Best, period enough said , always tasty, just like my family farm meals growing up, selection is many from meats to veggies to salad to desert, most welcome i have ever felt from the bgrouo that eats breakfast on the weekends and visits to Pattie and the ladies serving us Taylor her sisters and they let me sit at same table , funny how i get territorial in my old age. 5 stars cause all uou can award

Here's an example of an area where people eat. Nice and roomy great country music.

Tried this local hidden gem! The atmosphere of the restaurant was great. Nice open tables great windows to look outside and great weight staff. The food is great! They have a mini salad bar : lettuce, tomato, cucumber, beets, potato salad, crab salad, homemade crispy, croutons, and multiple dressings just to say a little bit about the mini salad bar. The main all you can eat food bar : chicken, bog, chicken and dumplings, rice, pulled pork fried to perfection hush puppies fried fish, fried shrimp, Salisbury, steak and gravy, you name it they have it. Everything well spiced and great country flavor. Dessert : banana pudding, Oreo, cookie pie and self-serve ice cream. All you can eat! Great price plus they also offer beverages soda tea. Great local spot give it a try.

After the location was the long standing Prosser's, then the inlet BBQ for a hot minute, now it's Back Home BBQ. It's simple Low Country cooking that will fill your belly with typical southern fare. My two favorite dishes on the buffet were the homemade macaroni and cheese, and probably the best sweet potato casserole I've ever tasted. Arrived just before the local rush of locals, charter Captains, local workers, and tourist. Though there are many restaurants to choose on the famous Murrells Inlet walkway, most are geared for tourists, and charge premium prices to maintain their elaborate establishments. But when you want to eat actual Southern cooking, this is it for the area. Simply Southern BBQ is for Myrtle Beach what Back Home BBQ is for Murrells Inlet. So come down, find a table, get your sweet tea, and enjoy an actual home cooked meal. Cannot give better praise then that!

Barbecue, dumplings, fried shrimp and greens! So many items to pick from but these are my favorite.

Delicious food. Clean restaurant and very nice waitress. Can't beat the price. We drove an hr from Myrtle Beach, can't wait to come again.

Food is always cold on bar. The heating system is just not working. Not sure why it is so hard to get hot food.

This was our first time at this restaurant. We easily found a parking space in the front. We were…read moregreeted warmly when we stepped in the restaurant and out of the sunshine. If you go in the front door there are a few steps to climb. If you need flat entrances they are around back. The host took us to our seats and explained the buffet to us. It is only a buffet place. But you can order a take out as well. There were two tables of food and a dessert table. The salad bar seemed to never end. Everything was cut fresh with no limp vegetables or lettuce. Marilyn brought me coffee and Bev Tea. It was plenty hot and fresh. I absolutely love their coffee. I had two cups before I even finished my plate of food. Marilyn was very attentive to each table and came to ours often. After I finished my salad. I saw Carie filling a plate for someone. When she was done I asked her if she could get me a chicken breast. My joint pain and back pain had been extreme this week. Using the walker was even painful. Carie said, "Absolutely !" She returned quickly and with a smile. The staff is so kind. The manager Tommy came by our table to see how we were enjoying our meal. I let him know the salad bar was perfect. The chicken I enjoyed was tender and juicy. I also noticed the teamwork between the staff was easy and natural like a choreographed dance. Bev and I plan to return for the Easter Sunday Meal. Check this pace out and tell them Willie and Bev sent you. Ms. Willie Conway.

First visit to the Claw House and a good experience overall…read more Service was fantastic. No complaints. Started with Oyster Rock. They were very good and had a lot of flavor. For my main, I went with the Lobster roll and fries. The lobster roll was also very good. A good amount of lobster meat and the bread was very soft and held the meat well. Only complaint was the fries. They were bland and cooked unevenly. Will skip those next time but otherwise a great meal.

A table of 4 sat a few minutes before we did and a table of 6 sat probably 10 minutes after them. Our table and the table of 6 were served before the group of 4 who had to ask a bus boy for service. Yikes! Server was sweet besides the empty non alcoholic beverage glasses she did not fill when our food came out. She didn't come back to check in on us until my husband's 6 bites of dinner were already gone. I asked if the portion is usually that small (especially in comparison to the significantly cheaper - MASSIVE PORTIONS we saw being served all around us) and she politely said "yes. typically, sometimes a little bigger." As someone with a culinary arts degree & kitchen background I was very very very disappointed on the portion size of his entree for the price & sizes of surrounding entrees being served (that were cheaper or around the same price) and it literally ruined my entire experience. A smidge dramatic but the God's honest truth! Great view, beautiful patio, friendly service - just extremely disappointed. I planned to order both of us dessert and immediately skipped out & asked for the check when the server finally came over to ask how our food was. This review is hot & cold because my experience was. Would I recommend it? I'd recommend going for the best oysters in Myrtle and a clean, friendly facility - but that's about all I can say! PS - $3 "destination fee?" Clearly I'm not from around here, but it was the only restaurant from north Myrtle down to Murrells to charge us a fee for eating there as a tourist.

Now, Driftwoods Seafood & Steak is most known for both of those items in their branding but according to my family who I was visiting, they also have an amazing brunch and for Father's Day we opted to head over there directly after Sunday Mass. Driftwoods is about a 20 minute ride from their location and while we arrived just before 9AM there was already a reasonable amount of people waiting ahead of us. Once opened everyone was seated quickly and our server brought us that much needed coffee and it hit the spot. According to the Folks, Driftwood's is known for having an omelet section and you pick what you want in it and they bring it back to you. I was not going to pass this up as I enjoy making omelets when I can find time to do that and I went with cheese, mushrooms and jalapenos. Since there was assorted protein options in the larger buffet I didn't need to add one to the omelet. While I waited to did hit the buffet and selected a small amount of some of their offerings. I find it best to only take a little bit with an all you can eat buffet since that eliminates any waste. I went with some bacon, sausage, cheesy potatoes, mini pancakes and a couple of french toast sticks. With the omelet being eggs, I left the scrambled eggs for other customers. Everything was super tasty and the staff that I encountered across the board were friendly and happy to make sure you were taken care of. They were quick to clear the tables of used dishes so you could go get another and everything was done with a smile. Good hospitality is a guarantee of a return visit. Of course I'd be going home soon so that was not an option for me, but I do hope to return on the next visit. The only downside was Dad's disappointment about their not having corned beef hash this time. He got over it quick enough though and its not going to make the Yelp rating change. If you're down in the area give it a try, I left happy and very full. Nice work Driftwoods. Keep it up.
