Located on the corner of Glass and Dodson, the gray building is set back from the street a bit and…read moreangled. We were on Glass and drove past it heading toward downtown but saw it easily on the way back. The drive thru is accessed from Dodson. There is a small parking lot as well with about 12 seats under a carport-type cover. The menu is taped to the wall next to the drive up ordering window. The owner was working the window and talked us through what he had left. Although he was out of the pulled pork, he offered to remove the bones from some ribs. My dining partner ordered the ribs. The only two sides were bbq beans and cole slaw. We decided to eat in the covered area even though it was hot out, but the cover offered decent shade. The food was brought out to us in about five minutes by the owner, who also came out a couple times to check on us. The pork without bones was exceptional. Lots of meat, very well seasoned. The sauce was rather sweet. I didn't ask if there was another option, but next time I'll just let the rub provide all the flavor. The meat was tender with a light smoke flavor. Truly excellent. The beans were nothing special. Mine had one small piece of meat. The cole slaw is finely minced and pretty light. There is no tang, but it's not straight mayonnaise based either. It really went well with the pork. The ribs were also outstanding. Fall off the bone tender, moist, and wonderfully flavored. Again, I would forego the sauce but my dining partner liked the addition the sauce made to the flavor of the rub. The same sides, with the same impression. I'm really glad we turned around to find Ms. Tee's. We would not have known what excellent food we missed. Although there are many options for bbq, this place has earned a spot on our rotation.

The first time we had a great server. She explained everything. There was a saxophonist playing. It was nice. Also tried the house wine and got a tour of the area's north yet opened. Parking is always a challenge because the lot next to them only allows them 3-4 spots. The last two times, the entire space was open including outside. There was security which I have no complaints about that. Servers have been consistently nice. However the last time, the kitchen was backed up so much that you had to wait 45 minutes before you could order food. That told me that they weren't prepared for heavy traffic. The second time there was a singer there , Chelsea, Who? She was really good. The last time there was no music or talent there. I had each time the chicken and waffles with grits. Not much else I can eat since I don't eat beef or pork and sadly allergic to fish. I can do sides if need be. The food is really good. Love the waffles as they don't need syrup or anything. The chicken is light and full of flavor as well. I like the spot. Hope there are more menu items for the non red meat eaters. The food is yummy. Servers are great. Will be back with more people. .

To many good options in town. I will say there was plenty of waitresses and they were all sweet and helpful. The food was good. This place just needs some guidance.

We came for Sunday brunch and the wait staff was super friendly and helpful. Quick service and lovely atmosphere. The toasted coconut iced latte is wonderful! The Sunday menu is small but great options - we ordered the shrimp and grits and the chicken salad on focaccia. Very delicious - chicken salad is spicy served w roasted red potato hash. My shrimp and grits could've used a bit more salt but I loved the buttery flavor with chorizo added to the mix - yum yum. I got a piece of gf banana bread to go they said they could grill it for me. Really enjoyed the experience and food here.

You can tell this is little eatery is both family-run and family-friendly. The menu is expansive, and everything sounded pretty good! I appreciate that they had so many gluten-free options as well, which always feels like a luxury when dining in TN. My husband ordered a short stack of the pancakes, which were the star of the morning! Fluffy and full of flavor, a photo of these can probably found in the dictionary entry for pancakes itself. We also tried the biscuits and gravy and the Wakin' Bacon Sammy, both of which hit the spot and were large portions for the price.
