We met the chef, Daniele Vespa at a wine tasting just down the path from this Ristorante so we stopped in to try his award winning dish, "Rigatoni Cavalieri Carbonara. The waiter let him know we were there so he sent out a dish of a sardine like fish that was crispy with a delicious sauce that was outstanding. We then had the Rigatoni, it was creamy, cheesey and SUPER DELICIOUS. The bacon bits were crispy, crunchy and extremely tasty, the sauce was great and bread soaking good. The pasta was not too hard and not too soft but perfect. Unfortunately we did not match this great meal with a fine house red wine because we had too much at the wine tasting but everything here was great. When in Rome do as we did and stop here for a great meal and service. Along with the chef coming out to say hello, the waiter spoke fluent Spanish and English. It made for a great evening. read more
