This winery is incredible. Jen is absolutely amazing. This space is perfect for a milestone birthday or a networking event! Definitely more like a tasting space. Beautiful vibe.

Omg i had never tried hard-cider before and the Root Beer one was delicious. The flights they have are great to try.

What a wonderful experience! This winery really feels as if you have been welcomed into Frank and Jen's back patio. A hidden gem, this dog-friendly winery and cider house offers a wide variety of both craft wines and organic ciders. Their rose is not to miss; with a crisp, floral notes this easy drink will sure to be a fan favorite. We also had an opportunity to taste all of their ciders on tap. Using organic and gluten free produce they create a refreshing and unique cider. Our favorites were the Guava, Tangerine and Hoppy Apricot. Feel free to bring your own picnic and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere! They also host private events for 50 or less and we will be planning an event with them soon!

Back Patio Cellars is part of Camarillo's burgeoning micro-winery scene. You're not going to get the beautiful scenery of Napa or Sonoma or a $10 million replica of a medieval Italian castle. What you will get is some damn fine wine made by a passionate local winemaker and you won't have to spend $1500 in travel and lodging costs. Stay local and spend your money on wine. I'm an "other red" wine person, so I won't comment on their whites or their Cab. Their "Patio Red", a Rhone-style GSM blend was excellent as was their Sangiovese. They know what they're doing in the cellar. Frank, the owner and winemaker, and his wife are very welcoming and the tasting room is a nice, cozy, bachelorette party-free zone.

Great wine, great people! Frank and Jen always make you feel welcome and provide a fun and relaxing place to hang out and try their delicious wines. They also have a lot to choose from in their special events. We just took part in their Paint Your Own Wine Label event (our 3rd one) and had a blast! We even brought extra family members along and they had a great time as well, even got a little Cornhole game going as well! Check them out!

$12 for cider tasting, $20 wine tasting. They have both outdoor patio & indoor seating. It's a shop in a small strip so more urban feel, although the walls do help. The ciders are very good and not too sweet!

What a delicious place to have a glass of Pinot Noir with a beautiful couple that at times picks their own grapes and makes wine as a hobby! Definetly stop by to say hello to Frank and enjoy a mellow time in the front of his warehouse patio!

We took a unique "ZenTangle" class - much more unique than the normal "paint & drink" class.

Adorable & clean. Excellent white wine. I will come back to try the Reds. They actually crush here on site!!

The service was wonderful but I did not find a wine to my liking. I think some of the wine needs more cellar time.

Beer selection is good. Could be the holidays distracting the staff or something but the food was not good.

Much to my surprise, it was about as lively as I had remembered it. The Alley was established during Covid times and offered a retreat to escape from the humdrum of the homestead. These days, its friendly vibe welcomes neighbors and visitors with a backyard setting strewn with twinkle lights and family-style tables. It's a causal scene and easy to soak in the live music, sunlight/moonlight, and neighborly banter. The layout resembles an alley with shops on either side, big open doors invite you to grab something to eat, sample a drink, or shop for handmade gifts. On one side, you've got craft brews and coffee roasters. On the other side, it's local wines and piping hot pizzas. Dogs are welcome all around. At the center of it all, there's live music on the weekends. Modeled after a Beer & Wine Garden concept, The Alley features Enegren Brewery (beer), Lucas Sellers (wine), California Coffee Republic (java), Fire & Vice (pizza), and The Craft House (non-alcoholic tchotchkes). As a self-proclaimed wino, I opted for a sampling of the Lucas Sellers Wines. Ashley, who was behind the bar and top of the pours, gave me good suggestions and offered anecdotes about each wine on tap. At the end of the night, my light pinot paired perfectly with the Mushroom Arugula pizza from Fire & Vice. And I felt right at home, surrounded by friends.

Love Herzog. Haven't…read morebeen here in so long, but returned recently for a day of wine and eats for a vendor presentation. Herzog provided everything we needed including breakfast, glassware and amazing lunch options. Not to mention adjustments when the weather shifted. A great layout. Best restroom facilities and information about their amazing winery and its history. I've been part of the Wine & Spirits industry since 2012 on an off and more recently back on + Herzog is one of the best and oldest kosher wineries in the world. Joseph Herzog is an amazing man and the VP of HWC, I met him a few times in the past but it's been YEARS. I didn't get a chance to speak with him directly, but he thanked us for coming out and along with the rest of the Herzon team/family was nothing but welcoming and thoughtful. One of my favorite draws about Herzog overall is that's is 100% vegan friendly as well as kosher, making it suitable for so many people. And Tierra Sur is very vegan friendly - some dishes are vegetarian. Do let they know about allergies and restrictions and they'll do their absolute best to accommodate. Their Alexander Valley wines are some of my favorites for sure.

Parking was plentiful and spacious, the weather was lovely (not raining), and the space is beautiful! Upon entering everyone is very friendly and I was able to find the table easily. Both Alvin and EJ were very attentive to our table, always smiling bright and happy to see us, assuring that we had everything we needed, and made sure our taste testing went smoothly. We were given a wine list and we were able to choose six wines to wine taste from the list. My absolute favorite wines were between the Special Reserve Merlot 2023 Alexander Valley and the Sonoma Loeb Dignitary Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma. These were both excellent and smooth, however, ALL the wines that I taste tested were phenomenal. We also ordered the garlic fries, the buffalo chicken sandwich, and the Mushroom Arancini. I personally loved the Mushroom Arancini the most, very flavorful and perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chicken sandwich was a good portion and easy to share. The garlic fries did not taste very garlicy to me, the creamy sauce on top I wasn't sure if that was supposed to be garlic, but I probably would just get the regular fries next time. Don't forget to take your photo next to the Herzog wine barrels before you leave!
