I want to be very clear in my review. I did everything i could to not leave a poor review. I really don't operate this way. My opinion is my own and should not be interpreted as anything but that, my opinion. On 12/20/25 I reached out to Baba's Motorsports about a 2014 BMW 750i they had on their lot. He said to come down, fill out a credit app, and take the car for a test drive. When i got there they were extremely disorganized. Waited about 30 minutes for them to dig the car out I wanted to test drive. Tried to test drive it and it failed to start. At the time i assumed it was a fuel or battery issue because thats what they told me, and they grabbed a jumper box and some gas. Even after that the car still ran poorly. He said it just needed some fresh gas as what he had was old so they ran it to the gas station and back. When they got back, i gave the car my own inspection looking at the tires, the brake pads, the rotors, the exterior and interior of the car, the engine bay (which was power washed and spotless - more to come) and i connected my odb reader to the vehicle to look at past history and codes. They had all been cleared. I test drove the car and it seemed to be ok, albeit the engine was shaking a little bit. I've had my share of BMW's and this car is no stranger to me so i mentioned it to him along with the windshield which needed to be replaced, a rear brake sensor, and the ac blower motor underneath the hood needed fixed. I went ahead with the purchase despite my gut telling me there was more to this car's story as it looked incredibly clean for its age and its mileage was low. It was a good car in my book. The very next week, i brought the car back for the we-owe items listed above. The only things i had done was installed my radar detector, i left my odb reader, and a anker 12v power plug. I gave the keys to the finance lady inside, told them why i was here, and myself and my father left the dealership. I did not hear from them for approximately 10 days until i arrived back on 12/30 only to discover that they said they were having issues financing the car and we needed to figure something out. They were silent for 10 days, no further credit checks had been performed. As far as i knew, i was just picking up my car. They agreed to finance the vehicle directly. I had originally put 4k down on an 11k deal, so i opted to make 3 payments of equal value to pay the remaining balance of the car over a period of 90 days. I work for myself so i signed new paperwork and left for the day. They indicated i could pick up the car the very next day. I want to remind you that they had the only key to the vehicle (I was only given 1 when i purchased it) and the vehicle never left their care. On 12/31 i came to pick up my car. I was given my key and walked to my vehicle to drive off. I immediately noticed that my Radar Detector (an expensive escort mk2 360), its power cable, my anker 12v plug, and my odb reader were all missing. I confronted the owner immediately and told him that the radar detector was attached to the windshield, the anker power plug was in the cigarette outlet, and the odb reader was attached to the odb port when i left the car with them. He asked me to give him a day to find out where they were. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and told him that i would not press charges if my items made an appearance back in my care. Afterall the only ones who had access to my car were them. On Jan 2, 2026 I emailed asking for an update, to which i got no response so i called him. They regularly do not answer their phone so i went down there again. This time he claimed that "his employees would not steal" and it must have been the windshield guys who replaced the windshield. He also made sure to mention that the windshield was very expensive to fix, even though it was a we-owe item to me at the time of the sale and is on my paperwork. None of that mattered to me. What happened to my items in his care did. I told him they left me no choice to file a police report. On feb 4th 2026 the car broke down in the middle of the road on the 101. It went into limp mode and could not idle and was running extremely rough. Given my issues with items going missing out of my car, the fact that i could not trust his word, and the fact the car was broken down, and they were telling me over the phone the car was as-is but to bring it down i opted to take my car to an independent shop and diagnosed since i was close to them and could limp the car to their service center. Elite Bimmer took only a few hours to determine what was wrong with my vehicle and sent me an estimate. The car had two bad oil leaks from both valve covers, oil was seeping out and covering the coil packs and penetrating the cylinder heads where the spark plugs were at. In addition to that, 2 of the 4 motor mounts were broken, the front air suspension was leaking oil and air, and the fuel injector seals were also covered in oil that was leaking out of t read more

This place has lost a bit of it's appeal. I stopped by on a Saturday morning and was not approached by anyone. Cars no longer have a price tag/info stickers on the front. I was on premises a total of 5 mins looking, but no one ever approached. The friendly, welcoming atmosphere I once experienced has now gone. I wish them the best, but I will probably no longer refer anyone to this dealership nor visit it myself. read more

It is a nice car, but hatch won't open in the back and when I took it through the car wash the inside of my car was flooded due to a bad seal on the sunroof. I bought my truck and had to finance the rest because they charge over 1,000 for extras fees. I drove off the lot with a gas leak with my 9month old in the car. The gas leak returned a week later and they said I was out of my coverage time and they wont fix it again. If they were honest they would have fixed it again. When I went they had mechanics but when I needed my car fixed they all of a sudden don't have any mechanics. My daughter who is striving to make ends meet working overtime every week so she could get a car instead of having to find rides from A to B for work, went to this dealership and purchased what she thought to be a good solid vehicle and within a month had to be put in the shop only to find out that the turbo was out as well as the water pump. Oh let me not fail to mention that she also purchased the extended warranty for an extra 2500 that when called and looked at the car will not cover because they stated with all the oil around the turbo this is a pre-existing problem. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED! My daughter was breaking down yesterday feeling defeated, so I took it upon myself to call and speak with the dealership in hopes to get some cooperation and all I recieved was want do you think we should do about it, basically saying DEAL WITH IT! they were supposed to fix the issue with the vehicle I had recently purchased from them but instead they cleared the codes and once the check engine light came back on they insisted they would look at it once they got the replacement for the backup camera that was supposed to be fix before I picked up the vehicle.I Called them over and over about it then they said that their warranty was up and that it is no longer their problem and to go through the gwc warranty that I had purchased. After having my mechanic inspect it, I was informed that the motor mounts needed replacement, the vehicle had an oil leak, and the brakes also required replacement. I contacted the dealership, and they initially agreed to address the issues. When I visited the dealership, they attempted to provide the car I traded in as a loaner. That vehicle was not in safe driving condition, and I could not use it. As a result, I had to take back the recently purchased car despite the oil leak and motor mount problems. Attempts to reach the dealership by call and text went unanswered until we contacted them from an unknown number. We were then told to bring the car in and that a loaner would be available. However, upon arrival, the business was closed. The next day, we were informed that we had been given incorrect information and that no loaner vehicle was available. At this point, I have no clear timeline for when the repairs will be completed, and communication from the dealership has been consistently poor. They were very eager to make the sale, but had I not had my mechanic inspect the vehicle, I would not have known about the motor mount issues or the oil leak. I am now faced with an additional $1,200 in repair costs on top of my $1,500 down payment and the $1,000 trade-in value they provided, simply because I cannot be without a car for an indefinite period. Tried buying a car from them and it was nothing but problems since the beginning. The worst thing is their communication is horrible. If they would of kept us more updated we could have been more patient. Gave a 2,000$ down payment for a car we wanted, got accepted for financing, added insurance to the vehicle. Said we couldnt pick up vehicle for 3 days because they had to fix some issues. After the 3 days they said it was too late for us to come for vehicle and they were closing and said tomorrow (Thursday). Went in the next day and they had us wait 40 minutes to sign final paperwork them they said their system was down and we would have to come back another day. Friday came and they promised us Saturday morning they would have paperwork and vehicle ready and it will take 10 minutes max. I negotiated a 90-day warranty and had the car shipped to Washington State. The warranty was worthless, it didn't cover pre-existing conditions. Baba's knew this but told me different. I paid $7451 for the car and I have had $7000 in repairs done. They didn't stand by the junk they sold me. The pictures on the internet hid several issues including the headliner was trashed. Beware! They scam you into a warranty for more $$ with cars that are salvage and they never get into detail about what's wrong with the car. I drove to Phoenix from Albuquerque to check out a Unicorn Car they had on the lot. I checked it out and LOVED it. The buying process was more like going over to my friend's house, hanging out and shooting the shit, and signing a few papers here and there. I needed my payments to be under $200 per month. BOOM, they came in at $199.99 :P When you buy a used car, it's always a mystery what mechanical issues you're buying with it. I think it's the same risk for dealers. So, they threw in a 90-day full coverage warranty for me for FREE just in case. Incredible. They scored me a loan with a credit union with a very good interest rate. The bad? They have WAY too many cars that interest me. Lots of understated, under the radar unique cars. Next time I need a car, I'll be making that 7 hour drive again to buy from them. I highly recommend Baba's Motorsports in Phoenix! They are a family business and the experience was like buying a car from a favorite uncle. I knew which SUV I wanted and the test drive was great. I did not quite have the cash to pay and told Mr. Atala, the owner, that I'm a public school teacher. He immediately took $1,000 off the price and got his finance company to agree to do a very small loan on an older vehicle. He then disappeared for about 15-20 minutes, reappeared, and told me he had put a brand new battery in the car, which I did not even ask for. He also said he ordered a new windshield and they would install the next day and deliver the car to me! I'm so grateful to have a reliable SUV that will safely get me to and from school each day. Reviews from others are either all good, or all bad. Interesting. We went to Baba's to look at a car which was advertised with 8-10 different posts on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist with a great price. When we arrived at the dealership, we were told it sold the day before. Weeks later, they still have not removed the ads. Another car came up on multiple websites at Baba's. It looks as if both the dealership and their sales staff are posting it independently. I inquired via a FB post through Messenger "when can we test drive this?" I received a response from Valerie to call or message a phone number. I responded that I didn't want to give out my phone number. Valerie then gave an address, saying to ask for Bailey. I then stated that I had a 3 1/2 hour drive, and wanted to be sure it was available before coming out. Only then did Valerie say it was not available, and gave a link to the Baba's website for the current inventory. Again, this is a very favorably priced car, no longer available, with numerous ads on numerous websites still active. read more
