Once we stepped inside this cozy establishment, it almost felt like a diner, with fun painted tables. Our table had Elsa & Anna on it! Their menu is outstanding, offering plenty of different loaded poutines. Poutine is typically fries, gravy, and cheese curds. So I decided on La Scooby, which had meats, a Caesar salad dressing, and fried pickles on top! The flavors all worked together so well! This was my first poutine experience and by far my favorite. This place is REVELATION! I have never eaten such good burgers and not only the meat is fresh, juicy and tasty, it's also halal! Best of all worlds (ps: try the Farcy it's heaven on earth). Not to mention the fries and the poutine which taste amazing... I always end up getting a trio burger-poutine because it's waaaaay too tempting, though I know I can't finish it! Fresh cheese curds (to be expected here) and fries had a good texture (just enough bite to it, soft and pillowy on the inside). Would highly recommend, great price for a large portion as well!

We went around noon on a Saturday, luckily were able to find a spot to sit. This restaurant is very small and narrow, there are about 20 seated places, most of them at the bar. Better to grab and go as the atmosphere is noisy and cramped. We tried the "tit double" double cheeseburger, the chili burger, patty melt and sides of chili fries and "cantine" fries which had queso and big mac style sauce. Food is delicious, greasy, salty, well seasoned and fresh, fast to order and receive. The "tit" short for "petit" (small) double cheeseburger was definitely on the smaller side, for around $8.75 a decent price, but I was expecting something kind of monstrous and decadent by the photos. The burger is smaller than it looks compared to similar places. The fries are perfect for sharing. I noticed in Google reviews some people mentioned the fries were overdone, kind of burnt or crispy. I did notice this as well, however perhaps this is done for a reason. As most of their french fry dishes are covered in sauces, like poutine, chili, or queso, a slighter firmer crisper fry will hold its shape better and won't result in a soggy mess. Ideal for take out as you can still enjoy the texture of the potato minutes later. I would come back to try some of their other smash burgers but taking a star away for the location and comfort factor. There is only street parking, and such limited seating that you can't come in large groups or truly enjoy a sit down experience.
