In fact, we almost drove on, but we wanted to give it a chance. We walked in and they had 2 tables for 4 and a bar area by the window for a few seats. It's a mostly take-out place but we wanted to dine in. It's basically a 2 person show. The woman was very nice and does all the cooking. We ordered beef lo mein, chicken and broccoli with fried rice, hot and sour soup and wonton soup. Our initial impressions were "wow" the portions were huge! We do love leftovers! There were a ton of veggies and meat in both dishes. The veggies could not have been any fresher. They were not soggy and cooked perfectly. The meat was also generous and very tender, not fatty at all. There were even loads of veggies in the soups. I typically don't care for the pork in the fried rice but this pork I was picking out to eat separately. It also was all meat and tender. The food was excellent. Traditional hot tea, soft drinks, beer, and wine are available and the cocktails come in the exotic glasses with all the paper umbrellas and maraschino cherry garnish. I have to say that their food quality and quantity have gotten MUCH better. It's still americanized Chinese food so to expect 5-star dining is an unrealistic expectation. The staff is friendlier and understanding of food allergies. The to-go dishes are taller allowing for more food to be stored. My family and I ordered the General Tso combination plate, the steak low mein combo and the Szechuan chicken combo. Additionally we ordered crab Rangoons and egg rolls. The rice was cooked well, my wife thought it was a bit crunchy for her, the general tso chicken was cooked well and the flavor was good. My son did not complain about his Szechuan chicken, oh and my daughter had the sweet and sour chicken. My wife said the crab Rangoons were a bit on the sweeter side, but they satisfy the craving for them. My daughter loved the egg roll and she typically does not like egg rolls. Overall, I am impressed with the improvement in quality, appearance and quantity. They are still not my local go-to, but if we are looking for something quick and don't want to travel 35 minutes to our favorite Chinese restaurant, they have earned my business back after losing it 2.5 years ago.

The house fried rice is also a big hit, especially for those who like a mixture chicken, beef, & shrimp. It's also very easy to make customizations like eliminating pineapple or peppers or whatever to meet your taste. Their in-store market is also a great find. They have lots of snacks and cooking supplies that you can't find anywhere else in the area. Over the holidays, I picked up some interesting snacks for stocking stuffers, so it's a great place to grab a unique gift or snack.
