on, but then I would be writing a book. I think you get the picture, run the other way.

    Edit June 25 (three weeks after initial review): Despite the store owner replying to my Google…read morereview indicating he was going to reach out and "follow up accordingly" (see screenshot), the owner has not reached out and in fact, the owner has since edited his original response to my review and removed the indication he would reach out. Do not give your business to the Silver Springs Blvd. store. I've been a customer at this particular Pinch-A-Penny location for almost three years. I've had my water tested here multiple times, I've purchased chemicals and salt, I purchased a salt system, I've purchased a vacuum system, and I've hired their installers for multiple projects. Up until recently, the service has been great. Unfortunately, after hiring an employee at this particular store to do their "Green to Clean" program, I've been met with multiple unresolved issues. The employee who performed the Green to Clean services promised me two weeks of complimentary cleaning services upon the completion of the program, which I have yet to receive. Again, I was never contacted nor told the program was complete or not, and that cleaning services would begin. The same employee lost the handle to my skimmer basket (see photo), which I immediately brought to the store's attention but so far nobody has addressed it. After the Green to Clean program was complete (I assume was complete, even though nobody communicated with me the status or completion of the program), I took a water sample to a different Pinch-A-Penny location to determine if the chemical levels were balanced (see photo). Unfortunately, the levels were off and I had to spend over $100 on chemicals and salt. This may be normal pool maintenance, however, I was specifically told by multiple individuals at the store that the Green to Clean program includes ALL chemicals and salt as part of the program. Again, I was never told if the program is complete nor when cleaning services would begin following the completion of the program. Leaving this review was the last resort in an attempt to get someone from the store to address my concerns. I've called the store and sent emails. I've been told the store owner is aware and will call be back but unfortunately, it seems as if he is knowingly choosing not to address my concerns. As a result, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I recommend customers practice caution when hiring this store for services.
