Not sure how I've never written a review for coffee rush before. It's by far my favorite coffee shop in Oregon City. I've had many productive days there. Their staff is always welcoming and helpful, and their bagels and beverages are always stellar. I will say that if you're caffeine sensitive, try a chai or refresher instead of the coffee drinks. Not sure what they put in there but it'll definitely have you bust through the ceiling on a caffeine high, or that might just be me idk. Their sourdough bagels are fantastic, but you have to go early if you want to actually get one, since they sell out pretty early. They also have some fun gelato flavors if you're into that as well. Overall, everyone is sure to find something they'd like. read more

Oregon City is kind of a halfway point for me and a friend to meet so we decided to check this place out for coffee. It's a cute place with lots of seating - tables, couches, bar etc. Friendly staff and it was nice to be able to look at the variety of flavors for coffee drinks without feeling rushed to make a decision, and I had a very sweet and delicious coffee because of that. I figured why not add a bagel with cream cheese and took a breakfast sandwich home to my partner. It's pretty much exactly what you expect from a coffee shop. It was nice to hang out and chat and feel comfortable. Other people were on laptops, playing cards, etc too. It was just a nice environment. read more

We walked in and were greeted by friendly staff and a clean atmosphere. We enjoyed a quick and convenient breakfast. I would recommend the "zippy" which essentially is an upscale hot-pocket, it would be really good if they had salsa available to add on! The bagel sandwich was on par with an average bagel sandwich you can get an any coffee shop. We weren't the biggest fan of the iced coffee, though we will be back to try another flavor. Stopped in for coffee while walking the Antique Fair. They only had two girls working on what could be a busy day as there were several of us getting coffee on a Sunday morning. The Dark Chocolate Mocha was good, nothing super special, and the gelato looked yummy! Not sure if I would stop in again as a single destination, but if in old town downtown Oregon City and wanting coffee, I would. I would say they are pricey but it's about on par with Starbucks. read more

Horrible service. Gave my grandma a flat cappuccino blaming her for not hearing them call it and being disrespectful. Refused to do anything to make it better. Overall amazing! The two women working were helpful and had wonderful customer service. I ordered a brown sugar cinnamon latte which was delicious as well as an egg bagel with a cheddar jalapeño bagel and pepper Jack cheese. Their recommendations were spot on delicious. The price was $14 for food and a large coffee which is incredibly reasonable. Inside is classy and peaceful so the perfect spot to relax with a local artist wall to purchase local artwork if desired. After traveling all over the country, this is one of my favorite spots for sure. read more

Coffee options along Main Street in Oregon City are actually rather sparse. I was looking for a place with indoor seating and that was the only real option, which I would say has at least a dozen tables. I got a vanilla latte that was very good. The price was steep - more expensive than even Starbucks. Staff were friendly and the cafe was clean. I'd come back here again if in the area. read more

I broke down and got myself a pumpkin latte...I almost made it all October without one. I drive by this place every single day and decided to pop in. I also got the breakfast bagel with egg, bacon and pepperjack cheese on a cheese bagel. This was probably the best pumpkin latte I've ever had. My quest to find a great coffeehouse in Oregon City has been a bit of a slog. I've really tried to like Singer Hill and Caufield House, since both use Stumptown beans and are housed in pretty spaces. They are going for the upscale coffee experience, but I've never had a great experience at either. Coffee Rush has become my local favorite by default, but I'm not the biggest fan of their beans. The servers are nice and parking is relatively easy since they have a couple spots in a private lot and meters in downtown O.C. give you 6 minutes for nickle or 30 minutes for a quarter. The space appears comfortable, but I'm usually in a rush, so I've always taken my drinks to go. In Oregon City, I always wish I could combine certain elements from each spot to form a great place. Favorite space - Singer Hill Favorite location - Caufield House Favorite kids drinks - Dutch Bros. Favorite drive-thru - Eden Way My affection still goes to the quaint and quirky Happyrock Coffee Shop just down the way in Gladstone. Nothing in O.C. can quite compare. read more

Hands down the best gelato I've ever had in my life. I didn't even know what stracciatella was until I discovered Coffee Rush. So friendly, the atmosphere is perfect, wall outlets, wifi, clean restrooms not to mention they are open until like 8pm, that's crazy! I was visiting my home town the other day and had some gelato, it was so overpriced and would have gotten twice the amount for less at Coffee Rush. Very generous with gelato as well! In the world of downtown OC, where the law reigns supreme (there is a county courthouse there, natch) there has hardly existed a place where folks could sit, watch the lawyers walk back and forth (because that's what we all want to do, right?) and sip on a decent cup. Thanks to the refurbishment of an old county building, Coffee Rush has built a little haven with a couch and a couple of comfy chairs where locals can chat, meet, even have a small group meeting. The pastries are fresh and ample, the coffee is good - not as much care is given as some of my favorite Hawthorne haunts, but good. The real kicker here is the gelato - freshly made with lovely fruits and berries, the perfect summer evening chiller. Next time I'm in, I'll be asking for a vanilla bean gelato affogato - not on the menu, but it should be! read more

This revamped old county building gets my vote for a great cup of coffee and good people watching in OC. Free Wi-Fi (I know, I know....it's pretty much everywhere in Portland but you're talking Oregon City here so it's definitely a perk), super friendly service, and lots of great pastry choices. What could be better? I haven't had the gelato yet, though there seem to be a good variety to choose from. I have purchased the bread there and it's always wonderful. Cute little coffee shop in downtown Oregon city. I stopped in twice so far because I was waiting for appointments right across the street at a local business. I'm not huge on coffee, I'm more of a tea drinker so of course I had to try my favorite; chai tea latte. It was great! Perfect flavor. The shop has free wifi ( which is really what I came for). Coffee Rush on Main St. is hands down the best place to get coffee in Oregon City. Singer Hill always has a line, and it's ALWAYS a line of people who wait until they get to the register before beginning to think about what they might like, asking their countless, pointless questions about every item on the menu, and then spending 20 minutes trying to find their checkbook and pen. The Courthouse place has the annoying music, and muddled 'is it a bar, restaurant, or coffee shop' vibe. There are always the coffee chain places, which aren't worth mentioning. Coffee Rush has the best customer service, really good coffee, and a clean, spacious atmosphere. And never the annoying long line or wait! read more

I've never had gelato until I went to coffee rush and I can definitely say I do not regret that decision. Their fruit flavors are all made fat and dairy free so it's a perfect choice even for vegans and people who are trying to cut down on fat. The girls at this location don't really tend to the customer when requesting for a coffee made a bit different. Constructive criticism is suppose to be constructive and not taken personally as if your attempt was completely wrong. I next to never ask for something to be fixed or made again as it's usually not that big of a deal. This coffee was horrible. I won't be doing business here again. I've lived in Gladstone for 9 years and have always seen this place, but never went in. We went here waiting for breakfast around the corner. I had a small coffee, which wasn't too bad. They do serve bagels too, which looked good, and so did the gelato. They had comfortable couches to sit on and the place was spaces with many tables to sit too. I liked it. Hands down the gelato is amazing. All made in house and creamy and flavorful. Sandwiches are tasty. Coffee is good if you are ordering a coffee beverage but I wouldn't go for an americano or espresso as I think their shot pulling, temperature and ratio of bean to water needs some work (hence the one star reduction). Could also be the type of coffee they use too; may not be my preference. Usually most better coffee companies will train baristas i.e. Water Avenue Coffee. Always a pleasant staff.
