Fantastic close family owned business! Food is LITERALLY home cooked and let me tell you, it's fantastic!!!! Fried chicken is out of this world!!! Honestly, everything is excellent!!! It's an older building that might make you apprehensive to eat there. Don't be! It's clean and the service is like you're a valued part of their family! We will gladly come back whenever we are passing through!!! read more

B & C Steak and BBQ - Don't judge a book by its cover!!! - Barbeque Near Me - Dillon, South Carolina

My father alerted me to this establishment. When I visited I indeed found it excellent but disputed his recollection that there were vegetables available other than fried. Now on the third visit, I can see there are indeed vegetables and maybe in the past I was too focused on fried pork chops (which I think are only available weekends since they weren't around for visits 2 and 3.) This isn't the largest buffet of all time but they're going for quality, not quantity. Fried chicken, pork barbecue and perfect sweet tea with just a tiny lemony zing are highlights. The shocking price tag is $7.79 for weekday dinner - I think it's $6.79 for weekday lunch and on weekends it crosses the $8 barrier. And the vegetables are indeed worth noticing, with the large, flat green beans ranking higher on the pork spectrum than the collard greens. The only disappointment was the ordinary mac and cheese. The pasta salad had more of a kick than expected. I was reluctant to leave but at least it ended on a high note with cherry cobbler and banana pudding, and then it was off to Route 95. read more

I have enjoyed having lunch or dinner here every time we're in the area . Buffet available or order from menu. They make extra effort to keep buffet area neat and clean. Very good selection too. It's unusual to be able to order steak as desired and have the buffet option. Excellent fried chicken and pastry when available. really worth trying. read more

While driving back from a trip in FL, I had a craving for BBQ, and being within the BBQ belt, I hoped to find something good in the Carolinas. We stopped for fuel, when what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a BBQ buffet; my lunch choice was clear. I will say, the staff was extremely friendly (typical southern hospitality), the prices weren't bad, and the spread looked OK. That's all the good I can say about this place. The food was ... edible? Tastes ranged from gas station convenience to expired theme park grub found under the bushes while waiting in line for the roller coaster. Next to the mushy pile labeled "pulled pork" was a bottle of sauce which was probably a lopsided mixture of ketchup, vinegar, and hot sauce - the only sauce aside from bland hot sauce on the tables to be found. The "pulled pork" was really the only thing even resembling BBQ, otherwise, they had fried chicken (which wasn't awful) or "grilled" (??) chicken that looked like it has been cut from the bird and cooked in the bucket of grey water, boiling in the hot sun. It pains me to dislike food, and I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I had to come out of Yelp retirement to leave this one. Absolutely do not stop here. read more

B & C Steak and BBQ - two plates of food - Barbeque Near Me - Dillon, South Carolina

Hot garbage worst buffet in the country. That's about all I can post. It's as basic as basic gets. If you stop there you won't starve but you're not getting a good meal either. read more

Buffet.. clean ... inexpensive Variety of food is moderate. Quality was eh... still the price was right and it was a good alternative to fast food garbage. Still, I believe we'd pass if happening on this location again. read more

This is one of the better southern buffets I've had. Great chicken, good meat n gravy and mashed potatoes. This is a typical steak buffet you find in this state. One of the more special choices was the sweet potatoes. Some of the best ever. My only complaint would be the delapidated bathrooms and judgmental stares from the patrons. This is as small town as you can find. Great food! read more

AWFUL! It was right across the street from our hotel, and we were tired so we gave it a shot and hoped for the best. STAY AWAY. The "buffet" was chicken and some sides. The rolls were good and that is the only thing nice I can say. The place STINKS inside. AWFUL. I guess there is no rules on smoking in restaurants in SC, because people were smoking everywhere and it just smelled AWFUL. The only piece of kitchen equipment that got used in this place was the can opener because it is clear their sides were all straight out of a can read more

Decided to try this out on a whim after seeing mixed yelp reviews. Poor life choice. We ordered bbq sandwich trays with fries and a drink. I also asked for a cut of water for the dogs. We were charged 25¢ for the water because "the cup".. Is this 1950? Moving on. It took about 10 minutes to get our food, which we were warned about when we ordered. When we got our food we ate in the car because the dogs. The bbq was completely tasteless. The fries had obviously been frozen when we ordered and we're made "fresh".. The best thing we could say about the food was that it was hot. It was the most unenjoyable meal I'd ever had. This place is one of the old steakhouse buffet places. The buffet was available and I noticed standard buffet fare you'd see at somewhere like Golden Corral, fried chicken, mac and cheese, frozen mixed veggies, fries, etc. There was also a salad bar that looked decent enough. Lesson: don't order from the sandwich menu, just risk it with the buffet.. Or just go somewhere else (but not the Wendy's...) read more

local all you can eat country buffet, with the usual southern cooking. This local favorite has polite and industrious staff. There is plenty of parking, next to economy gas stations and located right off the highway. If hungry for comfort food, come on down! read more

Very small selection of food plus the meat that they were serving was very dry.Maybe it was a bad day for me the okra was brunt! I will give them credit for there coffee it was SLIGHTLY better then McDonalds regular coffees. 4 stars was definitely over rated.Disappointing read more

Food was cold. When I informed them twice, the manager tasted it and responded, "she ain't lying." The owner daughter stated, "you should stir the food, because heat rises." Mam, I'm not an employee!!! Decided to dine somewhere else. No quality or quantity in dining here. read more

How can u complain. 25 for 2 people. Salad bar was clean and fresh Seafood fried was good Pulled Pork was great. Bathrooms were clean. Wait Staff was attentive. Good place to eat. read more

Mediocre at best. The staff was excellent and very friendly and attentive, but all of the food on the buffet left something to be desired. I tried the spaghetti and the noodles were very mushy, as if it had been sitting in water a while. Though there was a variety of southern food, it wasn't the best tasting. Selections included pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, potatoes, chicken, etc. The salad bar was good. The dessert bar was good although the cobblers weren't warm. The ice cream machine really had ice milk in it which isn't as good, but it was better than nothing. This is a good option if you're stopping off of the highway and don't want fast food, though it isn't the best buffet. I did not try the plates that you could order so I cannot speak for how that stuff tasted. read more

I'm too stuffed to think. Maybe a buffet wasn't the best idea before a 4 hour drive. I won't lie, some of the food on the buffet looked like it was left from yesterday and it was 3pm when we got there. I did not partake in any of those but everything else was above average. I would say the highlight was the stewed beef and the sweet tea. I personally would not recommend getting a big plate of their BBQ before you try it. The dessert was pretty good but the ice cream was watery and lacking flavor. read more

Food was hot and very good! We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was quite busy. Beverage service was prompt.

Omg this restaurant is disgusting!!! The steak was full of grizzle and fat. And who puts peas in macaroni salad??? Really???. The brown gravy tasted worse than canned gravy and the dessert bar was totally dried up. The chicken noodle soup was the only decent item . Dont waste your $$$ ppl. Horrible restaurant. Shocked they are still opened! read more

Disappointing. Buffet looked like it had possibilities and had lots of choices. Veggies and Mac and cheese were good but BBQ was cold, dry, and sauce for pulled pork was thin like gruel. read more

The service was great, but this is definitely not the kind of place I'm used to eating at. Even for a buffet, it's subpar. If you're from out of town, suck it up and keep driving to Lumberton or further into SC. read more

I ate there twice. The first time the food wasn't very good. Some of it looked old and dried out. I went there one day last week, and surprisingly, it was good. Maybe they have different cooks. read more

Great service! Banana puddin like Mema made. Fried chicken and bbq is very tasty. Look for the yellow sign.

I love this restaurant. The waitness is very friendly. You can choose to order buffet or from the menu. I love their ribeye steaks. Its a nice country style place read more

I was on vacation from the UK and for some reason I decided to drive from Coral Springs in Florida to NYC on I95. Throughout the entire journey I just kept seeing signs for Maccy 's, Wendy's, Burger King etc. The only thing that I kept thinking was "Where can I find something eat that hasn't been deep fat fried, is smothered in some ridiculously sweet sauce or layered with 12 layers of cheese?" Fuel was running low so I pulled off at Dillon to fill up and right next to the garage was this outstanding steak house. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a large buffet full of roast chicken, steamed veg etc, next to which was a lovely looking salad bar. I ordered the 12 once steak with a jacket spud and was told I was also entitled to the salad bar and dessert counter. Nice. Have you ever had a time when you're hungry, you have a picture in your head of the perfect meal to eat and when it comes to the table the reality is even better? No? Well I actually experienced this at B and C's. The steak was so good that even before I finished it I had to congratulate the chef for cooking me the best steak I'd eaten in the three months I'd been in the States. Listen, if you want a proper sized steak, not the normal tiny beef nugget you normally get charged $20 for, cooked to perfection you need to get youself down here. I must not forget to mention the really friendly and efficient staff as well. It was a pleasure to eat in this establishment. read more

Love it! Friendly, helpful staff. Good food. And the locals are amazing people! Stop by and give it a try. Buffet with variety of food to choose from. If you don't want the buffet there is a menu where you can order Steaks and Burgers separately. read more
