I recently lost my gas cap by leaving it ontop of my car. I thought autozone would be a good fast choice. Stopped in was helped as i had been by some younger guys. No issue much like the past. About 150 miles later i started getting a EVAP code. Number one reason is GAS CAP! Today i came in to return or buy a new one that hopefully worked. Talked to the manager anthony. I explained what happened. And then said What else could it be. Meaning mechanics Start with the easy stuff then get into the hard to diagnose things. Which is the gas cap. So instead of just getting me the needed gas cap he wanted to argue what it could also be. Like im going to pull My purge valve and check it instead of just replacing the gas cap then going from there. I hope he enjoyed it cause everytime i come in me and my pals will be sure to give this nitwit a hard time. You might know what your talking about. But any real mechanic starts with the EASY OBVIOUS answer. Which was not what you wanted me to do. You wanted to sell more parts send me down a wild rabbit hole. Do yourself a favor like ive learned in the past. head to O'Riellys where they even agreed its more then likely the gas cap. Which the manager admitted has been an issue more then once and caused this EXACT issue im having. This guy is a clown. It is, frankly, hard to understand why auto parts stores like this remain in business. Recently, I stopped in to purchase two replacement headlight bulbs for my daughter's car. I knew from the outset that I could purchase the bulbs on Amazon and have them delivered the next day but, as she needed to have the bulbs replaced before nightfall, I compromised and went to AutoZone instead - my mistake. I first checked with the guy at the counter, to confirm that the part number I had was correct; he checked his computer, confirmed it, and then told me to look for the number in the upper right hand corner of the package. (He could, of course, have walked to the bulb section of the store and found it along with me, but that would have involved some effort on his part- silly me for expecting actual customer service.) I found the bulbs I needed - $20 on Amazon, $29 here - and brought them to the counter to purchase. Same guy checked me out, didn't offer a bag nor say thank you, and promptly resumed his conversation with another staff member. Next time, I'll order the bulbs on Amazon and give the kid a ride to work for a day. It will be cheaper and make for a far more pleasant experience than shopping here. This isn't a one-off experience with AutoZone, by the way. Not long ago, I needed to replace one of the little plastic tabs that hold up the insulation panel under the hood of my car. On-line I could buy a dozen for $6; at AutoZone, I could buy two for $6. Ridiculous. read more

As a woman I like to be educated on what is wrong when a light goes on in my car. They workers are always helpful to help and talk me through what can be wrong. This is helpful when I take my car to garage I know what maybe needed. So I am not talked into something that isn't needed. read more

I had rented a part for autozone and came back to return it. Instead of getting greeted I was opened with "what do you want". First off he didn't have a mask on, if I have to wear one you should too, especially if there are signs posted at your door saying state mandate a mask to enter. I told him I'm just here to return a part. I had the receipt and the part, that was fine. Next he asked for a phone number, and I told him I don't know if I have one with y'all, he said "you need to have one to return". I ended up giving him an old one that worked. That wants the part that bothered me. Up until this point this associate "Lee B." Was coming across very rude and unprofessional given the establishment you work.The many times I've been here I've always been let down, treated like a nuisance for being a customer. Just know no amount of money will make me walk into this autozone, nor any at that ever again. I will take my money to your competition. read more

I had and incredible experience today when visiting AutoZone in Fredrickson. I walked in with a problem and walked out with a solution all because of the Amazing customer service that I experienced. We are all in tough times and our communities are experiencing tough circumstances that we are not used to. I have always found that being kind, respectful, polite, and understanding to others has been the best policy and worked for my 43 years on this earth. The customer service and help I received from the wonderful people like Andrew and Kevin at AutoZone in Fredrickson on 176 / Canyon was second to none. Thank you Gentlemen for your commitment hard work and wonderful customer service. I will return here many times over simply because of my experience from these two men regardless of pricing, in stock conditions, or convenience (not that these where an issue for me). AutoZone did for me in 3 minutes for FREE what an auto repair shop wanted to do in a day for $150+. Not only did they find what was wrong, their staff is so helpful and knowledgeable they told me why it happened and how yo avoid it in the future. What would have been $400+ to diagnose and fix ended up being $8. BEST PLACE EVER read more

This store and their service are average, however, nothing above and beyond. The reason I am rating this a 2 star is due to a recent interaction that my partner and I had with them. We dropped off our battery to be charged and were told to call in an hour and a half to make sure it was charging. We called and were out on hold. Overall, we were in hold for fifteen to twenty minutes. We were told that it hadn't been charging that whole time because they forgot. We were told they would do a fast charge to see if it would hold a charge or if we needed a new one since we work early in the morning and need our car to work. We call back and are placed on hold multiple times. We were told by the manager that it was 85% charged and we left to run and get it since they were closing in fifteen minutes. My partner went in to grab it and was informed that the one charge at 85% wasn't ours, despite asking for our name over the phone to confirm. Ours was sitting by the cash registered..the same place we were told to put it so it could get charged two and half hours earlier... One mistake, life happens, but this was a series of mishaps due to a lack of communication with the employees and a lack of follow-through with how to take care of this issue. Let me start off with how rude the customer service is from the guy Donny, as soon as i got in to get oil he tells me "its right there!" When i was looking for oil, i have glasses and don't see well. As i had found different oil he starts telling customers about how lazy his other associates are and that quote "this place is a fucking mess in front of everyone and starts slamming things down, the gal who was at check out had fear in her eyes after saying "he's pissed". Instead of helping other associates and customers with problems he seems to be creating more of them with his temper instead of actually walking over and resolving the issue and working as a team, he complains about it and is extremely unprofessional, this is not the first time i have had this happen. He also proceeds to talk about the women like they are useless zombies ( they much more professional then him). Sadly to say with such horrible customer service and the rude way i was talked down to i will not be coming back to this new auto zone, no one should be treated like that be it customer or associate. read more
