Our drinks were delivered quickly but it did take a long time for our orders to arrive. I got chicken and beef fajitas with beans and rice and salad ( lettuce , a little cheese and tomato ). My grandson got a chicken taco with beans and rice and a empanada. My daughter got a chicken sandwich with fries. Mine was just warm, not hot. The beans were different than most places but they were ok. My grandson did not eat more than two bites of the taco. I have never seen him do that before. He just didn't like it, even after we put salsa on it to try and improve it. Luckily my daughter had a big serving of fries and my grandson are most of them. They were the best thing we had. We had fried ice cream for dessert and that was just ok as well. Our first waiter was great, checked on us several times but then disappeared. The second girl was just like opposite. We had to ask to order the ice cream.... And we waited a long time before asking. The place is decorated beautifully and the booth was comfortable. There is a large parking lot for parking.

I am very disappointed in this place as I usually love authentic Mexican tacos but now I see it is possible for them to be poorly made. Cute place-- love the bright sunflowers painted all over the tables. The wait staff didn't notice us for a bit -- maybe we came in the wrong door? When they did they told us to sit anywhere and immediately brought water, chips and salsa. The menu was huge -- so many choices! I finally decided on AC with chicken and vegetables. Huge portion covered with cheese -- delicious! Salsa was good, too. I never saw a drink menu though I think they had margaritas? Would have been nice if that was attached to the big food menu. I would definitely go back if I was in town again.

Very good authentic Mexican tacos! The service was good. And an awesome vibe with great margaritas!read more

What an incredible date night for two chickens…read more Me and my emo girlfriend who I'm not allowed to look at sometimes came in on a beautiful crispy Sunday night looking for some rice and beans and tequila. We were enthusiastically greeted and sat at a lovely pod like table with chairs that looked like benches and were also attached to the wall. They were really comfortable and I liked it better than a normal table. I think everytime I go into a restaurant I'm gonna ask for one and if I can't have it I'll speak to the manager or yell at a minor or something epic like that. We were given salsa and menus and left to our own devices which is never good. My gopher girl asked for the hot green salsa and decided to eat it!!!!!! It was Pwetty fweaking cwazy if you ask me. Good mouth feel though I liked the salsa and it was even better with chips believe it or not. We order quickly with our very attentive and attractive server and spot some opps from across the restaurant. Tis okay their pod-like table was across the restaurant and they couldn't see us. Me and bae just gabbed and she allowed me to look at her! This is what happens when you pay the bill ;) I got a burrito and enchilada and rice and beans. You guys the best meal in the world is rice and beans. All you need in this life is a spoon and rice and beans to be happy, successful, beautiful, and fearless. Swear. Very good times. Although I do not think I will be back in Lumberton I enjoyed my meal and my time. Infinite love

The only thing that I would say was decent was the pastor taco, the other two were simply just not good in my opinion. There are much better options nearby. Both the service and the food bely the humble exterior and interior. The inside is Spartan with just a few tables, but the service couldn't be better. For lunch, I had Melecio's Quesadilla with Chorizo, served with rice & beans. My wife had Three Soft Shell Tacos with Steak and a side order of rice. Both meals were outstanding, and truly authentic. No fancy presentation here as the meals are served in "to-go" containers with a plastic spoon. When we were there, every table (all 5 of them!) were occupied entirely by locals, except for us.
