Tried this week's Special "the smokehouse Italiano" and I got my usual Lavender Latte with pistachio milk. 100/10 recommend!

Delicious sandwich and matcha and such nice staff! Highly recommend stopping here. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and it was so protein heavy and tasty.

Tried their seasonal strawberry matcha, chefs kiss! Super good, and not too sweet. My hubby picked it up for me so I didnt get a chance to check out the inside. But outside had a small cute area to eat. Will definitely have to come back and try all their other drinks!

They have different sandwich specials every time I go. I haven't been disappointed in their sandwiches or coffee at all. Don't go hangry because it does take awhile to get your food. You can order ahead of time. I've tried their matcha and specialty lattes. Can't wait to try them all. Parking lot is kinda small. It's in the same plaza as the nest.

Sandwiches are excellent and great portion sizes. The cold sandwich is basically two sandwiches and can be split. Pickle is a nice touch. It took 40 minutes however to get our sandwiches, but they were busy when we arrived. We ate outside in the most perfect weather.

Came here on a whim to get some coffee and decided we needed sandwiches based on the reviews! First off the woman working at the counter was so friendly and helpful! Secondly, the coffee was really really good! Lastly, the food was great! We got a spicy Italian and a turkey sandwich. If you aren't a super hungry 18 year old boy, you could split a sandwich they were huge! I'm not usually one for dressed lettuce on a sandwich but it worked and the bread was the perfect soft and harder crust to hold in all the ingredients. The flavor was great and fresh! The outside eating area is cute. We will be back next time we are in Palm Desert.

I just found one of the deserts best kept secrets. It's called Baby's Marché. This spot is a relatively hidden European inspired sandwich cafe and market in Indian Wells, CA.This cafe though is hiding some of the best sandwiches in the desert (I'd even say So Cal) and their drinks are equally as impressive. Also the staff here are so nice and hospitable. A couple of folks helped me out today but Oliver stood out. Lovely to talk to you Oliver and makes me happy when staff are as passionate about their business as the excited customers ordering are Here's what I got: *Beef Pastrami Panini: 10/10. I can DIE HAPPY. Let's normalize that horseradish aioli on pastrami far surpasses mustard. The foodie community better not come for me but 100% horseradish over mustard with pastrami. This was literally one of the best paninis I've ever had and definitely the BEST pastrami sandwich I've ever had. This sandwich totally blew any "famous" pastrami spot I've ever tried out of the water. The pastrami was so fresh, massive amounts of beef and the fresh toppings of lettuce, tomato, and onions made this an outstanding bite. I'll be dreaming of this bite until I come back (adding to regular desert meal rotation) *Iced Matcha Lemonade: 10/10. This was a lovely matcha lemonade as their lemonade is super refreshing and not too bitter. I also appreciate that they use ceremonial grade matcha and the flavors were on point. Not graining, well executed, a solid refreshing drink to cut the 80+ degrees weather. I also tried their elderflower lemonade which was equally as refreshing and beautiful. The lovely team here threw in some rainbow sprinkle sugar cookies and I was in heaven. Their cookies are buttery and soft. The perfect sweet treat after a massive sandwich. I'll be living in a food coma for the rest of the day but I needed to run here to tell everyone to try Baby's Marché when your down in the desert because this was one of the BEST sandwiches I've ever had and just an all around A+ experience.

Unfortunate hours that mostly cater to retirees or those without traditional 9:00-5:00s as they're only open during the week until 3:00 pm and completely closed on weekends. Was able to try it by catching an order from people already stopping by for a lunch pickup. The Roma Panini was good and pretty filling. It was a large size but there was some oil to it. Get your napkins ready! The lavender lemonade was super refreshing and a nice add-on. I'd get it again and like to try other items off their menu, but will just have to get lucky with the timing.

Still just as great when I first discovered it. Plenty of meats on stock the wagyu ground beef and wagyu Denver steak are a nice take home item too cook yourself. I lean towards the panini items even during a hot summer day with a nice matcha or lavender lemonade (my partners favorite). The folks in the front are so nice and I think recognize me and my friends now so feels comfy for us. There's more seating outside under shade. Limited seating inside.

Mom and I went today at about 1:30. Mom really liked the sandwiches but I didn't. I really don't like sandwiches as a rule so I really should not be reviewing sandwiches. For me I would give it a 3 star and mom would give them at least 4 stars. The size was large and the price was decent so I think that's why most people love it. If you are a sandwich lover you will probably love it here. I didn't like the small space inside to place the order, the small amount of seating available, and the long waiting time to get the sandwich. The lemonade was really good though. Also, they forgot mom's order altogether so they gave us a free cookie which was really nice 45 minutes after ordering her sandwich. Mom and I split so we could taste two kinds . I enjoy the pastrami sandwich at Sherman's deli way more than this one. The chicken club had very thin sliced chicken similar to boars head that you buy in the market deli section. I thought it was a breast because it said slow roasted chicken in the description. Also, When I buy avocado at the market I look for haas from California because I do not like avocados from Mexico. Or non haas avocados. I can tell immediately because the avocado tastes watery instead of rich and creamy . Mine tasted watery so it ruined the sandwich for me along with the thinly sliced chicken. Mom will come back when she feels like a sandwich but it's not for me.

This is my favorite sandwich spot in the desert. Sandwiches are huge and delicious. I'm not a fan of matcha myself, but their matcha lemonade is my favorite!

We arrived at 8 AM on Thursday and sat near the front of the restaurant. There were three other tables occupied at the time. I really enjoyed the Bees' Knees latte. My husband enjoyed his latte and my son had iced coffee. Beverages are served in unique and very pretty porcelain teacups. We ordered the Bananas Foster waffle with sausage patties, the half order of prosciutto avocado toast with eggs on the side, and my son had the chilaquiles. This is the kind of place where you can savor an old time atmosphere with many things to see as you enjoy conversation. This is not a fast food restaurant. The staff are warm and friendly. The half order of prosciutto avocado toast was really delicious. The bread was lovely and dense and could have been toasted a little bit lighter for ease in cutting through the vegetables. (This was easily the perfect size for a meal, and the whole order is equally beautiful and generous.) My husband is still swooning over his lovely waffle and sausage patties. He gave his dish a solid 4 stars and talked about it all the way home. My son had chosen the red chilaquiles which had just the right spice level. The place filled up steadily until we left about an hour and a half later. We have a patio outside, which is receiving a new sunshade and lights. I was sold when I heard about the cafe de olla being made in-house and fresh at that -- she pointed to the vat right behind her. The funny thing? While the retail was still shuttered, the cafés and entertainment spots were already buzzing. That contrast -- empty storefronts on one side, the smell of fresh coffee on the other -- gave the whole place a quiet but inviting vibe. I walked into Xanti's and ordered two drinks: a strong macchiato (because sometimes you just need that punch) and a hot lavender matcha for balance. Total was $11.25, which felt more than fair. I tried paying with a $100 bill, but the barista politely explained they couldn't take it. No stress, no attitude -- just professional and smooth. Service really stood out here. The barista, a friendly guy with calm energy, not only took the order but noticed I'd settled into my phone at the table. A couple of minutes later, he personally brought both drinks over. That simple gesture made the experience feel way more personal than you'd expect from a mall coffee stop. As for the drinks? The macchiato was bold, clean, and exactly the kind of kick I needed. The lavender matcha surprised me -- creamy, floral, not too sweet, just enough to feel like a treat. Together, they struck a perfect balance: one to wake me up, one to slow me down. So yeah, it's technically "just" a coffee spot in a mall, but don't let that fool you. Between the timing, the vibe, and the barista's extra touch, it was one of those experiences that sticks.

That's really what keeps me coming back. The only issue I've run into (twice now) is with takeout, and it's been a little frustrating. The first time I ordered takeout, I waited inside for about 20 minutes. I started noticing people who ordered after me (and were dining in) getting their food before me. When I finally went up to check, my order had just been sitting there the whole time -- no one ever called my name. Gave it another shot today, thinking maybe it was just a one-off. This time I was told to wait outside for takeout and that someone would call me. I got my coffee within the first five minutes, but then waited another 15-20 minutes while, again, people who ordered after me were getting their food. I asked an employee to check, and she brought my order out right away but unfortunately it was cold. So it seems like it had been sitting there again, and no one came out to the takeout area. It's a bummer because the food itself is really good, but the takeout system definitely needs some work. Whether it's calling out names more clearly or having someone dedicated to takeout orders, something needs to be tightened up. So the food is worth it, and I do want to support them. I'll be back this summer to give takeout another shot and see if things have improved.
