Asian Noodle Bowl is new to the Augusta Marketplace. My daughter and I discovered it during a shopping trip and decided to check it out. We were NOT disappointed. I tried the Pho (beef noodle soup) the portion was generous and delicious, the clear beef broth, tender steak, perfectly seasoned meatball, tons of rice noodles and crunchy sprouts. Really warmed me up on a cold January day. My daughter tried the pineapple fried rice - she lost her mind. It was seasoned perfectly with lots of fresh veg, cashews, and of course pineapple. She gushed over how good it was and she should know she's a fried rice snob. The fun part was seeing the robot servers zooming around with the food going from table to table. During a conversation with one of the cooks, he recommended the Shoyu Ramen - so we need to go back for that, it's always a good sign when the cooks make a favorite recommendation. The way it works, you order and pay at the counter, they assign you a table, the food is made fresh to order, drinks are fountain soda self-serve, there is ice water available for free, beer and wine are also offered. You take your seat and the food comes out as it is ready so my pho came first quickly followed by the fried rice. They have a large selection of bubble tea and bottled drinks as well. The restaurant is light and welcoming, it's not crowded, has an upscale café feel, with modern décor and there is wi-fi just as for the password. Plenty of parking in the Marketplace lot. Asian Noodle Bowl was a nice light lunch while we did our shopping. I'm glad to know this little gem of a noodle bar is so close, it would make a quick lunch for working professionals, and I'll be trying the Shoyu Ramen next! Check it out!

Great spot for Asia food in Augusta, you can actually get a good Pho! We went for my daughters Birthday, she really wanted Pho! Nice service at the counter, and the robot server is pretty cool!

First time trying this restaurant and it did not disappoint. It's located right off the 95 and is very easy to get to. The restaurant is clean and very nice inside. The restaurant is very well organized and the service was amazing. Charlie served us and he was great! Charlie was super attentive and after taking our order he made sure we had a freshly cleaned table to dine at. Charlie was very personable and had a smile throughout our interaction. The food was really delicious and served hot and fresh. Uniquely, it was brought out by a very entertaining robot cart. We will definitely visit again our next time in Augusta.

It was a nice spot to stop for a bite to eat while shopping. Staff was very friendly and the food options were decent. They have boba tea which is an all time fave of mine which was one of the reasons I chose this spot. Another reason with it not being a chain restaurant. My ramen was good however the pork belly was a bit too fatty that about half of it wasn't really edible. Crab Rangoon's were good and my husband enjoyed his seaweed salad and beef pho. You order from the counter and your food is brought to you via robot, so if it's really busy, you may not be able to get a table. I grabbed a table when I first walked in so avoided that difficulty, which was great as we had our baby with us. Self serve for drinks and clean up. It was a fun little spot to try in an area new to us!

Asian noodle bowl has such a great selection of food! Try the Brussels sprouts! The broth is amazing in their soups! The owners are amazing too. We frequent their restaurant in Winslow.

My husband and I have been here many times! We love it every time we go, and encourage others to comes as much as they can! When you enter, you place your order at the front register, where they then assign you a place to sit. You can choose side table or booth, and inside or outside. The costumer service was fantastic and they all gave their own personal recommendations! Even the owner was super chatty! He owns the Asian Cafe in Winslow, which I also recommend! The robots that delivered out food are super cute and a fun addition to the restaurant. My husband ordered his favorite, the Wonton Noodle Soup, while I ordered three starters: Thai Rolls, Crab Rangoons, and Gyoza. It came with two sweet and sour sauces and one ginger sauce. There's six Thai rolls per order, five rangoons per order, and six gyoza. To me, for the price and knowing they're made in house, I thoroughly enjoyed my selection. I also tried my Husband's Wonton Noodle Soup, and the wontons were absolutely FANTASTIC!! The portion was big enough we couldn't even finish the soup between the two of us! My drink was the coconut bubble tea with strawberry bubbles. The cups were adorable and seeing them make it was cool! Very sweet, and I'm wanting to try all the flavors they have. Overall a 5/5 star rating. The people were fantastic, the atmosphere was so welcoming and bright and open, and the food was incredible. I can see myself eating here too much in the future!

Ate lunch with my husband here today. Food was out in 5-10 minutes. Everything was SO GOOD!! Definitely going back!

It's okay in a pinch but I've had much better ramen. Weird robots bring the meal to your table.

Time for a little update!…read more It's been a hot minute since we've been back to visit -- four years, actually -- and the fact that this gem still exists says something! This time we brought the whole family for dinner. I'd recommend reservations on weekends since it was packed, but we got seated right away because we planned ahead. Our waitress was top-notch -- high energy, charming, attentive. I'd give her 6 stars if I could! She read our crew well and adapted to each individual at the table -- a skill that clearly came from experience, and it served her (and us) well. Everything we had was great: cocktails, appetizers, dinner -- not a bad thing on the table. But the standouts for me were the Buffalo Cauliflower and the Spicy Shrimp Shio Ramen. For drinks, the seasonal Crazy (whiskey, Amaro Montenegro, beet, cayenne, lemon, egg white) and the Veruca Salt (tequila, coconut, avocado, pineapple, lime) were both incredible. I loved them so much I'm making a special trip back to town during my stay just to have them again ;) Bravo, State Lunch! You've got a fan for life. Book that reservation -- you won't be disappointed.

I got a burger with egg and it was flavorful and well constructed. The garlic Parmesan fries were some of the best I've ever had and I recommend that you add the garlic aioli! Although the other wait staff had feelings about us requesting to sit outside, Ethan was awesome and more than made up for the other staff's prickly response to the request.

My wife ordered the burnt ends and I went with the simmered ribs. We felt the meal portions were a bit on the smaller side, but I also think the pricing reflected that. The meats themselves were tender, but I felt my ribs were overseasoned somewhat. The sweet potato side was outstanding, just wish we had more of that. And the Fire Roasted brussels and artichoke side was burnt, to be honest. Cornbread, however, was extremely tasty. Still, overall, a decent meal, but somewhat inconsistent. 3.5 , rounded up to a 4 Star Yelp rating, IMO. Again, I can't comment about the beer, because we don't consume beer. I really shouldn't say the place had a "Hipster vibe", but it was certainly a unique and cool setting for a casual lunch.

Generally over all beer vs. food the beer was better. We liked 2 of the 4 we tried. The staff is very friendly, kind and accommodating and actually took one of the food items off- we didn't ask and were willing to pay so that was nice. Hubby ordered the "perfect scallop" it was almost inedible due to the amount of salt used. I had the burnt ends with peach/caper berry slaw, Tuscan Mac and cheese and sourdough bread. The burnt ends had good flavor but they were very overdone and dry. Mac and cheese had a good sauce bread was tasty. Neither of us enjoyed the slaw but maybe someone else would have. Overall a neat place to try but unsure if we'll try it again.

Sunday around noon, needed to wait for about 10-15 minutes for a seat on the patio since we didn't have a reservation. The staff were incredibly sweet and the food was out of this world. I think the space is very cozy, with an open kitchen and wood tables and bar. The cute little market in back is wonderful to check out before or after your meal. The staff is absolutely wonderful. So kind and making recommendations along with answering any questions you have. I think for the price of food you are really getting a great deal. Everything is made fresh in house from scratch which you can watch when you sit at the bar which i did. Watching orange juice wbu freshly squeezed and the donuts being put together from absolute scratch. The burger is definitely a great choice, I couldn't get over the house cut fries and the alna sauce was wonderful to dip them in. The burger was juicy and delicious and paired perfectly with the Volcanique red they had on the menu. My mother ordered the grits and eggs, this dish was cooked perfectly and had a house made salsa verde. The side of sourdough is a must get for shareable side. The house made jam was spectacular - they make every sauce and dip and spread in house and you can really tell. It elevates the meal so much. The drinks were a bit overpriced in my opinion but as someone who lives in Portland i wasn't surprised they were priced that way. The standout from the meal was definitely the sour dough donut. This was fried fresh to order and we had the seasonal flavor that was lime glazed and it was absolutely breathtaking! The crispy exterior with the fluffy inside was perfection - you have to order this. I definitely will need to come and check out dinner here. Highly recommend making the trek out!
