Walking in you get hit with the smell of baked goods, both sweet and savory. Music plays lightly in the background, and the chatter of people having a good time fill the air. You order at the counter, and they bring you your food at a table, or if it's coffee and sweets you get it there and then. Everyone in B's Bake Shoppe was friendly and greeted me with kindness, and a smile. They were extremely willing to ensure I felt welcome, even when flopping my latte order around as my eyes scanned over a delicious sounding special! My iced latte was delicious. I love trying new flavor combinations and the honey cardamon is a win. It has the sweetness, but a stronger bitter taste. This hit the spot for the day. The chocolate fudge brownie is RICH. It's creamy, dense, and tasty! 2 bits is all I could manage, and would definitely share this with friends/family when I bring them with me. The London Fog Macaroon tasted as though it had been in a freezer or fridge open air. It was subtle, but there. As a dessert I don't regularly have I can't say exactly if I'm just not understanding the flavor. I also found this one more crunchy than others that I've had. Past macaroons have been light and fluffy, but somewhat brittle. These were more dense, and crumbled under the first bite. The Turkey Pesto BLT tastes delicious! The greens overwhelmed the flavor at first, and as a personal preference could do with a little less L. But, it is a bLt, so I asked for lettuce ! Overall a delicious sandwich! I stopped by B's Bake Shoppe on Small Business Saturday, and they were hopping. They had a plethora of amazing looking pastries, but I'm a sucker for a basic croissant, so I ordered one with my vanilla latte. The croissant was perfectly flaky, with a delicious buttery flavor you would expect. The coffee was also very good. I will definitely be back to try some other pastries, or maybe even some of their breads. read more

Pastries, croissants, cookies, honey & rosemary biscuits, and a variety of breads, baguettes and focaccia. So hard to choose! Especially for a carb lover. Inside is bright and spacious with lots of tables, the hexagon combs of a bee hive decorating the walls which are shades of yellow and brown like a bee. On a nice day, sit outside and enjoy your meal. Open until 5pm which is rare for a bakery but convenient for those of us needing nourishment in the late afternoon. My wife and I read about B's Bake Shoppe and decided to give this place a try. B's was truly a wonderful surprise. If you live in Canby, OR, you're lucky to have this place. This charming bakery has daily artisan breads, pastries, sandwiches, soup, and great coffee. Having troubles making a decision, my wife eventually decided to try the Maple Pecan Sticky Bun and their English Muffin. The Maple Pecan Sticky Bun is not to missed. This perfectly baked pastry was to die for. It's what a Sticky Bun should be. However, the surprise for me was their English Muffin. This housemade large English Muffin was unlike any English Muffin I've seen before. Large, yet light and complemented perfectly with their house jam. In fact, I had to grab one to go to enjoy the next day. I expect that all the pastries at B's are consistently produced at an extremely high level. Both items were truly sublime. Have been to B's a dozen times now. Have tried most everything on the menu and a few baked goods. If B's was in the city, it would have a line out the door every second of every day. We're lucky to have it in Canby. Cinnamon rolls are to die for. Homemade ice cream bars and tons of baked goods. The breakfast sandwiches are unlike what you'll see most anywhere as well as their sandwiches. There's a style they have that impossible to copy. High quality ingredients, good service. What a wonderful surprise. The owner and her staff are all welcoming and beautiful people. Baking some of the most delicious baked goods I have had this year. I love Bs! Went in this morning for a latte and a bagel. The latte was delicious, and if I can nerd out on the bagel. I had the everything which was perfectly chewy. they have a wonderful everything seasoning which is not only on the top of the bagel but the bottom as well. And I loved that they served it with the cream cheese on the side so you could use as much or as little as you like. Definitely recommend! read more

I love B's Bake Shoppe. Their honey-rosemary biscuits are so good I have a hard time straying from that item when I go in, I had them at my Christmas dinner table and it was everyone's favorite item. I've brought them to work and they get gobbled up. The sticky bun is also incredible and frequently part of my order. I ordered all of my Christmas desserts from them this year- everything was excellent. The cheesecake was just like the cheesecake I grew up with on the east coast, the flourless chocolate cake was so decadent, and the cookies were incredible. Just stopped in looking for some ice cream and found an actual piece of heaven. My friend and I shared a carrot cake and a sticky bun and I took home a sticky bun for my husband she took home macaroons for her family. Grabbed a couple root beers sat on the picnic table outside. David and Bethany the owners we're extremely welcoming and hospitable.
