We want to give a huge thank you to Oaxaca Bakery in Canby for providing the most incredible pastries for our employee Friday breakfast! The fresh conchas and pan dulce were a huge hit--beautifully made, full of flavor, and clearly baked with love. Our team couldn't stop raving about the variety, freshness, and authentic taste. It made for a delicious start to the day and brought smiles all around. Thank you for your commitment to quality and for helping us create such a special moment for our employees. This bakery is amazing! The staff is super friendly. They make fantastic cakes. Pastries are always well stocked. Prices are very reasonable. I called several bakeries in the Portland area looking for a milhojas cake. Someone finally recommended Oaxaca Bakery to me and I'm forever grateful! I've ordered several cakes from them now through the year and every one of them is beautiful. I even order one of my wedding cake here. Stop in and check out what they have stocked each day. It's a super easy place to find parking and a convenient location in the middle of town.

Not the best. Small selection, Panaderia a bit dry, Go to Miranda's in Woodburn instead.

You order at the counter, and they bring you your food at a table, or if it's coffee and sweets you get it there and then. Everyone in B's Bake Shoppe was friendly and greeted me with kindness, and a smile. They were extremely willing to ensure I felt welcome, even when flopping my latte order around as my eyes scanned over a delicious sounding special! My iced latte was delicious. I love trying new flavor combinations and the honey cardamon is a win. It has the sweetness, but a stronger bitter taste. This hit the spot for the day. The chocolate fudge brownie is RICH. It's creamy, dense, and tasty! 2 bits is all I could manage, and would definitely share this with friends/family when I bring them with me. The London Fog Macaroon tasted as though it had been in a freezer or fridge open air. It was subtle, but there. As a dessert I don't regularly have I can't say exactly if I'm just not understanding the flavor. I also found this one more crunchy than others that I've had. Past macaroons have been light and fluffy, but somewhat brittle. These were more dense, and crumbled under the first bite. The Turkey Pesto BLT tastes delicious! The greens overwhelmed the flavor at first, and as a personal preference could do with a little less L. But, it is a bLt, so I asked for lettuce ! Overall a delicious sandwich! I'll be excited to share this little local spot with family and friends in the near future.

The smallish parking lot was almost full when I arrived a little after 2pm, but most people were shopping for shortbread in the shop section. They have an impressive range of different types and flavors of shortbread on offer here. Reservations are required for afternoon tea, and I would recommend calling as opposed to filling out the email form on the website. I walked in to the cozy tearoom and was quickly seated. The room was cozy and the table set with items from Britain. Additionally, they had nice holiday decorations out, which lent a festive air. Service was very friendly, and we never felt neglected, even when the shop was busy. While I waited for my tea companions, I perused the tea selection. Lots of options, from fruity herbals to traditional black teas. My family soon arrived and our tea orders were taken. I went traditional in my selection of PG Tips (a British black tea blend). Each person received their own teapot, with cozy. The teapots stayed hot the entire time, which was nice. We had sugar cubes and milk to add if so desired. Everyone seemed happy with their tea selection, my niece even finished her teapot of blueberry tea. The tea tower of food came out soon after our teas. The sandwich/savory tier had both cucumber and roast beef sandwiches, along with sausage rolls. All were hearty and delicious, and the bread was soft and fresh, not dried out. A tangy mustard sauce complemented the sausage rolls nicely. Then there were three large scones, one plain and one cranberry. These were served with butter, strawberry jam and cream. The top tier consisted of fruit along with lemon curd, chocolate mousse and cream tarts, each with a shortbread base. All delicious and perfectly sized. Their was more than enough food for us, and I ended up taking quite a bit of the scones and savories home with me. The sweets were the biggest hits with my niece. After the tier was removed and boxed up, one more treat was served. It was a delicious combination of chocolate, whipped cream and a brownie base. It earned a thumbs up from my niece. I grabbed a couple shortbread treats for later on my way out. They were all rich and flavorful, as were the leftovers from the tea itself. This was a wonderful holiday treat, and a friendly and tasty introduction to afternoon tea for my niece. I will be back for some more shortbread and another afternoon tea with friends and family. Highly recommended.
