I would have thought that with a thicker cut, the zucchini would have required a longer cook time in the oil that would have made the exterior just a tad overdone. To my surprise, both the fish and zucchini were not overdone, and instead just perfect. A nice sprinkle of parmesan cheese added a needed salty profile to the zucchini. As a true roadside shack, there is seating outdoors on old school long wooden picnic tables. I visited after peak lunch time so there was plenty of seating which made my experience pleasant. I sure hope these guys stick around for my next trip up to Maine.
