I used to think it was decent for what it was, but I am done with this place. Takeout menu specified tacos de carne asada came with onions, cilantro, lime, salsa. I got meat on a tortilla, and that's it. Whoever likes it that way can have it, I guess. Met my mom here for dinner last night and we really enjoyed ourselves. The place was packed and they were short staffed, but the staff managed to warmly greeted and take care of everyone in a timely manner. My mom and I decided to get their chicken and shrimp fajitas. While we waited we were given a basket of tortilla chips and two big helpings of salsa. Both of the salsas looked about the same--kinda the consistency of pasta sauce, but one was definitely spicier than the other, not as spicy as we thought that it could've been though. The spice was taken up a little bit with the fajitas. They came out pipping hot with an individual plate of beans, rice, lettuce, sour cream,, tomatoes, and tortillas for each of us. My mom asked for some cheese that made everything pop even more. I wish that my stomach could have handled more of the food, but it stopped me with one taco and a couple of forks full of beans and rice. The food was a little salty, but flavored just right. We had a very good meal here tonight. I ordered a draft Dos Equis & my husband ordered a standard margarita. We were both very happy. We were brought tortilla chips with salsa. I mentioned that I was interested in having guacamole & the young man brought me some. No charge. We then both ordered chicken quesadillas. They were excellent but HUGE. The food is hot and delicious always. The other day me and my fiance went for lunch. Sabrina the waitress gave use excellent service. The chef himself came out to make sure my steak was cooked to my liking and he said if I needed anything else to let him know. Always a great experience. This is a great place for taco's and everything else Mexican food! I love there shrimp taco's! I even love the stakes. I went there with some friends and we had a great time. They have mixed alcohol beverages and beers as well. It's a good place to unwind and socialize with friends. read more

It was the only restaurant in the area that had 4 stars so we decided to check it out. When we entered the restaurant, we were nicely greeted and seated promptly. There was social distance between the tables, although there weren't a lot of patrons. The server was pleasant and offered us chips with mild and spicy salsa. I ordered the shrimp quesadilla, my husband ordered carnitas asadas tacos and my daughter ordered chicken fajitas. All the food was fairly good and we were pleased. The only concern is that the restaurant needs an upgrade. The carpet and booths looked really old. Other than that, I would visit again. read more

We love hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurants. They're usually the place you find the most authentic and tasty Mexican food with warm hospitality to match. Not so here. The food was way salty and slow to come out (through no fault of our waitress). I ordered a shredded chicken taco and steak taco. I received a steak and chicken burrito. The steak was tender but over seasoned. The shredded chicken was good, but that might just be because it was so minimally seasoned next to the steak. It was all smothered in a nondescript sauce that tasted like an over cooked enchilada sauce out of a can. Salsa served with the chips was forgettable. I know it can't be easy to keep up and run a restaurant, but the ceiling fan was coated with dust and just about everything in the place was crying out for some attention, upkeep and TLC. Wet and falling down ceiling tiles, holes in the bathroom wall, etc. I hate to see small businesses not succeed, but what they're serving here is not worth eating. Will not be back. read more

Stopped in here headed back from vacation. Chips and salsa were pretty good. I order the queso with Raja and it was delicious. I also got a chimichanga which was different from what I'm used to. After reading the reviews on another travel website, we were enticed to go out of our way of 95 and try this restaurant. We had to seat ourselves, the bathrooms were disgusting, we had to ask for more chips to go with the queso dip, we had to ask for silverware, and to top it all off the food was barely edible. I must say, this came as a surprise.. We ordered a couple of Veggie Quesadilla and Veggie Fajitas.. They were fabulous and the fajita was really well done and spicy as well.. Ambiance is ok but for the price you can't ask for more.. Staff is extremely courteous.. They even customized the food to suit Indian taste buds.. yeah that's right.. and we did not even ask for it..
