have called multiple times and emailed multiple times. I needed the instructions for the bed. But now I think I need someone to come fix the bed because there is a piece that wasn't assemble and we have no screws for it. The bed is not secure, it sways forward and back. I need someone to respond to my email or call Their delivery guys came to delivery and assemble my furniture. They said that the headboard was made wrong and they installed it upside down. They told me that the manufacturer made it wrong and that they would need to order a new one!!! They also said they would come back to finishing installing the rest of the bed. My husband came home and just flipped the headboard. The headboard wasn't made wrong, they installed it wrong. I emailed and called them multiple times that my husband fixed the headboard but he couldn't finish putting the bed together because they didn't leave the screws. I asked them to send me a copy of the assemble instructions and the missing screws. They never did! I also want to complain about a huge gash they left in my wall!!! Awful company!!!!!!!!! read more

Unreliable and they lie! They had a scheduled pick up date for which they were no show no call finally a week later they showed up to pick up the item and had a scheduled delivery date. ThAt date cAme and again NO SHOW NO CALL. They finally answered the phone and gave no explanation at all for the prior no show and again rescheduled. The new date arrived and they were once again no show no call. When I finally reached someone he kept repeating I want to be honest with you and let me call you back in an hour. Needless to say the call never came. This has been going on four days since the last scheduled date for delivery . They lied to me and told me the merchandise wAs in a warehouse in Gardena. I paid another company to go there and get my merchandise which they were informed of and agreed on prior to my making this new arrangement. When the company arrived they were informed that my merchandise wAs not there in the Gardena location but somewhere near San Francisco and would be getting to LA on Thursday. This company has still not given me the truth about where my merchandise is and still have not set a delivery date. read more

The very next morning (October 21), just two hours after they opened, I called to undo it. The unit hadn't been rented, and I still had 21 days left that I had already paid for. When I spoke with the manager, Ms. Cynthia, she told me the closure was final because I had signed the vacate form. I explained that it had been less than 24 hours and asked if any exception could be made given the circumstances, but she firmly declined and said there was nothing she could do. Her tone was curt and dismissive. While I understand the importance of company policies, the lack of flexibility or empathy for a genuine mistake was disappointing. Good customer service often means finding reasonable solutions--especially when the customer acted quickly to correct an error and no harm was done to the business. I hope Gardena Self Storage management reconsiders how they handle such situations and empowers their staff to respond with more understanding and professionalism. Everyone makes mistakes, and I tried to fix mine right away. I wasn't asking for special treatment--just a little understanding and fairness. The lack of compassion and willingness to help was extremely disappointing. I left the conversation feeling dismissed and undervalued, and it's an experience I won't forget. The unit was clean and the grounds were well maintained. The access hours are very limited and they are not big on providing excellent customer service.

They do such an incredibly thorough inspection of every item - catching defects that most people wouldn't see so that we can handle replacements and repairs before items arrive at our clients house. I had a very expensive cabinet coming from LA, and I live in Presidio area of San Diego where I was concerned a large truck could even make it down my street (and out again), but they offered to transfer it to a pick-up as to avoid any potential issues (at no extra charge).
