5B Auto Sales - Business Card

5B Auto Sales

This is the review I was asked to leave while still on the lot.... Stating they were great…read more That was 3 weeks ago. Keep in mind I still have 20 days left on my temporary tag. While on the lot I was gaslit on a few issues I noticed. We are a family with a disabled veteran and a handicapped elder and needed a reliable larger vehicle to transport wheelchair and such. I have since had the car looked at and have found out it will cost double what I paid for it to have it fixed. When I went back to the lot I was told not to worry that the owner would work with me, even had me go a few doors down to their mechanic. 3 days later Isiah calls me back, basically talks down to me and tells me it was sold as is and they hold no responsibility to do anything, I am on my own.

I hadn't actually planned to visit 5B Auto Sales for any reason. However, the dealership I did…read morevisit didn't have many cars available. He mentioned 5B Auto Sales as a close location to check out. He did warn that he had heard bad stories about 5B Auto Sales, but still said we should look. So, we decided to at least check it out. Well, now I know he was right about hearing bad stories!! It was a typical visit to a small car lot with cheesy dealers!! The Owner, Isaiah, was what you would call a Smooth-Fast Talker. All he did was talk-up his business & how he buys cars at auctions, and how the prices are up right now. He also just had to mention how many cars he sells per week... 50... He claims to sell 50 cars per week!! Ain't no way!! All this BS went on for about 20 minutes. And trust me, most of it was complete BS!! And let me tell you, this guy CAN TALK!! He doesn't even take a breath. Apparently, a stupid car salesman tactic. After hearing about Isaiah's "Fabulous Car Lot" for 20 minutes, he FINALLY decides to ask what we were looking for.... A car, duh!! Not your life story!! So, we had the normal conversation about cars, credit & money. Well, like any crooked salesman, he swore up & down that he could put me in a car!! I told him my credit score and that I could only put down $500 at the time. Again, he swore up & down that he could get me a car. Off to the office we went.... he asked me for my license, pay stubs & bank info. I said I didn't have that stuff on me, but could get what he needed off my phone. Well, when he asked for access to my bank account.... that's when I said I would need to think about things first. Why would HE need to access MY bank account?!?!? So, we left. Days later, I decided to fill out their online Credit Application to see if he could actually help me. So, the next day I get a text from Sue saying she was working on my application. She asked me what I could put down, and I said $500 again, and she tells me I would need at least $1,000 down. I told her that was not possible. She then asked if I could get a Co-Signer..... If I had a Co-Signer, I would NOT be at your tiny little lot dealing with nonsense!!! I really wanted to say that, but didn't. I thanked her for her help & said goodbye. Not more than 30 minutes later, I get a text from Isaiah asking me questions. I basically told him the same info. Mind you, this is the guy that SWORE to put me in a car. I told him I had already spoken to Sue & advised what we discussed. Why does he not know this?? Do they not communicate on who is working on an application?? So, he strings me along on text message, commenting when it was convenient for him. He then asks, do you have a trade? I said yes, but it doesn't run. He asked, what type of car, what is wrong with it and I told him. About 30 minutes later, he replies "Okay, thanks". WTF?!?!? I gave up on this pathetic "Car Dealership"!! Be warned, this place is like most.... They will promise you the world, then you get nothing but wasted time!! Even though he claims to sell 50 cars PER WEEK!! LOL!!! Yea, right.

Brought in an 2022 F250 for service on 8-25-25 at 10 am…read moreaccording to their on-line scheduling system. We picked up the truck on 8-27 without any service being performed. Here's the story: We tried to call the service department numerous times throughout the two days without luck. No one picked up the phone after the operator transferred the call to the service department and the calls eventually (after 6 or more rings) went to voice mail. We received no call backs nor any text messages on maintenance status. That was strange. We drove to the dealership on 8-27 and the service gal said they didn't get to the truck yet and it's still in the parking lot and if you want to take it--here are the keys. My husband around the lot looking for the truck .....to no avail. It was only after I made my presence known in the sales room--quite loudly in fact-- did a sales guy run into the service department and excitedly ask if my husband was there to pick up his truck and only then was another gal dispatched to locate our truck and deliver it to the service door. We are giving this dealership one star because of their disregard for keeping the customer informed on maintenance status and then how they treated the customer when he came to pick up the vehicle. No apologies. No 'let us make it right for you', no car wash --just here are the keys and good luck finding the vehicle. This is customer obsession? Other dealerships can eat this dealer alive on this aspect alone. And we bought this truck brand new from these folks.

Do not buy a car from this dealership owner group!…read more I wish I could give 0 stars because I would. I went in to this dealership on 3/9/2024 to look at a vehicle for sale. After getting an offer, I decided to wait and try and do a private sale on my car instead of the trade-in offer that they gave me. Rick, the salesman contacted me regularly through the rest of March asking how the process was going (he wanted the sale). On 4/5/2024 at 5:25 pm, he sent me a text with a new price on the vehicle. When I called the next day, I discovered that Rick was off work that day and the guy I spoke with said that the price was actually $6k higher than what Rick sent me. When I mentioned that I received this text, the guy said that it didn't matter what Rick sent me. This is clear evidence of a bait-and-switch sales tactic. In fact, this "deal" was worse than what I was offered back in March. This is actually my second bad experience from this dealership owner group. 10+ years ago, I had a bad experience with their service department. I thought I would give them another chance. Boy, was I wrong!

I have to post about our car buying experience at Buckeye Motor Sales. We were in a really bad…read moresituation and had just been hit by an 18 wheeler -- our almost paid off car totaled in a matter of a few days. I looked on Car Gurus and found a car that really impressed me and I inquired. The next day I called and talked to Steve and was immediately struck by how in depth he was about the car. He listened to my situation and let me tell him what we needed. We discussed the car and had several conversations that day and it was no time at all and we were approved by various lenders and we were arranging to drive to Delaware to finalize the purchase. Unfortunately I became really sick and couldn't make the trip for a few days and Steve was more concerned about my health than the sale. Which is not surprising since he is not a typical salesman. We came today, finalized the deal, signed, sealed, and after a few hours home with our new 2014 Chevy Cruze and it is JUST what we were looking for. 100,000 miles less than our totaled car, great payment and 1st payment not due for a month. Beautiful car, clean, great gas mileage, and so happy to say this Made in America and Made in Ohio car is Ours. Thank you Steve -- you have been a wonderful help to us. Thank you Sharon for your help and providing us excellent service. You are a great team and we highly recommend Buckeye Motor Sales and Steve and Sharon to anyone needing a new ride.
