We were standing first in line in front of the counter waiting for the employee in question to take our order...to our surprise he just ignored us and took an order from the next customer...not only that he also took an order from the second customer and it was not until I asked him if we can order, he then says I thought you already ordered in a very rude tone...no apology nothing...on top of that we ordered the spicy potatoes (batata harra) and he gave us regular fries. When we told him that we wanted spicy potatoes he said I already prepared the fries...he then made us pay for both regular fries and spicy potatoes... Other than that the chicken shawarma was no better than other shawarmas we had during our stay in the city. The wrap was full of lettuce and little bit of chicken shawarma. As it's located near the security entrance it's quite busy and a bit noisy. Because anyone can access the place seating area, you can see people sitting and chatting without necessarily having eaten there. Maybe they can have an employee control access to avoid having people wait too long for tables to clear. In addition, tables were not clean and we had to ask multiple times to clean a table for us. I like Paramount food in Toronto, but I think this location at the Montreal airport needs some attention to provide the great service they have in Ontario. Nothing was ever needed, nor had to ask for anything either. I started with the Caesar Salad, which was a good portion and the dressing was incredible. We didn't have lunch, so I inhaled it. Their rolls came out warm with a side of butter, also delicious and had a nice bite to it. I went with the Linguine Gigi, and asked if it could be prepare with no mushrooms. Totally no issues, and when it came out it was piping hot, al dente to perfection, and the sauce was so tasty I almost took the last roll and drug it through the bowl. (I didn't!) my colleague went with chicken parm, came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. For dessert my colleague had the tiramisu. I got the chocolate mousse. Mine was plated beautifully and was light; flavorful, and insanely delicious. My colleague was so happy he chose the tiramisu. I wish I caught names, but I'll do it next time.
