We…read morehad initially drove by this place, and decided to keep on going because we assumed it was yet another dispensary on these rural Maine roads. I got a falafel roll, and it was very, very nice. They seemed to read my mind and make about half of it pickled onions. I also tried their kombucha, which was definitely not as good as I was hoping for. Their cornbread, which has maple on top (or something similar, I can't recall) was also not as good as I was expecting it to be. The bathroom is difficult to find and it is bike themed once you get in there. There were not many people at the place and it still took a long time to get the food, but we were not in a hurry so this was totally fine by us and we got to enjoy their lovely seating area outside. I would go back to this place, but if there was anywhere else in this town that looked as good as this place did, I would probably try that first next time. They wraps were, however, fantastic.

I pulled into the parking lot just before 7pm and parked in front of the blue building and walked to the trailer, which also has a meat smoker next to it. The friendly owner walks out of the blue building over to the trailer to meet me to take my order and gives me a laminated menu to review. The menu offers BBQ meats (smoked chicken, pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked ribs), baked beans, cole slaw, mac & cheese, fried chicken sandwich, burgers & fries, smoked chicken salad, deep fried hot dogs, chicken nuggets, and onion rings. I decide on the BBQ Pulled Pork Platter ($11.95 plus tax) with baked beans, cole slaw, and corn bread and a 16 oz Macaroni & Cheese ($7.95 plus tax). My food was prepared to order and brought over to my vehicle in about 10 minutes. The portions of food were great, lots of tender lean pulled pork in a smoky BBQ sauce, sweet baked beans with pork, a sweet chilled cole slaw, and soft sweet moist corn bread which had some crumbles. The mac & cheese was dense and rich with soft elbows in a hot thick orange cheese sauce. I was able to eat half of my dinner and saved the rest for the next evening.

There's a lovely area at the back with picnic tables and a view of the lake. There's also some covered tables out front. The menu is the usual fare - sandwiches (burgers), lobster (this is Maine after all), seafood (haddock, of course). The shrimp scampi was very good - balanced flavor, nothing overpowering. Seasoning was on point. The shrimp basket was well seasoned, not greasy at all and the tartar sauce was the perfect compliment to it. The owner is very nice and chats with all the customers.
