DO NOT waste you time or money going to B&R. Two weeks ago I went there for a hood and a fender in a very common color for my bmw. Nancy at the front desk showed me a picture of the car and I agreed it was the correct color and paid for the parts. She left out that they were coming from Corvallis Oregon. Fast forward a week later and I get a text saying the parts are ready. I drive out there first thing in the morning and the hood is still not there AND the fender is the complete wrong color. Nancy tells me she CANNOT guarantee the color and there would be a 20% restock fee. Luckily a guy with common sense behind the counter heard our conversation and told me there would be no restock and they would order the correct color fender and have it there with my hood in a few days. Last night I get a phone call saying my parts are ready for pickup. So this morning I get in my truck and drive 40 minutes to graham only to be told that the hood is in fact STILL not there. I demand a refund. Nancy tells me she is going to charge a 20% restock fee I tell her no the hell she isn't and that diesel is $7.00 a gallon and they have wasted enough of my time. She then asked if I used a credit card and when I answered yes she immediately told me to have a nice day. No receipt no nothing. It's insane to me they have such good reviews on google. I called and was able to speak to a real human, Nathalie. She got me the right part, (side mirror for a Ford Flex), that had MANY options that could have made it the wrong part. But, as our son says, "Nathalie knows what she is talking about". Also, if you do call B&R, and talk to an AI "person" on the phone describing what you need, they actually call back with a real person on the line. 100% would use them again. "Wrecking yards", "Salvage Yards", "Auto Recycling" places are sometimes not for the faint of heart, but they have done me, and my sons well. Polite and easy to talk to. read more

They sold me an engine that they say has no issues, but they didn't remove the oil filter which showed evidence of large metal debris in the crankcase and oil delivery system. the metal was from the oil pump / balance shaft assembly. they removed the oil pan but somehow missed the broken oil pump and debris in the oil. but had no problem taking my money anyway. when I asked for a refund I was told by a "sales professional" that she thinks I should just install it because they have video of it running and it had good compression. I have I'll be taking them to small claims. If I could give negative starts, I would. STAY AWAY! No integrity AT ALL!! read more

I called B&R when they opened this morning to check if a part for my project car was available (it was), and then purchased it over the phone. They said it would be ready to pick up in about an hour and to come before closing at 4 PM. I live an hour away, so this was not a problem at all. Cut to a few hours later when I get there and I'm told by an extremely rude sales rep (with stickers all over his computer professing a "customer obsession") that I was lying about picking it up that day and it would be at least 24-72 hours before the part would be ready for pick up. I explained what was said over the phone and he begrudgingly got someone to work the order. After waiting for 45 minutes, I was called back to the front and told "your part was sold to someone else before you got here to pick it up. Do you want a refund?" Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the act of paying for something mean it's no longer for sale? I wasted about three hours of my day and drove 100 miles round trip to get this part and they sold it out from underneath me. I will never do business with this company again. Also: in violation of the Washington State requirement that everyone wear masks two of the three employees up front where not wearing a mask. read more

My Mazda 626 transmission went out on the freeway, driving to Oregon this year. I bought a CD4E transmission from B&R, which they delivered. Because there is little that can be tested on transmission units before they are installed, it was recommended to add a 6 month warranty, which I did. The unit was bad. Having followed all the install requirements, I contacted asking how long I had to get the unit back to them. It was advised sooner than later, naturally. It took two months for me to make arrangements to have a new unit, and remove the bad unit. The unit was returned to B&R, inspected, and the purchase price was refunded quickly. For covid times especially, there was no problems with this transaction. There was no run around, and Chip stayed in constant communication through the whole process. Top notch business! This was a horrible experience. I called to see if they have a silver hood for a Honda Civic. Very simple either yes or no and I spoke to a girl. I then ask to have it reserved i call later then Im speaking to some guy and double check that this hood is grey. I wanted to have him be sure it was silver and they guy said "yeah it's grey" and i tell him "grey ? I don't want a grey one i want a silver" then he says "yes it is silver sorry about that it's silver you have nothing to worry about. I pay for the hood and he says he has a policy they don't do returns because of colors and i ask him again a that's fine but your saying this hood is silver and not grey right & he confirms it's silver and not grey with no damage. They had to order the hood from a different spot and the hood arrived at their location 2 days later. I sent my brother to pick up the hood because I was working and it's an hour drive from where I live. My brother calls me saying its a grey hood and it's dented in the front and it's very noticeable. Im hella pissed. I understand you have a no color policy for parts but is this a fucking joke ?! I feel like it was a setup knowing they have that policy. Fuck they even put notes to assure it's silver & I bet you anything that the guy I was on the phone knew but he lied knowing they have the no return because of color policy. They told my brother we could return the hood because of the damage and it was really noticeable. So they give receipt to my brother and tell him the money will be refunded. That's was on Saturday 1/11/2020 and will refund the money on Monday. On Monday they call me and it was the same guy who sold me the hood and tells me because of the no color policy they are charging 20% of what they charged me. Because of the shipping and handling. So pretty much this guy lied to me and made me pay for a hood knowing it was the wrong color and i had to pay the guys who dented the hood too. Great ! That was so stupid. This whole experience could have been avoided if they just told you from the beginning the color but they decide to lie and take your money and charge you to give it back. I posted pictures of the different colors. Worst experience ever buying something from here. I would never recommend coming here. The door was right next to the office so I don't think it should have taken that long but I did finally get it and it's a nice part. This was my second drive here which is an hour each time. Shady. Explained how my rear seat belts were operating in my Dodge Caravan. They wouldn't lock when jerked or pulled all the way out. I asked if this was normal and was told no and their salesman was quick to sell me 4 of them. As it turns out, that's exactly how they're supposed to operate. The fronts lock when pulled, the rear are a different type that only lock when in a collision or with hard breaking but move freely during normal travel. Was accused of having them pulled and shipped multiple times, only had the one order. Called when I discovered they did the same thing, was transfered to the salesman. Left a message and never got a call back. Drove in and they took them back but charged me $40 restocking fee and accused me of wasting their time. Two hours of driving, no call back, and $200 worth of parts I didn't even need-- they wasted my time! "We're going to take these back for you but we are going to charge you a restocking fee for going through the hassle of pulling them and shipping them and pulling them and shipping them again." Ummm, that didn't happen. There are plenty of other places to shop for used parts, and I definitely won't be back to B&R. read more

My experience started off excellently. I was able to negotiate the price for my product (transmission) and was very happy with the process and price. Unfortunately, that is where the experienced changed. The product was advertised with an A rating but it did not work and had to be exchanged. I shared that I needed to take a trip and needed a quick turnaround but the process to determine it was not my mechanics error did not happen quick enough for a new part to be issued and installed. Thus I had to rent a vehicle and my mechanic had to do double work. Although the warranty on the product covered the replacement part, because of the faulty first part, over $3000 in additional expenses were incurred. When I asked B&R to make things right, I was basically told I'm sorry but that is not our problem and was sent the warranty information. Now I do understand they went by the book and that is their prerogative. However, it goes a long way to make things right with customers when they are put out as a result of your actions especially because with the additional expense I could have purchased a new transmission. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with B&R again and I would expect those referrals will not be happening moving forward. read more

The rim on my car got bent amd I was without a car, so I went online to see if I could find one at B &R in Graham. I was able to easily find the part and pay for it online and the following day I went to take it off and I didn't realize that they closed early on Saturdays. It was after 4 PM and they were so kind as to actually go pull the part off for me despite it being a few minutes past closing . I wish I had gotten the name of the kind employee who chose to do that for me so I could thank him by first name here. I would have had to have gone without a vehicle all weekend weekend if not for him. I am a delivery driver so that would've cost me a lot of my income for the week. Had the exact part I needed so I put an offer in and the next business day my offer was accepted and processing. They emailed me saying it was ready and called the next day to confirm I was notified. Once I got there the line moved pretty quick, they seem to be training a few new people. Gave them the email saying it's done and just like that my boy Dan goes and works on it. He brings out the part to me exactly as pictured and helped me haul it to my car. Overall took 20 minutes. Came exactly as described and pictured. Only way you can have a bad experience with them is if you don't look at what you're buying carefully. They are junk cars anyway. They seemed on it with making sure every customer was addressed. Been waiting 15 mins, nothing. Went in to complain, clerk said "oh let me call them again cuz they still haven't picked up the order." I continue waiting outside. 15 mins later, went in again, "oh they're working on it." Waited outside 10 mins later, saw a lady with paperwork in her hand. She said she's waiting for that forklift.
