The people who moved us were great and flexible w the time of day however the communication of what was included for the price was a little confusing. We had a two bedroom apartment (one room was an office) that was about 60-70% done after two hours. I have hired movers before and they continued until everything was moved, however this company had a two hour limit for the cost rather than a flat rate until the job was complete. I would be more than happy to pay more to finish the job but since it was evening it didn't sound like an option. My rec is to shop around and compare prices or book more than two hours just in cIt's not a lot of time even for an apartment for two people using an elevator, etc. I moved for the same amount of things, for the same price, and it took 3-4 hours last time. read more

I found B&R via Uhual's MovingHelp.com. They seem like a group of entrepreneurial friends trying to establish a small business. We moved from CO to WA and were dreading the process, but Blake and Mo (and Beni) made the second half of the journey so much less stressful. They are not your large-international moving company with their own fleet and heavy equipments, but they are resourceful and resilient (I accidentally jammed the door and locked them out). Beni was doing the scheduling and coordination for my appointment, he was communicative and calling/texting days prior, the day of, and after the appointment. Before Blake and Mo's arrival, Blake also called ahead to set expectations giving me an understanding of the process. During the move, we had fun chatting and moving stuff (yes I helped because I needed to log a few more squats for the day). Even though I was helping, Blake and Mo did not shy away from moving the heavy stuff. They were efficient and fun to interact with. I moved to Washington and had my stuff put in a pod and sent here after me. We hired B&R through Hireahelper, but I realized that I had accidentally booked for a week later! I called and not only were they amazing and sweet, they sent people out right away and walked me through the cancellation and rebooking process with ease. We paid via Zelle, but they had a myriad of options. The movers were sweet, respectful, and skilled. We have a very large hutch that needed to be moved up a flight of stairs with a 180° turn and they handled it with no problems. I booked these guys through U-Haul and was very satisfied! Anil and Blake were friendly, hard-working, and proactive. I was mostly ready but not totally, and they did an excellent job of working around me, helping me prioritize what to do next, and getting it all loaded for me. I didn't think there was any chance my couch and table would fit, I was going to leave them behind....but Anil and Blake got them in. Beni and R. were terrific help delivering and unloading our cross-country UBox. Great communication the day before and day of--they were delayed at the UHaul center, but kept us informed the whole time. Showed up with big smiles and great energy. Quickly and easily unloaded the UBox, and cheerfully took every box to the rooms we requested. We haven't seen any signs of damage from the entire move, which is a minor miracle! The guys came in with an awesome and fun energy and got straight to work packing and moving everything away. They hauled the big and complicated stuff with no issue and even dealt with the complicated stair situation at my girlfriends apartment. We were cracking jokes while moving everything which made for a great time. I started to organize the truck in a very poor way, and they stepped in to pack everything perfectly. Nothing budges in the truck and everything was cared for during the move. 10/10 experience, wouldn't want anyone else helping with the move! read more

I hired them through U-Haul and they only brought 2 of the 3 U-boxes I ordered and loaded my $5000 refrigerator into the back of a truck to drive it to a storage facility in another city where they THEN loaded it into my 3rd Ubox. They did not secure the refrigerator inside the U-box, just shoved other items and packs of blankets in front of it, with one big strap to hold everything. Upon arrival at my destination, we found major damage to one of the doors. U-haul would not help and told me to work directly with the movers. Still no resolution, even though Beni told me he would take care of it. Now I am just being ignored. Probably will have to go to Small Claims court. read more

They were accommodating and hard working despite the many moving parts to our move. Found this company on uhaul website. They were very professional and very helpful. They communicated regularly and stayed in touch with the move. I rented the truck myself. I only had a studio sized amount of boxes to move with some beds. The issue was being on the second floor. Moving companies were charging fees to get their trucks to you and back to their offices (insane prices) I only had to pay UHAUL 55$. The fee for moving was completely separate BUT these saved the day. For 2 hours, they charged me a decent amount. They were also very courteous and thoughtful. Thank you so much read more

I hired 2 people for 2 hours from B&R through Uhaul for loading during my move from Seattle to Spokane. They are the most unprofessional movers I've ever seen in my life. We had a lightly furnished 2BR apartment, and we already packed all the stuff and had an elevator and loading dock reserved. All they had to do was load the items in the truck. It took them 3 hours to load a 15 ft Uhaul. One guy seemed like a trainee and he was just roaming around and didn't know what he was doing. They were carrying one item at a time individually rather than using a dolly. After 3 hours they charged me for an extra hour and left when there were still 20 percent items left to be loaded. After that, we did some loading ourselves, but there was not enough space left in the truck. Later during unloading, we found out that there was plenty of space left in the front of the truck (Mom's attic was completely empty). Just to give you an idea of how inefficient these guys were, at our destination the same items were unloaded by a different mover (2 people) in less than 1.5 hours, that too on a 3rd floor and without an elevator. We had to leave some items behind and again come back the next day from Spokane to Seattle (~5 hrs each way). Had B&R sent some decent movers and utilized the space properly we wouldn't have to come back again. I would strongly discourage hiring B&R and recommend hiring some reputed ones. That will save you time, money, and energy. read more
