    Short rib stuffed shells
    Amanda G.

We came here on a Saturday night for my cousin's birthday. We didn't make reservations so it was expected that the wait for a table would be ridiculous. They told us at least one hour. We gave a phone number and walked to another restaurant in case a table opened up faster there. While we were waiting at the other place, the hosts at BS contacted us and said we're next for a table so we walked back. When we got there, there were two groups waiting and one of them were called to get seated. We asked how much longer and the hosts said that we had to wait another 15 minutes because they had to accommodate a reservation. It was annoying just because they called us and told us our table was ready and then had us come and wait - the other restaurant also had a table waiting for us but we decided not to leave because it was cold out and did not want to walk back. To make matters worse, a couple of guys came in, gave their number, and were called for a table in under 10 minutes. I'm assuming because they were a two-top. It was still frustrating. After returning, a total of five groups of people were say before we finally got a table. Onece we got our table, our server quickly took our order. My cousin had their short rib entrée with mashed and veggies. Her cousin had the power bowl. I ordered the short rib-stuffed shells. I was not expecting whya arrived to the table. It was blanketed under thick cheese, with what looked like, canned gravy poured on top. I tried it and parts were cold. I went for one of the "stuffed shells" and nothing was inside. The pasta tasted undercooked and the entire dish was bland. For $22 I would expect housemade gravy, tender short rib, stuffed shells, and salt. My cousin ate about half of her short rib entrée and her cousin ate about half of her power bowl, also complaining that it as cold. The food came out very quickly for how it's assembled, which also is a red flag. The server graciously took my order off the bill. I declined ordering anything else. We then waited for her to return so we could get the check. She disappeared. I had to go to the host and ask her to find the server. Another person came and disappeared, returning with our actual server. We got the bill, paid and left. I think we were charged gratuity and I wish I checked before paying because I think I got duped into a double gratuity. The vibe of this place is a mix between college kids and ladies' night for the older crowd. The music is too loud and everyone is screaming because they're competing with the too loud music. We could not hear ourselves talk. It was weird to be at a table and have to yell. In Westchester, we have places like this but it's still a restaurant and you're able to hold a conversation. This place doesn't know what it wants to be - A bar? A club? A restaurant? Parking was horrendous, but I did luck out with a spit right across the street. It's playing a game of musical chairs - you're basically driving up and down the street, hoping the car you're near is about to leave. This restaurant was a suggestion from a person that ended up bailing last minute and I wish we took that as a sign. Maybe I'd come back for brunch service but I'm not too keen on that.

This place was amazing. I will start with the ambience. It is a nice size not too big not too small very clean lit up. Nice bar area mini TVs for the game whatever good for groups families's friends kids there was a little party there for the kids, I think a nice space very comfortable. The service was amazing Emily best waitress request when you go there. Rocco is the manager, he was very cool. I didn't drink, but they look like they have some great drinks. I saw some coffee espresso with a fancy machine. They have a full bar with experience bartender. It was good. The menu is simple. They have pizza burgers sandwiches, shrimp calamari little stuff at least what I've seen. Maybe dinner is different but I heard at night. It can be a good time so I would definitely check it out. It's a definitely 10 star joint, but we can only give five star

Had a great time with friends. I was too distracted to take any food pics, but I ate the power bowl, another had the girl dinner and the other had a chicken Caesar wrap. The drinks were fabulous! Great location and great service. Definitely would be back!

One of my favorite additions to Babylon! Babylon needed some modern food and bars and that is exactly what Babylon Social delivers. The scenery looks modern, there are huge tvs, and even food and drink menus have definitely kept up with the times. My drink was super refreshing and my cousin and I could not stop talking about our meals. This was surprisingly easily one of the best eggplant sandwiches I have ever had. The bread was to die for and the eggplant itself was super crispy! I cannot wait to have it again. Great job Babylon Social!!

First time here last night and it is definitely a new kind of vibe! Loved everything about this place. They have the best pizzas bar none to anywhere. Rocco is a great server and an asset to this place. Will be going back often. Great eats and high energy make for a party anytime!

My party of five were seated right away. Granted we had reservations and it was a Thursday. Service impeccable waiter gave great recommendations and took our photos for us. Now for the drinks and food. I recommend everything. You can't go wrong with whatever you order or crave. We shared bits and pieces of each and everything was fresh and tasty. Would absolutely visit again if I'm in the area.

Didn't get to snap a picture of the food but the drinks are great. My boyfriend and I got the wings and a burger. Both were really good. We sat at the bar which we never do but the service was quick and efficient. The bartender did not rush us out which I love. Will be back!

The first time I went there, I was not impressed. However, the second time I was. We started off with an espresso martini... That I was not a fan of because it comes from a machine. The meatball appetizer was delicious and the meatballs were a big size. I had the short rib stuffed shells, which were great. It was just a little messy and sloppy but great flavors. My partner had fish and chips that he enjoyed. But the highlight of the meal was the peanut butter pizza at the end.

Finally checked out Babylon Social for dinner with some friends. It's a beautiful spot and very modern. We started with some drinks and shared a bunch of menu items. We had their special which was a short rib stuffed shells and it was incredible! The median street corn pizza was so different and enjoyable. We also shared the chopped wedged salad and a sandwich. Both fabulous! Our server was great and attentive and had some lovely recommendations for dessert. We opted for the Dubai chocolate egg rolls and the Nutella pizza. We paired those desserts nicely with espresso martinis that were to die for! I cannot wait to go back!

OMG! I so happy I came across this hidden gem. We were in the area checking out a records store and decided to give this place and try and boy ir did not disappoint. Service: 10/10 the staff here is super friendly and attentive. I was able to make reservations online and was greeted and seated immediately. our waitress was so sweet and took the time to answer all my questions about the menu and even make a drink suggestions which was perfect. food: we had the white pizza, this isnt a regular plain white pizza, this is unique in the balance of flavors, quality and freshness. The wings were delicious and 99 cents during football games. We also ordered the sweet potato fries which were delicious. my sister got the seasonal white sangria and she loved it. this place is perfect to watch a game, grab a delicious bite, or a simple date. The decor is pretty cool and I love the updated esthetically pleasing bathrooms.

Vixen Margarita--the best one that I've had outside of Mexico. It is not sweet at all.

I'm writing to brag about this place--Babylon Social serves the best nachos I've ever had! Not even the ones I had while vacationing in Mexico could compare. I added both ground beef and grilled chicken, and the quality really stood out. The beef tasted like it could've been USDA Prime, and the chicken had that fresh, clean flavor you'd expect from organic. Their Margarita is hands down the best I've had on Long Island--strong, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. And their Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini is both delicious and creative, served with "Babylon Social" written on top in foam. If you're ever in Babylon, do yourself a favor and stop in. It's absolutely worth it!

    Vodka Sauce Pizza
    melissa e.

The vodka pizza was delicious and the special cheese dream burger skillet was everything I wanted and more! That should be a permanent menu item haha. The cookie skillet was amazing I just wish there was more of it! The fries and artichoke bottoms I would pass on again but overall everything was excellent. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. It was tight seating and loud because of the bar but if you're looking for some unique, good eats, this place is worth a try!!

Our first server greeted us right away and was friendly. Half way through our visit, we were assigned to another server who obviously did not want to be there... Drinks were good. Food was great. The Thanksgiving Egg Roll special was amazing. We enjoyed the main dishes. I had the meatball salad and my husband got the Hawaiian burger. The cookie skillet dessert was another highlight but the coffee was sludge. Hope the first server gets a portion of the tip because the second girl didn't deserve any of it.

Great pizza. Drinks were a little weak. Drinks have very little alcohol...... especially when you're spending $16-$20 per drink!

    Is Babylon Social kid friendly?

It depends what day and time you go. Most of the times yes, but Friday and Saturday nights, it's probably a little too raucous in there

From the moment you arrive, everything is exceptional. Parking is plentiful, which is always a plus. The restaurant itself is stunning, with beautiful colors and an atmosphere that truly makes you feel like you've been transported to Greece. The service is equally impressive! From the warm welcome at the hostess stand to the attentive and knowledgeable servers. For appetizers, we've tried the octopus, roasted beets, and the lobster gyros. Every dish was outstanding. As someone who loves octopus, I was surprised that the lobster gyros completely stole the show. The flavors were incredibly unique, and every bite was absolute perfection. The seafood here is cooked beautifully. We've had the Lavraki, Tsipoura, and Dover sole, and each one was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. If you're a fan of branzino, I highly recommend trying the Lavraki. The lamb is also fantastic and definitely worth ordering. For dessert, we've only ever ordered the Loukoumades because I just can't bring myself to choose anything else. These golden, crispy dough balls are soaked in a luscious homemade honey syrup and are simply irresistible. When you find perfection, why change it? (I love textures and this dessert give you that) Naxos delivers on every level, food, atmosphere, and service. It's one of those rare restaurants that exceeds expectations every single time, and I can't wait to keep coming back because its so hard to find this level of perfection.

Ambiance was spectacular---they definitely put time and money into the design of the place and it was beautiful. Cons: Just too pricey---mainly for the area. We love spending money on good food but even lowering costs by $5 would go a long way. We also had a lackluster service experience but I hope it was a blunder and not their usual----they forgot to put our mains in so after about 40 minutes following appetizers, I think they remembered. Waiter never came back to ask us if we wanted another drink until the mains finally arrived, we had to ask for water to be refilled. Wasn't very packed so that disappointed us. All in all, because the food was good, we had a nice dinner. Not sure if we will rush back.

We were seated right away inside, which I requested, not knowing what August Summer heat might be. Our server was so sweet, patient, made great recommendations, all of which did not disappoint. We shared the Italian BLT salad and the tomato on Toast to start. The tomato on toast when it came out was a little under whelming, but it was beyond amazing. The tomato's tasted like they had no acid, and were picked straight off the vine out back. I had the ribeye which was perfectly medium rare, so tender, flavorful and a really generous portion. The potatoes were pure velvet, the smoothest and most delicious potato I've ever had. My husband had the past with shrimp and I think lobster? He loved it, was licking the plate clean. They also sent us out a dish of linguini with clams and again, my husband was licking the plate. The pace of all the food coming out was perfect, our server checked on us and the best part of the entire evening, was seeing Rocco! He went around to all the tables, ran food, talked to everyone. I'm not sure that he knew every table in the restaurant personally, but the way he was so kind and nice to everyone, I could assume he did. He smiled and said hello to us every time he passed us, it really made our entire evening. He even took photos with the table next to us when they asked, he could not have been a classier act. We finished with the lemon and hazelnut desserts, both were excellent and I would eat 100 times over. Overall- nothing we ate wasn't 10/10, as was the service. I only wish we lived closer to come back!
