Honestly I didn't want to go there. My headlight and oil change was needed to be done but the price was ridiculous. we were in hurry to get it fixed, my bd told me the price came out to $500 for lightbulbs and for my electrical check and my bd was in a hurry to get it done and we couldn't find a mother and father shop right away and they are more honest and the price if you wanna pay or not and they'll let you know you know that. We had our car diagnosed before and it cost less or free. We needed to see if we have electrical problems with the headlights. What they did was just replace a lightbulbs. Which we could've done ourselves that alone cost less. Full service?! Very expensive and brand name for show. Not likely to go there. You can find a honest shop and get charge less for good service and experience. read more

I came in missing a lug nut on one of my aftermarket wheels and was really in a pinch for time because I had a long drive ahead of me. Mario was very helpful. They didn't carry the aftermarket size but told me exactly where to go to get the right one. I came back and he installed it right away and also checked the rest of the lug nuts to make sure everything was torqued properly. I don't typically post reviews, but my experience with firestone was completely unacceptable. Over 7 days and 11 total hours, they first diagnosed a coolant leak and insisted I needed a new water pump, charging me a diagnostic fee and payment. After driving 88 miles, the issue recurred. I returned the vehicle. They charged me again for diagnostics, and this time claimed "hoses need replacement". Once they replaced the hoses the leak stopped. To me , Firestone should have started with the simplest, least expensive fix: replacing the hoses. rather than jumping to replacing the pump. I felt gouged, charged twice for diagnostics, and left believing they were "throwing darts" at my wallet. I've seen similar stories and will be reporting my experience to the Better Business Bureau. I won't return and strongly advise caution if you're dealing with complex repairs. Start with a second opinion elsewhere. D. Sullivan read more

In August I took my car in for issues with my back brakes and calipers. They replaced both and did a complete inspection. Two days ago (Oct 17) I was driving home in rush hour traffic on I5 and my brakes went out again. Pedal straight to the floor... After having it towed to Firestone they called and said "is there anyone who would mess with your brakes?? This doesn't just happen... ?" ... the front caliper bolt was gone on one side and sheered on the other. Well... nobody has put my car on a jack since they did in August. I don't know much but it would only make sense that they loosened the bolts when they did the inspection and forgot to tighten them. Of course when we picked it up they changed the story and said "this just happens with time".... But it doesn't! We have spent over 5k at Firestone in the last few months and will NEVER go back or recommend them to anyone! read more

Check engine light was on. Had the scanner technician run the test for 100 plus dollars. Came back and said my throttle assembly came back as needing replacement. I get it that the codes came back negative for the assembly but how about you check the assembly? They did not. Told me it was going to cost over 2000 to fix. I did not have them fix it. Took it 2 other auto techs from local repair shops. They ran tests with no problems on the scanner and checked the assembly. Everything came back fine. Staff was amazing and quick! I was by the Firestone on 176th to bring my car in the morning and they could do an alignment without an appointment. I get there and was told they were overbooked and so should have made an appointment but they could try to squeeze me in at noon and be done with it by 5 pm.Called over to the one on 171st and they get me in right away. 30 min later I was on the road again! I scheduled an oil change for my vehicle and the customer service was pleasant, friendly, and was able to fit me in as a drop-off for same-day service. However, upon pickup of the vehicle, I noticed the check oil light was still on once I returned home. Upon calling I was told to come by and they will correct the issue which should have been checked before pickup. I returned to the store the following day and again friendly customer service; however, they did not know how to turn off the check oil light and stated that they were swamped and could not fix it today. This was the second time I have been here and had issues. The first time I was told my lower drip pan was leaking and I had a cracked head on my 2018 pickup and gave me an expensive quote. I declined the service and had the Ford dealership examine it. Upon the dealership check, there was no leak on the lower drip pan and no cracked head. They said it was just oil that was spilled during an oil change. The dealership cleaned the oil off and ensured there wasn't a leak. I won't be going back to Firestone for any other service or purchase. read more

Had an appointment schedule at 11 am for a one tire install, it is now 4:44pm when they told me it would be 2-3 hours to replace one tire. I would highly not recommend this place as my appointment was scheduled two weeks in advance. Plenty of ample time to honor appointments scheduled. Very poor customer service, very poor communication and reliability. Update: 5:13pm they said it will be done about 6:30pm which is 30 minutes beyond their shop time closing time. They said if I wasn't here they would leave the car outside and unlocked as it was not their responsibility. Please do not visit this Firestone location unless they fix their staffing issues, customer service, and accountability. read more

I'll never come back to this Firestone. I've been here 3 separate times, each time with similar experiences. Long stories short, this Firestone consistently takes excessive amounts of time just to get around to looking at your vehicle. They won't call you as soon as they've looked at it, and they'll require additional excess hours for the service, they'll charge much more than I've experienced for services at other shops, and they'll recommend extra services just to see if they can get more money out of you. Each time I've been here it has taken them at least 3 hours just to look at my vehicle despite my appointment times. Save yourself many hours and don't come to this Firestone. read more

I appreciate the team at this specific Firestone for top notch customer service. I have a weird clicking noise on my Subaru Outback when turning. I called and asked about a diagnostic test. The representative said there's no need and that they would do a full service check for $10. I took the car in. 1 individual took a look on the first day. Couldn't find anything to raise a red flag, but knew the sound isn't normal. Requested to keep overnight to have more eyes on it. The next day 3-4 team members including the manager had eyes on the car. No 1 could find anything. Firestone called and recommended to take it into the dealership. They had said the service check was free & that they had some guesses, but didn't feel comfortable providing any recommendations as they didn't feel confident that their recommendations would solve the issue. So has an account here so unfortunately my car and his is taken here all the damn time. Every single time I leave there's something new wrong with my car. Well this last time I had my friend's car until there to fix it because we assumed it needed a new starter. Now we're two females. I don't know for sure ....I just know the damn thing won't start. Well when I called in I spoke to the manager and I asked him how much it would be to replace the starter he gave me the number and I asked if they could do it today he said yes. Well I called them before the car got there and said to the manager to make sure to call me before they do anything to the car cuz we want to be sure it is the freaking starter. Never called me. I called back. Was told that it wasn't done or even looked at yet. And again nobody called me once they decided to look at it. My friend calls and explain the situation and explain that the account is not hers but the vehicle is and she wa just wondering what is going on with it. So they took her number down to let her know when they looked at it and figured everything out right. They call her the next day ,her, not me or my dad, tell her they replaced the starter but it's still not turning over. So they wanted to know they could run a diagnostic on it. Why the hell didn't anybody call and ask that before they did anything to it.? Then they called her back and asked if they could replace the alternator because that's what it was. Granted this is not her account. She has no ability to give the okay to add any additional work on to that vehicle because it is not her account. And they knew this because they spoke to her. They also told her there was thousands of dollars more of work that needed to be done $300 something dollars replace the spark plugs that I can change myself. She said no. She told him she had a new alternator and it had a lifetime warranty. And she wanted to know why they didn't run a diagnostic or ask to run one before they touched it. They said that whoever dropped it off denied the request .....well that's funny because a tow truck driver dropped it off..... so I don't think he denied the request and nobody ever called me to tell me or ask anything. So then she was told that if she went and got the alternator that even though they're not supposed to, they would install it for her. She told him I'm not paying for that. Whoever she talked to said they would install it for free. So she said ok. So they didn't install it for free it was $300 something dollsts..... which I didn't authorize and neither did my dad...and yhe cost of the diagnostic. So one issue is that they are letting people who have no authority to add any charging to that account, add whatever they want basically. She got out of thousand dollars of the work and my dad would have to pay it because he agreed to pay for the work done on her car..... but even when there's work done on MY car, i still have to okay it before they can do anything extra to it. I am the only authorized user on my dad's Firestone account so I'm very very confused why they're letting random people who even confirm the account doesn't belong to them approved charges and want them to approve over a thousands of dollars worth of extra charges. And then, who the hell is lying and trying to cover their ass? Because nobody denied a diagnostic to be done because nobody ever asked anybody. I deal with Firestone all the time I know exactly how it works with them. Not once have they ever fixed my car from my word alone or for me bringing a diagnostic from autozone. I am told every single damn time they have to run a diagnostic. But now they're saying that I requested them replaced the starter and denied a diagnostic to be ran? Why would I deny that to be ran? The problem is they never asked me they never called me like they were supposed to. I requested to call me when they got the car looked at and they said we will. So now my friends ain't $1,000 that she was my dad for something that could have cost her $200 at most how they just done their damn job right. Oh and when I called the first time some disrespectful little shit had answered the phone, and all I said was the make model of the car and he immediately starts raising his voice to me and start saying" before you start getting all mad and getting an attitude" And I said excuse me are you going to let me even say anything at all and he just starts yelling in the phone and then he hangs up on me. DID NOT LISTEN! Came in for an oil change and service check, before a trip. I first checked the oil which did not really need a change. Told them repeatedly NOT to check the tires, because this had just been done at Costco, where I got them. Costco uses Nitrogen, so I was concerned and checked my three green air caps, noting that the one black one was on back left. Realized I should have told them not to rotate tires, either, as it had just been done, after years waiting to get the milage up to that point. I don't drive much. This oversite was my fault. Now I have an appointment with Costco to unrotated them. Because of the position of the black cap, I am not sure they rotated them, although they said they did. The cap is still in the back left. My tires show more wear in back, which I would expect, after Costco's rotation, with engine in front, more air pressure in front, and all wheel drive. In calling and questioning this, I was told they put air in my tires, exactly what I SAID NOT TO DO. At least three times I told the gal not to check the tires. She said she had that. Then, I learn they put AIR in the tires. AIR NOT "NITRO". They have always had ONLY NITROGEN. So, yeah, I am a little pissed off that they would not follow my instructions. Besides that, they told me I needed $1600 of repairs. When I called and asked my mechanic whether I needed to postpone my trip, he, knowing my car and the amount I drive, said he would not be concerned about it. I brought in for a brake inspection. 9:45, still waiting. Finally, I had to go up and ask another tech sitting at the window. They quoted me a ridiculous price so I refused. My Fiancé brought her car here because she saw a screw in one of her tires and after holding onto her car for over 4 hours informed her that they could not fix it as it was too close to the sidewall and she would have to buy at least 2 new tires as her car was all wheel drive. Her car is almost new and only had 4400 miles on it. She said she had to think about it as spending over 400 dollars was a bit of a shock. I proceeded to take her car the next day to S&S tires on Canyon road and they said if the tire was unfixable there was no need to by two as there was no wear on the tires. They then pulled it into the shop and in 5 minutes pulled out the screw, which had not even punctured the tire and was barely in the tread and did not charge me at all. Firestone tried to take advantage of my Fiancé and her situation and we will NEVER go back and recommend all single females to avoid this place and their predatory sales tactics. read more

I called & made an appointment yesterday & was told they'd check my brakes, it'd take 1 hour & to be there at 9. I show up, nothing was scheduled. Not anymore!! I have had an issue the last 3 times I have had them change my oil and rotate tires. 2 different times they didn't rotate my tires; I know because I mark my tires before going in. The last time I got my car back the air in ALL the tires was low, 30 psi, supposed to be 35 psi. They were not low when I dropped it off. What is going on with this branch!!! read more

I had a Firestone employee try to date rape me and chose to use different firestone recently and I had the Firestone n 171st in puyalup try and rip me off due to me being a woman that doesn't know much about cars. I then used a 3rd Firestone and things were awesome! I recently decided to see what it would cost to fix p my sons old car for him and drive it to Arizona and surprise him! I accidently used the wrog Firestone on 171st and I told the guy my speedometer wasn't woeill's and theyrking but I had pulled out a fue because it keptmaking a beeping sound. He told me $100 to look at the speedometer and 100 to look at the fuses prior to doing the original $20 look over at the car. I told hiim that was a rip off and asked for the phone number for headquarters and he refused to give me the number and me back my key stateing that he "remembered me from the other store" (where I met the guy that busted out my front window and attemted to force himself on me sexually) Great to know Firestone doesn't victim shame or deny a car worked on for a decent price to females! I went down the street when I left to O'Reily's auto parts an the Firestne's thtd they put my fuse back in and EVERYTHING works just fine on my dash...FOR FREE!!!! $200 I saved because Firestone sees women as SUCKERS!!! Firestone used to be a safe place for a woman to go but NOT ANYMORE!! The area manager "CJ" ever called after sent the police report to him , he never had the guy pay for the window and now he's and his employees are denying me service. DO NOT TRUST the Firestone's in CJ's district the employee's are more interested in gouging women for all they can than any of the stores I've dealt with over the last 20 years elsewhere! read more

I went in last week to get all new tires. Doing so they completed an alignment check and we scheduled an alignment for this week. After dropping off my vehicle I was then called and told I needed an aftermarket rear camber nut in order to complete the alignment and that they where going to charge me an additional $180.00. I feel like because of my lack of automotive knowledge that they where trying to take advantage of me. Even when addressing the issue to the managers they sounded very unprofessional and like they got caught trying to up sell an unnecessary product. I feel like this place has had some negative reviews, so I need to share my positives! I purchased tires here for my Honda Civic. I found a coupon online, had them ordered, brought the car in and was in and out in a few hours. Service was excellent. The person at the counter gave me some useful information on my tires tread, what to expect in certain driving conditions etc.. all in all, good experience, no complaints! Fast forward nine months later. Coming back from Mt. Rainier I hit something that destroyed my tire, like actually put a gaping hole in it! It was 5:30 when we got into Puyallup and the store closed at 6:00. I knew I'd be cutting it very close! I needed to get this fixed, because I was driving to Bellingham the following morning and did not want to be stuck doing 50mph in the slow lane on my spare! The woman at the counter was very helpful. They took my tire in at 5:45, luckily they were able to patch it for me. It did take some time, but the point of the story is I was still there at almost 6:30 when they were CLOSED, but they made sure to fix my tire for me while I waited. They easily could have said "We're closing soon, come back tomorrow," but they didn't, without hesitation they fixed it! Also, my key fob was cracked, I was waiting on the new one from Amazon to deliver that same week. The guy who fixed my tire also took the time to tape up my key fob so when I put my key in the ignition, it didn't break off. Overall the customer service has really been top notch! I spent $1001 on tires with a 50000 mile limited warranty and a battery here. After 6000 miles my low air pressure light came on. I returned to what I though would be to fix a flat or to get air. They told me I needed to buy tires again due to a bulge. I see no bulge and the tires still look new. They want to charge me another $550 for new tires with only a 40000 mile limited and would not warranty the existing tires. They are scam artists. read more
