I wasn't expecting much from a small, college town but was pleasantly surprised with the attentive staff and delicious dinner.

Went for a private party, we had the entire top floor to ourselves with our own bartenders- great service. We were served appetizers that were buffet style, which included quesadillas, flatbread, fruit, dips etc. food was good and the atmosphere was very nice. Will return to try the regular service.

This is a Gem in Troy, Alabama and the brunch was so good. You better make sure you have a reservation because the slots fill up fast. We had a large party and I can say we were seated quickly with reservation and the food came out quick also. The vibe was nice as everyone was enjoying meals and family. Upstairs was not open but you can host holiday parties and gatherings there with the space up stairs. They have a full bar and they have many specialty drinks they provide. I had the pimento cheese ball fritters that were so flavorful i had to get another one to fake home. I also had pork rinds and fried green tomato for appetizer / small plate For the main dish i had the country breakfast that came with buttermilk biscuit smothered with sausage gravy, two slices of house smoked bacon , grits and two eggs cooked to order. I also added al la carte chicken breast. CAN YOU TELL I WAS HUNGRY The lady had the Hangover hash that includes tender steak tips sauteed with peppers& onions with fried yukon gold potatoes, topped with an egg cooked to order and she said she loved it EVERYTHING WAS FLAVORFUL, SEASONED WELL TO MY LIKING ! I was stuffed ! Check out the pictures and tell me what u think.

My husband & I were in Troy, AL for a wedding this past weekend. It seems like they're a bit understaffed but we are patient and don't mind to wait for good food. And our food was good! Great even! We both got delicious mac & cheese. My husband got the most tender delicious steak ever. I got salmon which was yummy. My only complaint is the lemon dill sauce just tasted like mustard to both of us-- but it was still okay. My creamed spinach could have been a little thicker, but again, still yummy. Our server was sweet as well. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner and drinks and would recommend B. Graves to anyone in the area in need of a nice dinner out!

    Omelet and Chicken & Waffles

This place is overpriced for absolutely no reason and they styled the place as though its so fancy when the food and the service don't reflect. The omelette was drowning in cheddar cheese and the eggs were so thin, I had to scoop the cheese out. Plate came looking so plain and unseasoned. Waffle looks like a child threw it in the waffle machine and chicken was very greasy. I asked the server some questions about the menu and she knew absolutely nothing. "Excuse me whats in the chicken sandwich?" Response: Uhhh im not sure, probably tomatoes? Overall 2/10 experience

Found this little gem on our road trip through Alabama. Fantastic! Friendly and helpful servers. Very nice bourbon forward mint julep. If you like pimento cheese you've got to try their fritters. The fried pickle chips were also pretty awesome. Servings were so big we shared a Mediterranean seafood pasta entree. Again, amazing. Topped the whole thing off with a piece of homemade peanut butter pie - one of the best I've ever had. Yes. If we're ever in the area again we will come back for sure! My

Save your money and time! 3 of us in our party. It was Troy graduation night...the waitress kept telling us there was a party of 7 and party of 15 slowing the kitchen down...but other than that, lots of empty tables. Seated at 6:40 and we did not get our meal until 8:20ish! Took a long time to get our drinks after ordering; a long time to get our pimento app. We ordered the "chef's special" $28 stuffed chicken w mashed potatoes and green beans....after over an hour waiting for our meals, our waitress informed my hubby the mashed potatoes were out, so they replaced them with French fries. We had 1 plain fettuccine Alfredo; 1 fettuccine Alfredo w grilled chicken. Waited and waited. We finally asked our waitress for the check and she said she asked the chef to drop the fries and get our plates out (after 8pm). Waited and finally our food came out. The $28 "chef's selection" stuffed chicken in the picture was over cooked and dry. Underwhelming with the French fries. The 2 fettucine Alfredo dishes were dried out and not really any sauce to taste and the grilled chicken was overcooked. Our water glasses were dry; no refills....we never really saw our waitress much. B Graves was such a let down to celebrate our child's graduation day! We had high hopes in eating at Troy's only "high end" establishment! $115 down the drain! Save your money.

Excellent food & service. Pimento cheese balls were the best. Can't wait to return again.

a half eaten waffle on a plate

This is my fourth (and last) experience with B Graves. The first time I visited for brunch was absolutely wonderful. The second, there was a roach inches from our table- Still, the food was great despite one of our entrées being cold. During the third visit my partner's food was quite literally covered in oil AFTER explaining while ordering that she has an intolerance to excessive amounts of oil. The waitress also had no clue what was included in the entrées we inquired about and proceeded to openly guess. The fourth time, after giving it one last go, everything seemed fine until I opened up my leftovers and discovered a thin hoop of metal inside of my waffle (pictured). It looks as if something was being shredded or cut and a sliver of metal fell into the batter. This is definitely not any kind of herb or even a hair, it is hard, shiny, and silver. Very disappointed seeing as the restaurant is portrayed as a swanky, upscale establishment. Would not recommend to a stranger at this point.

The menu is simple and limited, but perfect for a homy kind of meal. They offer 1 choice of meat and 2 sides or 1 and 3 sides, and also about 5 choices of specials of the day plus about 4 choices of deserts - we planned for the apple cobbler, but no room in our stomach, unfortunately. Prices are very good, portions were huge. My husband chose chicken fingers and said he never had such a tender chicken. I had the fried shrimp, also very tender inside and crispy outside. The picture I shared was "after" I was finished, so generous the portion is. The ambience is simple but very nice. There are about 3 rooms style; we set in the booth in the front (nice) on the left side, in front of it there's s room with tables, and behind a nicer room with great light, which we will try next time. All customers seem to be returned clients, the happening of the town I guess, very warm and friendly as well as the staff. If you are on the road, great place to stop. If you live near by, well, I'm sure you were there today or will be tomorrow.

They have their meats, sides, a few baskets, salads and kids options. Service here for our table of 11 was amazing- attentive, quick and sweet. Now once my husbands coach explained the menu we picked our meal. Hubby went with the salmon croquettes and two sides, my son went with the chicken tender and fries and my daughter got a side of Mac and cheese. For my lunch I decided to go with the 4 side platter consisting of Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes with gravy, cabbage and beans. The ambiance here definitely gives me simple but cozy vibes with wooden tables and chairs. The food came quickly and was good southern food you'd expect to find.

Seeing the local sports legends memorialized on the venue walls was a neat sight since I grew up watching some of them. Reviews kept saying the food was "fire" and "on point," plus they were close by and had something for everybody, so we figured it was a safe bet. Big mistake. We were told the wait would only be about 10 minutes, which was no issue at all. Then we got the text saying our table was ready... immediately followed by another message saying our name had been removed from the list. We walked inside confused, and one of the employees casually said, "Oh, I took him off." Great start. Once seated, the menu actually looked promising. We ordered two teas and a Pepsi, and somehow even getting drinks turned into a process. One glass apparently had a leak because the napkin underneath it was completely soaked within minutes. Then came the food wait. About 35 minutes for a burger, chicken strips, fish, and etouffee. Nothing complicated. Nothing that should take forever. When the food finally arrived, it was all lukewarm like it had been sitting in the window for ages. My etouffee literally had a film on top because it was cold. The fish was disappointing at best. The waiter specifically asked if medium was okay on the burger, we agreed, and somehow still got a dry, overcooked hockey puck. To top it off, the silverware wasn't even clean. Our waiter checked on us exactly one time during the entire meal. Meanwhile, the bar area was packed and drinks were flying out nonstop, so apparently somebody in the building knew how to do their job. Maybe the bartenders need to teach the rest of the restaurant how customer service works. Overall, if negative stars were possible, this place earned them. Terrible service, cold food, dirty silverware, and an experience that completely killed what should've been a fun night out after the game. Do better.

No one was at the front, and I had to call out for someone simply to be acknowledged. Once seated, our server never introduced themselves or provided their name. The floors were sticky and slippery as though they needed to be mopped. After 10 minutes of waiting while no one was in the restaurant, they finally seated us. I ordered the broccoli and cheese soup, which arrived lukewarm. The cheese was unmelted, and the soup itself was bland and watery--very much like it came straight from a reheated bag rather than being freshly prepared. The salad bar was also underwhelming, with very minimal options available. To add to the inconvenience, there were no salt or pepper shakers on the table. Overall service was lacking. There was little attentiveness to our table throughout the meal, and it took an unusually long time just to receive the bill at the end. This location has definite room for improvement in both service and food quality.
