I ordered a GF sampler cake to be sent to San Diego. I ordered at the beginning of February and it shipped Feb 24, that was the only available date so I took it. It was delivered yesterday. It came beautifully packaged with instructions and a hand written card, very nice presentation. There was no ice left which i figured but it was still very cold in the box and to the touch. Of course when i placed the order it was cold and raining, delivery day we've had a heat wave and it's been almost 90 so i was concerned, but as it turns out everything was just fine. We decided to take the key lime section out and freeze the rest. It was delicious. The gf crust is really good. No one else in my family needs to eat gf but they said it was delicious. I'm glad I put the rest in thy freezer otherwise I'm afraid id be eating it with my coffee. It lasts 3 months in the freezer, it probably won't last that long. Will order again! read more

One of the best traditional American cheesecakes I've had. I had the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake. The cheesecake was not too sweet which I loved about it. It was soft and so good. Can't wait to try other flavors. Zupans in Portland also carries their cheese by the slice or can order a whole cheekcake through them. read more

What used to be a coffee joint has turned into a second expanded location for this charming cheesecake store front. The main location is in Albany. This Canby location is run by a Christian family and the mother's online biography is very moving. Typically when I come in, what I can only guess are the kids run the cashier. They were very accommodating with my free birthday slice and another time called me to confirm a scheduled order and thank me for my patronage. I specifically got the raspberry white chocolate and the key lime. Both had wonderful classic flavor profiles, excellent creaminess, and a good ratio between the filling and the crust. If i ever decide to eat in, the vibe is definitely very cute and charming with inspirational signs everywhere. They also serve their cheesecake slices on mix and match China. So adorable! Cheesecake can be a little heavy at times, and some bakers tend to go overboard with decadent ingredients. We were immediately greeted by a friendly young man who gave us samples of their different varieties and told us about each one. Each flavor was better than the next! We had a little 'date day' and headed to Silverton, a town we love for its quirky shops and fun downtown area. Rock shops, pubs, Red Bench Antiques, it's all there. We parked and started walking, and noticed Beloved Cheesecakes. Inside this cozy cheesecake shop, with its walls of signs and advice, is a display case with so many cheesecake varieties! It took me just a minute to choose salted caramel. My husband choose a peanutbutter cheesecake with an oreo crust. We sat down at a cozy table, and saw that in the window table, a young woman with two young girls was having a nice outing as well. There was no rush, no hurry to eat our cheesecake, and I'm glad for that. It was so rich and delicious, with that perfect rich texture and a complementary crust, was superior! We will be back. They didn't mention that it would not be decorated like the advertised photo. I found out after it arrived. With a note saying, of course we can't fully decorate the cake with all the dollops because it's being shipped. I didn't know that. They didn't let you know that decision making tip ahead of time. So I received this big bland looking cake. I'm sure it would have even tasted better with all the flavorful icing and decor. Disappointed! Not worth $100.00. Won't buy again. Been wanting to try the cheesecake here and finally got to today with my mom. After first bite, it sure was tasty. Very tasty. Super smooth and light, kind of airy, and not as thick as the standard cheesecake that I'm used to. And it's not a good/bad thing, I like both thick and this style of cheesecake. Now, cheesecake satisfaction aside, the steep price points are just way too inflated and it's just too much for the average wallet to handle. Don't even think about getting a full pie because that'll really burn a hole. I'm not going to list the prices here, but let's just say, it's unreasonably expensive to the point where it'll be a one time visit for me. Don't get this review totally on the wrong side, as far as cheesecake quality and rating goes, it's five stars, hence the five star review. I'm a fair and honest guy. Just reviewing the cheesecake, it is really good. But, my mom and I can agree it'll be our first & last time in.
