Taste and service is great, but $8 for a medium smoothie is outrageous, especially when the menu online says it costs $6.75

Great coffee, great customer service! I am a regular, but I have to admit it is a little overpriced!

I really like their Rush Slush. A frozen coffee drink that's not sugary sweet (unless you want flavors added).

A TOTAL HIDDEN GEM -- MY NEW FAVORITE BAKERY IN OREGON CITY!…read more I cannot believe I've lived just 10 minutes away in Gladstone and only just now discovered Small Baking Co. Today I had to run out to Molalla for a plant delivery and, on a whim, typed "bakery" into Maps... and THANK GOODNESS I did, because this place is an absolute treasure! Tucked just off Beavercreek Road near 213, it's hidden among the warehouse spaces -- but trust me, once you turn off the main road, it's right there and so worth the stop. The moment I walked in, I was hit with THE most heavenly smell. You know that warm, cozy, life-is-good kind of aroma? Yeah, that. Fresh cinnamon rolls, hot focaccia, cookies just out of the oven, quiche, sandwiches... it was sensory overload in the best possible way. I genuinely wanted to buy one of everything. I ended up grabbing both focaccias -- the rosemary sea salt (perfection) and their special mascarpone version -- plus a ham & cheese quiche made with locally raised ham from Campfire Farms here in Oregon City. The fact that they source local ingredients whenever possible? Huge bonus. And let me just say... this focaccia might actually be the best thing I've ever tasted. Dipped it in olive oil, herbs, and a drizzle of caramelized onion balsamic and suddenly remembered that simple, high-quality food is pure magic. Inside, the space is ADORABLE -- a beautiful mural, shelves filled with local goods, tea, and giftable goodies. It feels homey, creative, and genuinely cared for. Everything here is freshly baked DAILY, and they're only open Thursday-Saturday, so plan ahead! They're also taking Thanksgiving pie orders (and likely more holiday desserts), so if you want to impress your guests this season, place a preorder ASAP. Trust me. I've been missing Singer Hill Café ever since they closed, and finding a spot with this kind of warmth, quality, and genuinely kind people makes me SO happy. I'm already planning my next visit. So grateful I found this gem -- and I'll absolutely be back again and again.

They had a few scone flavors and breads like pumpkin bread and banana bread. The server was really nice and patient. I decided to get a cheddar and jalapeño biscuit, apple spice scone and chocolate chip cookie. The biscuit was really good. Nice crisp on the exterior and fluffy on the inside. The apple spice scone was my absolute favorite! It was delicious. I would definitely recommend and I can't wait to try more of their menu.

I've always loved supporting Fat Cupcake, which is why this experience was so disappointing…read more I've purchased cupcakes for birthdays and even recommended them to friends--one of my friends even used them for her wedding instead of a traditional cake. Because of that, for my birthday this year I asked my mom to pick up cupcakes for my second grade class--50 mini cupcakes with specific flavors I had chosen. One of my students has a severe egg allergy, so it was extremely important that the vegan cupcakes were clearly separated and labeled. Unfortunately, the experience in the store was very upsetting. The staff member helping my mom was scrolling on her phone the entire time and came across as very rude and dismissive. My mom even asked if she had done something wrong because the employee was being so rude and inconsiderate , but the behavior continued. The boxes were placed on the counter aggressively , and my mom was rung up without much communication. The total came out to about $200 for 50 mini cupcakes, 6 regular-sized ones, a small piece of cake and two cake pops, which felt especially frustrating given the service. After leaving, my mom realized the vegan cupcake had been mixed in with the others and not labeled or separated at all--this is a serious safety concern. She returned to the store to clarify, and the employee took a cupcake from the case and handed it to her in her bare hand, without a box or container, saying, "this one is vegan." My mom had to ask if she was expected to just hold it in her hand. Later that evening, I had to go to a grocery store and purchase a separate set of vegan cupcakes that were clearly packaged and labeled because I no longer felt confident in the safety of what was provided. The lack of care and attention from the staff made it impossible for me to serve my student their cupcakes. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was honestly sad. I've always wanted to support this business, but the lack of care, professionalism, and attention to something as serious as a food allergy was very disappointing--especially after spending so much. I truly hope this business can do better for its customers in the future.

You order at the counter, and they bring you your food at a table, or if it's coffee and sweets you get it there and then. Everyone in B's Bake Shoppe was friendly and greeted me with kindness, and a smile. They were extremely willing to ensure I felt welcome, even when flopping my latte order around as my eyes scanned over a delicious sounding special! My iced latte was delicious. I love trying new flavor combinations and the honey cardamon is a win. It has the sweetness, but a stronger bitter taste. This hit the spot for the day. The chocolate fudge brownie is RICH. It's creamy, dense, and tasty! 2 bits is all I could manage, and would definitely share this with friends/family when I bring them with me. The London Fog Macaroon tasted as though it had been in a freezer or fridge open air. It was subtle, but there. As a dessert I don't regularly have I can't say exactly if I'm just not understanding the flavor. I also found this one more crunchy than others that I've had. Past macaroons have been light and fluffy, but somewhat brittle. These were more dense, and crumbled under the first bite. The Turkey Pesto BLT tastes delicious! The greens overwhelmed the flavor at first, and as a personal preference could do with a little less L. But, it is a bLt, so I asked for lettuce ! Overall a delicious sandwich! I'll be excited to share this little local spot with family and friends in the near future.
